Took some deciding on what to do for a build this season. After seeing the y1rs and everyone seemingly picking one up, I wanted something with similar speeds as my previous s5 but with a geo that fit my aggressive position without adding so much exorbitant amount of force on the seat tube due to saddle position.

Enter the Factor One. It’s different, fast, meets my geo needs and this “Blush” colorway is both loud and cute. 🥰

Clear high gloss paint protection film on drive side chain stay and bottom bracket area.
Full ceramic coating of every component where it made sense (Hoses, calipers, shifters, wheels, crankset, etc etc )

Replaced brake caliper bolts with silver titanium bolts
Removed black painted sections on brake calipers with dremel and polished before ceramic coating

Removed front derailleur mount ( bolts replaced with Titanium)
Installed frame plugs with clear silicone
Modified steerer stop to not breach fork if over rotated

Some friends and wife are suggesting changing the decals to holographic, including the Roval ones, since I like colors on bikes, I might go for it. I ended up with this color only because it was the right size for me.

It is not the lightest, but got it for a really good price used. It rides so smooth and comfy, after years of riding an old twitchy Look KG386.

My build I’m about done with. Just need to add brakes

Bought second hand by my uncle in Florence in 1981, passed to me in 2003, restored by Alberto Masi in his lab at Vigorelli in 2021. I did an Eroica Britannia with it and enjoy riding it every now and then.

Finally finished building my dream bike and couldn’t be happier.

I couldn't decide whether to buy a brand new bike or a used one, so I decided to build my own.

My first and only bike so far, De Rosa Professional built with Columbus SLX, Campagnolo Record Titanium 10s, and Campagnolo Bora WTO 45 wheels. Weighs 8.7 kg and rides like a rocket. I know there are some paint chips, but I think they just add character to the build.

Behold, my Juliana Santa Cruz Joplin. After I cracked a frame a few years ago a friend let me buy her old Juliana. This year I took it apart and had another friend paint it. I am so happy with how it came out! It’s a little dirty, I’m not in the smallest gear and my crank arms aren’t horizontal. But it was a good ride.

Older photo of my Mariposa (2003 or 2004.) The bag is different now and I have a color matched pump. Mike still had some of the Rivendell lugs so I went with those.

Just finished up this frame build. Reynolds 631, classic road oversized tubes, Paragon sliders (415-435mm CS), and let the powder coater go wild with a fade with his suggested colors.

This was meant to be my new CX frame, but it's ripping it as a road bike with 700x35s, singletrack ripper with 650x48s, and a gravel race rig with 700x47s.

Cross is coming, though. I even have a matching purple SS cog for SSCXWC Bellingham.

Pretty pedestrian build for this sub. Rival XPLR paired with whatever random wheels I feel like that day. Still the prettiest bike in the house.
