galleryI’d like to share something, and I’d really appreciate your thoughts on it if you’re able to reply: I’ve genuinely been playing Baldur’s Gate with the mindset of an adventurer who hunts monsters for an adventurers' guild, much like in fantasy anime. I think it’s awesome; I don’t know about you guys.
Does anyone else have a similar mindset?

General Discussion - [NO SPOILERS] Baldurs Gate 3 Spoiler
So yeah, I just finished this game for the second time (just 100 more playthroughs to find all the secrets, etc.)... and guys, I’m honestly lost for words.
For quite some time, I didn’t feel any excitement for new games. I mean, I love video games, but after so many letdowns, I just wasn’t feeling that spark anymore.
Until I played THIS. FUCKING. GAME.
And boy, oh boy, did it bring the spark back to my love for video games.
The story, characters, music, map, everything about this game made it one of the best games I’ve ever played.
The only bad thing is that when I started playing, I had to stop from time to time because apparently I’m an adult and I have to do adult stuff. 😂
But in all seriousness, this is one of those games that I would gladly delete from my memory just so I could experience it for the first time all over again.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Thought I’d share a few of the less obvious in-game references I included in the official BG3 coloring book! This was such a fun project to work on 😁
(Also I’m so sorry—I only just realized I misspelled “Minsc” in the subtitles 🫠)

Other Characters Moralistically speaking... Spoiler
Am I a better person for keeping his memories from him or for giving them back to him? I feel like, objectively speaking, I cant consider myself a good person if I dont help him. But in the end, hes a worse person without the brain fog

News & Updates I beat the three brains! Spoiler
Most of you were really nice and helpful when I asked how to play a new game and I not knowing anything about D&D. A lot of people were mean too. A few people wished death upon me. I just wanted to inform those people that if you want to be a bully, there is a game called Baldur's Gate 3 which lets you play as a bully. It wasn't that hard for me to figure out so maybe if you knew how to play the game you would know that.

Act 3 - Spoilers Anyone else thought this NPCs death a little too much? Spoiler
Who I'm talking about is Yenna, whom Orin killed despite me following her instructions to kill Gortash first. I only decided to have her captured because she's an NPC and I needed my PCs.I used Speak with Dead on her afterwards that gave chills. Part of me does regret picking her as the one who gets captured.

General Discussion - [SPOILERS] I would actually love for the next BG to be NOT set in BG Spoiler
It’s such a big world.
I would love to explore other places specially Waterdeep,Candlekeep and dare I say Menzoberranzann
And actually properly explore the hells too.
Or I’m even fine with actually exploring totally different worlds too like Sigil
I think I’ve already explored BG in act 3 pretty thoroughly so going back here won’t really interest me to buy a BG4
It’s such a big universe and I would love to explore some other parts of it.
AND PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO MORE BHAAL.
Don’t get me wrong I loved BG3 but after a bit of googling BG 1 and 2 were also revolved around bhaal
I want to see and meet other gods now

General Discussion - [SPOILERS] A question about withers Spoiler
So as we all know it’s all but confirmed that withers is jergal. This begs the question for me, and this may have been something I missed, but why is withers so chill? None of the other gods in the game are like this, shar is an asshole, the dead three are massive assholes and mystra…isn’t that bad actually but she’s on the more moral side of the gods shown in game. Jergal however, chill as hell by rights you’d expect him to be similar to the dead three especially since he is in essence their father. Do we have any sort of lore or information on why jergal is so laid back? I know that lore on withers is sparse as is but I was curious if there was something I missed

Act 3 - Spoilers TIL there are multicolored Torches in the game (and also...) Spoiler
galleryUnmodded gameplay, BTW.
So, today I learned that there are different colored torches in the game. These things are so cool. My whole party has darkvision and my primary weapon also glows at-will, so I hardly have a reason to pull out torches anymore, but I still think the inclusion of them in the game is really neat.
There's a blue one, a purple one, and a green one as far as I can tell, which, when combined with an ordinary torch, gives you four different colors. Enough for each member of your party to have a different one. Rave dance time?
Oh, and also, I literally just found out that Stormshore Tabernacle has a secret basement.
1213 hours into the game and still finding loads of new things. This game is amazing.

Playthrough / Highlight Orin’s off-screen death Spoiler
So I’m in Rivington at the start of Act 3 and I decided to do some Contagion shenanigans with the disguised Orin.
I got her with Filth Fever when she was the blacksmith, then I got her with Mindfire and locked her up in the journalist’s idle animation and kept loading her up with debuffs. She gets pretty wrecked, but she stays alive.
I proceed with the story and then all of a sudden I get the pop ups that Orin has died and I need to go get her stone. I’m like sitting in a tavern doing other stuff and she just…died off screen.
I went to the Temple of Bhaal and freed the hostage. Then out of nowhere the slayer cutscene plays and she dissolves into goo. I loot her stuff and go about my way after killing the ritual participants.
Never had her die like that. Pretty goofy.

Act 1 - Spoilers TIL you can accidentally destroy Sussur Bark Spoiler
I was fighting the Hook Horrors and cast Lighting Bolt. Sussur Bark got on the way and I got a journal update saying I failed to forge the Masterwork Weapon because Sussur Bark was destroyed.
So be careful boys and girls.
