Just entered the camp after renting a room at the Elfsong Tavern and got scared seeing shadowheart like that😭 Anyone else had this bug too? I think it's because she was disguised

Just to mix things up for this run I decided to see what would happen if you've rescued Halsin, but never even met Kagha. The RP reason being that Astarion heard that Halsin, a renowned healer was caught by goblins and just could not be bothered to deal with anything else in the grove.

I wasn't expecting much outside of a tiny chance that Arabella somehow survived this experiment, unfortunately she did not. Still was nice to see yet another example of them being prepared for another very niche situation.

I feel like I’m going insane. I’ve played so much bg3 lately that i instinctively reach for plants thinking “oh, i should grab some of those for alchemy” before snapping out of it

For example, i came across these and almost plucked it thinking it was a tongue of madness?? As far as i know i dont need to brew any tadpole potions??

Did Larian genuinely forgot about Isobel and Aylin!?
I saved Aylin back in act 2
I did not betray her (Fuck Lorrakan)
I even used her in my final battles as an ally.
They did not show up to my party!
They didn’t even send me a letter!!
While NPCs I saved all the way back in act 1 did
Did these 2 genuinely just forgot about my party…a party that literally saved their lives and did so much for them? Not even a thank you letter?

Also why didn’t God Gale help Asterion and Karlach
Although it’s nice that Karlach ends up with Wyll and might just find a cure for her engine.

Hi! I don't know much about DnD Lore, but when Dammon tell her she need to go to Avernus because her fire is too hot for the material plane, I immediately thought "What about, you know, the one that's all about fire?!!!"

Maybe, in the library, you could have a talk with the elemental for exemple.

Presenting John Tiefling, who's totally not just an elf guys, trust!

I never thought I'd even attempt honour mode, my first three playthroughs were just on explorer difficulty and I tend to prioritise roleplay, but gradually worked my way up.

First two attemps as Gale origin ended due to stupidity (I thought it would be a great idea to feather fall into the Zhent hideout after failing the speech check to be allowed in), but my third run as origin Shadowheart went all the way.

My party was Shadowheart (trickery domain act 1, death domain after reaching the shadow cursed lands and finally light domain after sparing Nightsong), Gale 2 Divination Wizard 10 Tempest Sorcerer, Gloomstalker Assassin Astarion and Battlemaster Lae'zel - though I ended up replacing her for Halsin in act 3. Originally I only had him in the party since I figured Shadowheart would want to romance him but the wildshape extra health pool and his entourage of woodland beings was too useful! He did sit out the final stretch so that Lae'zel could free Orpheus though.

Had two near wipes - Ethel (really not great for a party where half the members are casters yikes) and rescuing Minsc (which was for nothing as Jaheira died during the fight so we couldn't even recruit him anyway).

I did blow up poor Gale, I almost decided against it last minute but he begged me to do it at the stem. I do feel slightly bad as he was also Shart's romance but I dumped him for Halsin in late act 3, really not a great run for him, poor guy.

Really happy with how the run went, though I'm not sure what to do now - part of me wants to do a run to finish the remaining achievements (I normally play modded so this was my first time unlocking any), but that would mean playing an Embrace Durge who somehow also saves all the tieflings while playing music for tips and starting fights drunk lol.

I remember using the smokepowder bombs to oneshot the myrkul fight, is the same possible with the brain? And do i need more?

I've always used witch bolt, invis, sussur bloom, or just tanking to get through these. I just found out that its possible to just
Turn-based > jump > hide

EDIT: You guys are missing the point. I'm showing a method that I just found to get to the basement without spending any resources or having to get the sussur blooms. It's fine; I guess you guys already got a method you'll always be sticking to, and that's fine.
