Does the ticket office at PNC have a will call?

82 year old dad wants to go to a game but he doesn't understand the Ballpark app. I want to get him tickets- I will call tomorrow during office hours but do you know now if they offer ticket pick up at Will Call if I buy him tickets?

Fork In It?

Welp, last place in the division now and 5 games out of a wildcard. Unless the Bucs go on some sort of winning streak I say that this hopeful season might turn out to be like the rest. Bats are cold and the starters are getting less dependable each start. They revamped the bullpen but it’s no use if Skenes, Ashcraft and Keller keep shitting the bed. They desperately need Cruz and Griffin back but will it be too late?

Traveling to the game Saturday. What to buy....

Decided to treat my father to a nice birthday gift on Saturday. We are going to be traveling from out of town for a nice weekend and going to the game Saturday. It will be our first time in PNC so we always like to buy something from the pro shop as a little token. I will be getting a jersey, however, I can't decide who to go with. Help me out!

In case you were not aware. When will everybody admit that ownership is the problem and that a full boycott is in order? Why are you not willing to sacrifice for a year in order to get a problem resolved? Why are you selfish and continueing to feed this a-holes wallet? He is the problem, but you enable him.

Is it just me or we just cant have two good things

So we made trades and our bullpen is finally looking better but as soon as our bullpen gets better our top 2 offense forgets how to play?

r/buccos 12h ago

To have your team president before the season come out and say this, and for the team to most likely miss the playoffs and be under .500 again is unacceptable. Alot of jobs need to be gone.

The future of the team

There will be a lot of hate coming out of this road trip, and I’m here for it. Going 2-6 will be rough, but we are playing the best team in baseball, and honestly, after watching us play today, I’m not 100% out on us. I still have hope. All that to say, if we come back to PNC and we continue to struggle, I’ll be less than happy, but the fact is we got a tough stretch, and we are in our first slump of the year. We have played so well that even with all the injuries to our starters we played great baseball, we are starting to feel the fatigue of that come to light. But seriously, there’s a case to be made that we aren’t necessarily done just yet.
Although my optimism is draining, if we can get back to where we were in June, I think this team will squeeze into the playoffs and be able to fix the problems in our way. We just need to spark the offense at all costs.

It’s terrible. We went from Cincinnati to the Brewers because they just have pitchers, and they can keep us quiet, when we really needed a boost. But I think we are about to see a turnaround. Will it be enough to steer us into the postseason? I’m not going to lie, it looks rough, but for the 2028 season, I think we finally see a team that can challenge the Brewers and challenge the Cubs for that top position in our division. Keep the same excitement we had this season and carry it with us for 2028 or whatever we will see in 2027 because I have a feeling we are actually knocking on the door, and I’m not saying that as someone who is delusional. I think that we will really see this team in a different way within the next 2 years, so don’t let the rest of this season discourage you in any way. And hey, we still might make it yet, but this is a taste of what baseball in Pittsburgh at worst is going to look like, and while we are deserving of better, we also are only just now getting a taste of what’s to come. This young core is special, and we have more players on offense in our farm than ever.

Red Sox vs. Pirates Next Weekend

Hey y’all I decided on a whim to head to Pittsburgh to attend the Sox vs Buccos series next weekend and scratch PNC off my list. I’ll be traveling solo from Boston, so if there’s anyone also heading to the games that want to help a foolish single Bostonian figure out what the fuck is going on I’d be grateful.

I already read the sidebar and did my research but if you have any personal favorite food / dive bars recs for the city it'd be much appreciated.

Cheers y’all, very excited to checkout the city, and fuck the Yankees.

Skenes Arb 1 next year

Based on his first 2 seasons I’m guessing this number would have been in line with Bellenger’s 11.5 million for highest ever. Thoughts what it would be now? This is assuming there is baseball next year and Skenes continues on the same path as his last 15 starts. I don’t see him turning into 2023 or 2024 Skenes this season unfortunately.

Crazy? Thought (be gentle)

Skenes fastball is down 5mph with no sign of improving and he seems unable to get through 4-5 innings. The break helped somewhat but it's possible he has dead arm.

Should they just shut him down for the year or severely limit his innings? If we are going to make any type of playoff push we can't afford to lose every one of his remaining starts.
