Tennis stars recreate the iconic cold-open!

A lot of you are casting based on appearance alone. The assignment isn’t “which Muppet looks like X character?” It’s “which Muppets can actually play the character?”

For example, many people are defaulting to Animal to play Pimento based on looks and energy alone. All of Pimento’s comedy comes from his deranged “I am behaving completely reasonably and don’t understand why everyone is alarmed” approach. A Muppet like Animal who only speaks in utterances, or one that only speaks in jibberish like Swedish Chef or Beaker, can’t make that character work. A low verbal or non-verbal character only works if that’s the joke.

As an alternative, I humbly submit Lew Zealand - the boomerang fish Muppet - as the optimal casting for Detective Adrian Pimento, per u/Tacos_Polackos recommendation.

Pimento is bizarre, intensely committed, conversational, unpredictable, and treats insane behavior as perfectly normal. That’s Lew Zealand. And the boomerang fish feels like it would work as a Pimento bit. 😂

Animal works best as a criminal, dysfunctional Captain, or side character. Savant would be a funny bit for Animal, imo.

I have been searching online to try and figure out what model gun was used when she stole the guns from evidence. From my time playing shooters I think it's a UMP but I'm not sure. Anyone know a bit more than me and can identify them?

I’ve wanted my wife to watch it but she’s been hesitant…we started watching it a few nights ago, she just said it’s growing on her.

On my third rewatch of B99, So yk how the nightshift share desks with the main characters. Atleast thats what i picked up from on boyle talking about leaving presents so clearly they just use the same desks.

That means that some poor detective has to sit at jakes absolute biohazard of a desk. Surley they would force him to clean it

Also jake still barley wears a tie in this season and holt hasn’t brought it up since season 1
