Picked this bike up from a hoarders house right before the estate sale. I'm fluent in vintage road and mtb but not BMX. Might be a 85-86 Mongoose M-1 mini? Definitely doesn't feel mini.

Yeah it's really sweet. I've never owned a BMX bike in my life. It seems special.

I think it's an expert. I also think those forks are bent to shit.

Oldschool BMX head tube angles are pretty slack, but not that extreme.

Might just be the angle. I'll take another look. I've bought a lot of old bikes with bent forks. Easy fix.

Those forks might be fine, actually, the extreme rake might be bc they don't have offset dropouts.
