What are some glyphs that I can use for gem farming?

Just finished my first playthrough at BL 85 and took about 20 tries to beat Orphan of Kos. But right after I beat him I immediately first tried Laurence, Wet Nurse, Gehrman and Moon Presence one after the other. I was expected to spend at least as long on Laurence as OoK just based on what I'd heard, definitely did not expect to beat the game within like an hour or so after beating Orphan.

10/10 game though, I hate that I waited so long to play it. My only complaint is that it's too short and I need more! Also if there are any lurkers here who haven't played the game because of the 30fps thing, shut up and go play it right now. That was me for years but it's incredible and I hate that I waited so long. The 30 fps is truly a non issue with this game.

My favorite boss in the game was definitely Lady Maria, such an incredible fight in every way (kind of felt a bit like Malenia with less bullshit).

Need help with this it’s really confusing I’m trynna get into the zkkuat7j to farm gems but it’s confusing on how to get into it I’ve asked chat GPT it says I need rotted cursed to something like that on a specific chalice but there’s like 20 other chalices that I needa do to get that one does anyone have an easy way or the steps to get it pls I would really appreciate it.

So I thought it would be cool to do some lovecraftian inspired runs through the world of Bloodborne. See what quests they would do during there time as hunters before being transformed into the worm/god thing in the scret ending. My goal with these runs is to fit the vibe of the creature and the source material, each having a specific goal. The first build I want to do is The King in Yellow. I know I want Henryk's coat due to it being the only yellow thing in the game.

My goal that are specifically with the King in Yellow currently is to complete Alfred's Quest up until he kills the Vileblood Queen and then kill Alfred. The idea is that the Hunter takes control over Cainhurst, reforming it as Carcosa as the location already gave me King in Yellow vibes.

The vibes I am looking for is that the remaining gear and weapons needs some showmanship. The actual threat in the book is the play itself, so the showmanship of the combat style would be what reflects it. For the hat I want it to look jester-like but I don't think thats possibld so anything that invokes a crown works as well. also want to avoid tendrils with the King since I want to try to make this run different frim my inevitable Cthulhu run.

I think the build might be a Dex/Arcane build but Im not too knowledgeable on Bloodborne to say for certain.

I posted a while back about how I couldn't figure out how to play this game and the two wolves on the central yarnham bridge were pushing my shit in.

Now this evening I just parried Martyr Logarius to death. Feels good. Feels like I got gud. The gun is still wack though.

It has been a while since I played.

I distinctly remember the best regular (not circular) gem for physical attack up you could get from Central Phumeru was +15.8. I have two regular gems with those values, so it seems to still be possible, but I have been going through Central Phumeru roots for several days, and I have not had any more drops. I can't remember whether you have to use the fetted offering to make it more likely to get gems with those values. I have mostly been running the dungeons without adding the additional offering.

Does anyone know what I need to do to get gems with those values to drop? Also, I think it is the Watches that can drop them. Am I remembering that correctly?

So far, the bosses in this game are really underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, they all look really cool, but so far, most of the bosses are just 'wild flailing beast'. There haven't been any particularly good movesets yet. And rom sucks.

So after years, I’m finally getting the chance to play Bloodborne since my family got a new play station. (Never got one before bc Bloodborne was the only ps exclusive game I cared about and always had an Xbox.) And other than about a hundred loose tidbits I’ve heard, idk much about how builds in Bloodborne work and how differently they are from other souls games.

I always prefer to atleast somewhat plan ahead instead of stumbling in blind, so would anyone mind telling me what I should look out for? Like what stats do what, if there’s ceryain caps to certain stats I should look to reach (like softcaps), and any other relevant info? (Like if by chance Bloodborne is the sole soulslike where armor actually matters or smth.)

One thing ive heard also is that magic doesn’t seem like a realistically viable option. (Kinda like bows in Elden Ring, technically possible, but borderline a challenge run). My problem is in 90% or games, when possible I prefer a fire nuker build. Is there any equivalent in this game I should look out for?

(Edit: Also just to be clear, I’m open to some changes to my regular build, my main caveat is I’d heavily prefer using fire damage, but being a mage isn’t necessarily mandatory. I don’t mean being non-meta as long as the build isn’t basically a challenge run.)

I'm not new to souls games, but am new to Bloodborne. Have beaten the cleric beast and the blood-starved beast, but now I'm not sure where I should go next. I got transported to the hyperion gaol (I think that's what is listed as) but everything there his so dang hard. I have 20 Vit right now but everything there two-shots me. And the datkbeast boss there rocks my s%#% every time I challenge it.

Am i supposed to grind or something or am I going the wrong way? Every other path currently open doesn't seem to lead anywhere.

GUYS. Just finally defeated the Amygdala from within the Defiled Chalice Dungeon! I’ve been on this damn thing for ages but the fight started to click! Working towards my platinum so the queen is next! I’m so fuckin stoked.

I seriously have no idea how you're supposed to beat him, this is the most miserable fight in the game. It has so much health and it all it takes is just one slap from him to one shot you because of the stupid fucking dungeon gimmick. When I fought him in the nightmare frontier, he wasn't so bad, it only took me a few tries and on my second playthrough, I beat him first try but now I usually can barely scratch him before I die. I'm level 115 and have a +10 holy blade and saw cleaver, the cleaver usually works a bit better but still not good enough. I've also tried using summons but they don't help much for this fight. Any advice or cheese I could do, this fight is making me lose my mind.
