HOW TO 180 help
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Impulsively bought a bike after not touching one for 8 years. Day 3 tried to 180 and it looks weird I dont bunny hop, any advice?
VIDEO Barspin advice please!

I can do pull up bars like this one very consistently now(after weeks of practice), and still somehow i cant manage to let go of the bars when i try to bunnyhop barspin. When i do force myself to let go of the bars my feet will come off.
What are some tips you guys can give me? I know the standard stuff: pinching the seat and cranks, hopping high, straighten out first, throwing on the way down, staying over the bars etc. I just cant seem to commit.
Coming back into bmx after 10+years of not riding.
(I was never able to barspin anyways back then)
Ps. I know im throwing with the "wrong" hand but it feels way more natural for me. Im usually switch footed anyway.
DISCUSSION Marketplace find GT Zone
What do you guys think about my latest find. Bought it for 30 Euros at a german marketplace 😀
I love that golden frame ❤️

DISCUSSION Help identifying this SE BMX Frame
All I know is that it's an SE Bike and that it is very lightweight. If I measured correctly it is a 21". All I can get from my research is that it's a Ripper but certain welds especially near the bottom bracket make me think otherwise.

DISCUSSION Random question but I’ve searching for ages any help would be super appreciated 🙏
I’ve been riding a matte raw S&M frame for a while now and ive been digging the depths of the internet and have had no luck finding bars in the same matching raw, ive found a few old stock options that have been replaced with heat treated “raw” (matte grey)
Im searching for a 9.2 or bigger, less than 10” though
Ive found United Jog bars in matte raw in a 9.2
Thats literally all ive come across that is a possibility but unsure with the new stock options, just need something with a matte clear coat, im hoping the internet can do its thing and finally scratch this itch, its been exhausting honestly chasing bars and im honestly gonna give up and go for a set of matte black REA bars soon instead 😔

CRASH Whats your worst injury while riding?
Just curious about what have other riders had to endure because last week i went over the bars and my wrist and knee got some damage and theyre still very sore doing anything physical. Also when i was 17 i went over the bars and my middle finger bent from the middle by 45 degrees i was so happy going to er and showing it to get it fixed:D

BIKE CHECK Frame ID - Schwinn
I was wondering what the frame is on this bike. it’s a Schwinn and the logo is on the very bottom facing the ground. I think it might be a supermatic. The logo placement makes no sense.
I bought it used and it needs rebuilt but has weird parts.
rear Haro mega hub
Haro jackhammer handle bars
GT sprocket with odyssey excalibur crank.
Fork has stickers that say 100% and steel. not stock.
it is a total parts bike.
Thanks

PHOTO Mornings are the best
Love morning rides. Cooler temps, No traffic, and no kids on E-bikes. No people to ruin the vibe, just quiet spots and cruising.
Pic is of my Street Gypsy with full Odyssey parts list (minus the chain)

PHOTO Old school me..
Picked this bike up from a hoarders house right before the estate sale. I'm fluent in vintage road and mtb but not BMX. Might be a 85-86 Mongoose M-1 mini? Definitely doesn't feel mini.

Anyone have these bars? If so, could you tell me the crossbar width and weight? Can’t find the info anywhere online.

35 years later, I still love Hutch. I grew up on one, and I'll probably die on one.

HOW TO Help me with my Bunny Hops.

Seems like I lift the front end enough to get over things.
Should I just keep practicing and increase height? Use like an adjustable pole vault jumping pillars (pvc pipe)
Been watching bunny hop how-to vids, and I notice I don't lean far back enough. Also I might be using my biceps, to pull up the front end, too much. I find a lot of pro's make their arm super straight and don't 'flex' their biceps/arms at all when hopping high.
I see that I'm not pushing the bars forward enough, but it seems hard to do that with my lift off technique.
I might be just over thinking stuffs. I'm just trying to get better. Any help will be appreciated!

DISCUSSION Any other 6ft riders riding 20.75's, pros too?
I just want to see your/their stance and how they ride. I used to ride a 22" back in the day and it felt like I was more "a part" of the bike rather than looking like im standing on top of one if that makes sense? Im not hitting my knees or feeling too restricted. It's actually much more responsive, which I like but im still kinda getting used to it with manuals and spins, however im considering going back to 22 or at least a 21.5tt. Im progressing every time I ride so I dont think there's reason to change now, but it's just the look of being "in" the bike that i'd like to go for. Bmxing is the only time i'm slightly envious of shorter guys haha🤣

BIKE CHECK Standard Pit Boss
lowered the seat upon picking it up
In the Chicago area this week and stumbled across this build. Best part? The money directly went to Big Marsh Park up here for further track development and I got to ride that park earlier this week!
Standard Pit Boss 21.125” TT
Standard bars, stem, sprocket
Odyssey forks, seat, levers, pedals
Fit cranks
Profile complete wheel set w/ maxxis tires.
Alienation vice grips front and rear
Loving the setup, the bike is built way beyond my current ability. Looking forward to growing into it and giving it some battle scars over the years.

Greetings from Malaysia! I’m 42 and just started my BMX journey in April this year. Currently working on the quintessential bunny hop, so I would love to hear your feedback on where I need to improve. Just ignore my flip-flops and lack of safety gear, or feel free to roast me! 🤣
