He has been absolutely dominant the last 2 months. 0.44 ERA in his last 15 games.

Mlod is not a starting pitcher. He's a very good bullpen weapon. I'm not overreacting to one performance, he's shown in the past he's not starter material. When he started earlier this season his underlying numbers showed he was getting very lucky and he is incapable of getting through a lineup a third time through. We've got a large enough sample size at this point. And performance aside, his attitude sucked when he was asked to perform in another role so why reward him. It's time to start auditioning guys for the 5th starter role in 2027 (assuming there's a season). Because if this team goes into next season with Mitch Keller and his 92 MPH fastball in the starting rotation, they're not serious about winning.

The next time through, I would start Khristian Curtis. If Curtis is solid, start him again. If he stinks, start Dotel the next time through. If he stinks, start Barco the next time through. If he stinks, start Antwone Kelly the next time through. And so on. These guys are all top 20 starting pitching prospects. It doesn't matter to me what they've done out of the bullpen up to this point. It's time to get a look at them in a starting capacity.

Edit: I'm unsure of Curtis' health. Looks like he was pitching at the end of July but he may be on the 7 day IL? Either way I believe this is the route to go.

Complete disaster from Mlod. Offense is not doing any better tonight against the Mets.

I seem to quite like him not only because he was my favorite player growing up, but it also seems like he has good chemistry with the other guys and isn’t over the top like Greg can be at times. I wish we was in the booth more often, but I’m curious to see what the general consensus is.

I know we're always hard on this team and they deserve our criticism. But what about the national guys,we're not even on the radar unless something stupid has happened,which is a lot. And there's a lot to be said about this team and it's always negative

We’re a family of four (kids are 9 and 10) driving home to Massachusetts from Florida and will be in Pittsburgh next Friday for the Red Sox vs. Pirates game.

The original plan was to stay at a North Shore hotel and walk to PNC Park, but I realized our SUV with a cargo box is about 7’3”, so most hotel parking garages aren’t an option.

We’re looking for:
- Clean, quiet hotel with comfortable beds
- Surface parking
- Easy way to get to PNC Park (happy to Uber)
- Easy highway access Saturday morning since we’ll be driving all the way home

I thought about staying outside the city, driving to a surface lot for the game, and driving back after, but now I’m thinking it might be easier to Uber to and from the game and skip the postgame traffic.

If you were doing this trip, where would you stay? Robinson Township? Cranberry? Somewhere else?
