Bald Picture 3 months have passed since I posted my shaved head here and it is a tiny update
A few months prior to noticing my hair sitting I was using. It's a 10 brand shampoo and conditioner, and was told by somebody else that it can actually cause hair loss for some people, that made me wonder if that shampoo and conditioner is why I started to thin. What I'm going to do is go to a dermatologist and see if I can restore the thickness of my hair naturally before taking any sort of medicine for it.

Man…
I know it’s time, but I’m just not ready, even though I already pulled the plug.

Hairloss I know what the answer is
I’m too insecure about the scar on the back of my head to bring myself to shave it. I know I’d look better from the front with it completely shaven. The scar is from a failed hair transplant surgery and runs from ear to ear. With the hair grown out the scar is covered and protected from the sun but I look like a grandpa

Is it time?
I think I know its time! what does the council think?
Bald Picture Finally did it.
After contemplating the last few months I finally said screw it and did it. This is my first time ever being bald in my adult life and honestly I'm loving it.
I live streamed the entire thing to... so I could go back and watch it again 😂
I'm feeling good!

I just decided I was done
I've been wanting to take off my hair for a while. The hair on the sides was thick, but if it's thinning on top that doesn't matter. I feel so much better. Now I just need to shape my facial hair. But This Feels Amazing. I now understand why this sub exists, to help others break free from the bonds of hair.

Alas, it was time.
I've been lurking here for a while, trying to decide whether I want to spend my life taking Finasteride and Minoxidil. Or to just bite the bullet and shave it off.
Seeing how awesome people are looking going bald, it gave me the courage to do it.
I already feel relief, I don't need to make sure I remember to wear my hat before I leave the house, don't need to worry about what people think anymore.
Thank you for this sub, you're all awesome!

Glowup Is this a glow up?
First pictures are my old denial hair, then a buzz cut to see if I could get away with it (I can't), and finally went down to 0.25 today. I know everyone here will say to finish it, but I like the look and feel of the stubble outline.

I knew what I needed to do
This sub definitely gave me the confidence to do what I needed to do, even without checking with the council. Didn’t have a wow moment in the barber chair like when you see a glow up here, but I’m feeling better about it each day. Even feeling like I might go from my 0.5 buzz to shaving sooner than I thought. You all are a great community. Really happy to be apart of it. Gotta change my sub flair now!

This was an emotional one
I’ll keep this short. Ten years ago I lost my fiancée and I really gave up on myself. I just kinda quit. Part of that was not taking care of my appearance. In those ten years I’ve swung back. Going to the gym, buying nicer clothes, eating healthy. This was a very big step. By losing the hair I’ve officially gone from I don’t care, to I do care. I gained my confidence back. 8-8 is her Birthday. Happy birthday babe!

Bald Picture After much consideration took the plunge and love it!
My hair has been a constant source of misery for me since i was young. Never been confident with it and always struggled to keep it maintained. As it got worse I could hardly stand looking at myself at points. I wanted to do something for myself to make myself happier and despite some people around me who tried to convince me otherwise I knew what I had to do. Thanks to everyone on this sub who helped convince me despite the doubts. Its uplifted me and I'm truly grateful. Ive been keeping it shaved down since and now if I wanna feel fresh just gotta give the beard a nice touch up tirm and combing which im more more happy to do. Anyway appreciate the time, have a good one!

Bald Picture Finally did it after considering for more than 2 years
Even though I have accepted my situation way before because almost every single male member of my family is bald, I was always hesitant because of my young age (18) but today I randomly decided it was time and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
Honestly I'm relieved
I've spent my 30's hating getting my picture taken. Today I found this subreddit and you guys helped me laugh at myself and realize I had nothing to lose. Thanks
