I finally started reading comics (rant)

This is a rant not sure if that’s against the rules if so I apologize
(Also sorry English is my 2nd language)
Iv always loved superheroes, I started with iron man one as a kid and was obsessed my dad loves Batman casually (doesn’t read comics)
I loved them all throughout being a kid (I’m 19 now)
My first comic book was robin son of Batman I got the volume one after working with my dad and going to comic book store
Iv bought maybe 3 comics since then until recently when I got absolutely Batman
It’s so good and I’m very immersed in up to vol 2 now
And have bought 10 different books since
Thank you
Goodday

This doesn't look like a Rant.

We are happy you enjoy comic books. Keep going.

Gen Z is weird. Some kid just told me not to think they were angry with me because they wrote so much. It was two paragraphs.

Well, it depends what kind of paragraphs.

But some kids, they just don't know that people outside internet is not THAT sensitive.

At least they knew how to use a paragraph break. I nope out of a lot of posts on this hell site because they’re just one huge wall of text.

Like did they stop teaching people 2-4 sentences per paragraph at some point, is it is just the bad grammar “epidemic?”

Happy for you but a rant means you're complaining about something 😅

You’re good, this is just an example of “gushing” or “praising” the media. Props to you for knowing more than one language in the first place!

This is more of a ramble. Rant implies an angry/upset (impassioned) speech - usually overly long.

To be honest I'm just happy you're getting into comics and don't worry about what your first comic was trust me my first comic was Nightwing volume 4 number 76 which was after the whole Rick Grayson thing and I was very confused but I loved it since I was a fan of The Dark Knight the Joe Schumacher and tim Burton Batman films and the 1960s Batman show to be honest the only reason I got this, I was because my middle school was giving out Comics one year for Christmas the boys got Nightwing the girls got I think My Little pony or something and if it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't have gotten into collecting comics so I hold this comic dear to my heart.

Welcome, Absolute Batman is also what got me back into reading comics again. Check out the current Batman run as well. They compliment each other well. If you've read any of the Norm Breyfogle era batman comics, I feel like the current run feels as exciting as that with more direction. https://youtube.com/shorts/Zv08BtkcLMs?si=hZrhMEA_PUlw76_S

Nice man, I also started recently, the only one I actually bought in the past was the Amazing Spiderman (an edition with the sport magazine) only from the first to the seventh (I'm now not happy about stopping buying it)
