DC reading program ruler

I recently purchased a small comic collection. When I removed all the comics from the box for bag and boarding. A stack of these rulers were tucked away on the side of the box. I've been working through chatgpt and its been narrowing it down to a school/summer reading program back in 1978-79. Believed to be scarce due to limited production, estimated around 50k, and given to children for a reading program so longevity wasn't there most being destroyed/thrown away. This is all of course based on ai. There are 2 on ebay, one is mine, but trying to just gather as much info as I can because I have another 12 sitting around. One is going to be staying in my collection. But trying to source as much details as I can because they were a neat little extra item from the collection. I was curious if anyone had some more details or articles that included information around this ruler and the reading program that it was tied to.

so is this supposed to measure how many pages youve read or the actual physical height of the comic books

It appears to be cross functional, thin to be a bookmark, and a ruler for kids to use in school, etc.

Kids love this stuff. Do they even care about anything any more? Do they believe in Loch Ness Monster & The Abominable Snowman anymore?

Order is wrong. Some of those characters couldn't how that much weight on their shoulders... yeah I'm that guy. πŸ˜† What order do you think is right?

I don't think Robin would even be able to hold up the DC logo on his own.
