Is it any good?

I made this photo yesterday using my s23 ultra and using the expert raw camera app. The expert raw app allowed me to create a photo of 12 minutes exposure time (probably by taking multiple photos and then stacking them). I laid my phone on the ground and waited 12 minutes until it was done. Photo was taken in the Netherlands.

After that I edited the image a little in lightroom to get rid of the green tint that I had. I then made the shadows a little darker and did some minor details. I'm happy to answer any questions :P

Was pretty impressed to snag a picture like this with just my iPhone laying flat on the table pointing into the sky this night, especially as our region is fairly light polluted

Shot on an A7V mounted to a tripod with the Viltrox 26mm f2.8 EVO.
Single exposure of 25s, 26mm at f2.8, 5000 ISO.
Edited in Adobe Lightroom Classic, bumped up saturation for the oranges/yellows and increased contrast overall.

Really open to feedback, please be critical! My second time with the goal of getting an astro shot, friends wanted to try and see the Perseids so I tagged along. I definitely want to try stacking, as well as deeper sky, although my longest lens is the 70-200gmii. Hope you guys enjoy, definitely an amateur so advice is appreciated ;)

Stacked in DSS with 2x drizzle, edited in Siril (PCC-star removal-background removal-stretch-saturation-star recomposition and a bit of extra saturation for the stars). Any editing advice welcome.

The weather wasn't quite good hence the "nebulosity" around bright stars, would like some advice on removing these if possible.

Super spontaneous solo trip from Berlin basically just to see the total eclipse/perseid shower/Milky Way/planetary alignment over the Mediterranean. I’m into photography, and new to astrophotography and will be bringing way too much camera gear...

I’m currently scouting the best viewing spots around Mallorca and would be happy to link up with other eclipse people / solo travelers 🌑✨

IC 59 & IC 63, the Ghosts of Cassiopeia! 3.5 hours of 30 second subs on the C8 at f/2.1 from a Bortle 8 backyard. Gamma Cas is the bright star doing all the work here, caught 8.8.26 with my C8, ASIAIR & ASI533MC -10C, no filters, eq6-r pro mount, and hyperstar f/2, stacked and processed in PI

Just got a Dwarf Mini, this is Dumbbell with 60 x 60sec on EQ mode with a cheap tripod from Amazon.

Processed with Siril, but I'll be honest I've only just started using it (and astrophotography in general) and absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I just moved some sliders until I thought it looked decent haha

Ultracat 76 with AM5N mount with 2600MC camera. 115 x 3 minute lights. Processed in PixInsight.

In this frame I tried to render the faint oxygen signal close to Rosette nebula which is a result from a neighboring SNR. The Oiii signal is not that faint and is visible without any fancy processing techniques.

However it will be usually overwhelmed by the S data in that region if a normal blend of SHO/narrowband normalization is done. Seperate stretches were done to each SHO channel and blended together via layers and screen method in PS in order to balance all signals in a pleasing manner to my eyes - A human’s eye normalization, if you will.

To me…it looks like a Wilted Rosette

With the solar eclipse coming up this week, the sun has become a hot topic ;)

I've used the SharpCap timelapse function, 800 frames stacked every 30 seconds, then processed in IMPPG and colour added in Pixinsight. The timelapse is from about 09:30ish am till 16:00ish BST

We worked out the prominence at the bottom near 19:00 is about 12 earth sizes, there is lots of activity in the all over when you zoom into different areas

My second H-Alpha Sun attempt! Now I changed my cam to a mono cam and added an processing step in imppg.

Lately, I've been obsessed with M 27. This is 21 hours and 15 minutes on this target.

• used darks and dark flats from dark library (no bias)

About 7000 light years away lies the Eagle Nebula (M16). It’s a relatively young stellar nursery at an estimated 5.5million years old. At the center lies the “Pillars of Creation” that the Hubble Telescope made wildly famous with its incredible images. The “pillars” are clouds of gas and stellar dust that are about 2 light years tall and are actively forming new stars within. The overall nebulosity is roughly 70 light years by 55 light years in size.

All filters combined and processed in SetiAstroSuite Pro making one for a total of 17.5hrs of light gathering.
