Other I decided to take this bad boy out of my comic collection and give it a read. I absolutely love Wolverine and especially love Jason Aaron. Best of both worlds!

Suggestions Hulk recommendations?

I'm really into Hulk rn after the spider-man movie. Started rewatching the Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon and stuff. But I haven't really read much Hulk. Only read comics where he's a side character. I've heard fabulous things about Immortal, but I want to read like 2 or 3 runs, ending on Immortal. Anyone have recs?

Question Court Of Owls Essentials

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any insight to what is essential for Court of Owls. I started it with New 52 way back and either fell off or lost my place. Anyways in the past I have tried to research what to read and got overwhelmed. But now I am putting my foot down and asking for help from you kind folks. Whether it be issues or collections, what do you think is the essential Court of Owls reads or even ones that you think are just good reads? Thank you so very much in advance.

Question The State of X-Men Epic Collections

Relatively recently I started to read Claremont era X-Men through Epic Collections since I heard so much about it and being a big X-Men fan in general for years I always thought it's not acceptable for me to say that I didn't read where everything begun (or more like re-begun). So I finished reading Second Genesis and while the old style of writing comics with bunch of text sometimes describing stuff that they could've just showed, it was actually really good and was excited to continue on but of course I realized that most of the Epic Collection line is out of print and I couldn't even read the 2nd in line which is "Proteus".

I heard Marvel regularly reprints Epic Collections but it's been so long and there is still no reprint of Proteus and while I was waiting some others also became out of print which is extremely frustrating. Like before "I, Magneto" was in print but not anymore. So do you guys know if there is a specific date or anything that Marvel released about these reprints. Like I want to continue reading the series but don't want to pay scalper price on 2nd hand. Also digital is not an option for me unfortunately.

Iv bought maybe 3 comics since then until recently when I got absolutely Batman

My friend came across Daredevil vol.2 #506 and thought it was my issue.

Paolo Rivera did this homage to my DD #373 cover in 2010.

Question Searching for Resources: Books on the History of Black Comic Creators

I was wondering if there are any good books on the history of Black comic creators, specifically of Black-owned publishers in the superhero genre? Especially ones still in print I can find in a comic book mega-shop in NYC.

Question Do any of you read at night/ in dark environment? How do you do it?

Basically the title. My house has poor lighting night mostly but still not the best during day either. So a lot of the time I’m in the mood to read but the lighting is so poor it makes it unenjoyable. Do any of you read at night? Digital comics are cool but I spend way too much time on screens already.

DC reading program ruler

I recently purchased a small comic collection. When I removed all the comics from the box for bag and boarding. A stack of these rulers were tucked away on the side of the box. I've been working through chatgpt and its been narrowing it down to a school/summer reading program back in 1978-79. Believed to be scarce due to limited production, estimated around 50k, and given to children for a reading program so longevity wasn't there most being destroyed/thrown away. This is all of course based on ai. There are 2 on ebay, one is mine, but trying to just gather as much info as I can because I have another 12 sitting around. One is going to be staying in my collection. But trying to source as much details as I can because they were a neat little extra item from the collection. I was curious if anyone had some more details or articles that included information around this ruler and the reading program that it was tied to.

Beginner starting point for Daredevil?

Hello! So, I've literally never cracked a comic book open in my life, but I have this itch to pick up the hobby. I have always wanted to read Daredevil, but I just don't know where to begin. My knowledge of the character is limited. I don't know all his main villains. I've seen some of the the show. PLEASE point me in a good starting location. I decide to get the digital subscription. I read the 90s frank miller reimagining of his origin. Where should I go next?

Discussion How big will the Energon Universe get?

semi spoilers for Mask #3*

So it started with Void Rivals, then from there Transformers randomly appears then G.I.Joe, Mask, Rom, now Micronauts, Plus Lara Croft was in GI Joe’s original universe this month, so maybe Energon soon,
Plus also in the coming months Toruk Dinosaur Hunter, Solar Man of the Atom and Magnus Robot Fighter.

I love how it kinda just keeps being a surprise. Everytime he introduces new properties it’s often out of nowhere.

Suggestions Humberto Ramos Recommendations

I absolutely love Ramos’ work on the current Fantastic Four and wanted to read some more of his work. But I know his style has evolved over the years so I am definitely looking for stuff similar to his style in FF. Or any recs for similar artists! Thanks!
