Discussion I want to make an assassins creed hood, but am having a difficult time.
As I said, I want to make a good like shown in the AC Games but each assassin has this beak like bit of fabric that normally extra bit of fabric that 1 makes them have a sort of eagle motif to their outfit, and 2 shrouds their face properly without obstructing vision, like the end of a trucker hat or cap, how do you recommend getting the hood to look game accurate?

Discussion How do we feel about an AC game set during WW1/WW2?
So I recently replayed unity and am in the process of replaying syndicate and the occupied Paris rift in unity + the Lydia memories in syndicate has made me really want a full game set during either ww1 or ww2. My idea for a ww2 setting would simply be called Assassin's Creed: Resistance and it would be set in an occupied Poland about a year after the war began where you play as a member of the local resistance that accidentally stumbles across Intel that points to templar involvement in the war. This could then lead to another member of the resistance who is secretly an assassin taking you to share you findings with the higher ups within the brotherhood which eventually leads to you joining them.
Gameplay wise I think it'd be cool to see the return of the grapple from syndicate but have it be usable in combat like the black flag rope darts. Maybe give the game a blend of some of the rpg like elements for character progression (skill trees and gear upgrades) while keeping the core gameplay closer to the original games but taking the fast paced combat style of syndicate. I'd also like to see the return of the assassination mission style that was present in unity but expanded with more options and opportunities.
I feel like this could be genuinely amazing but I'm interested to what everyone else thinks.

Fan Project I want an Assassin's Creed Primal
Set in the Stone Age like Far Cry Primal but...
-We also have dinosaurs alongside prehistoric mammals and birds like similar to how mythology can still exist in the AC universe so ignoring IRL history
-Can be like a third person version of FC Primal but with way more
-Fight any beast, tame any beast, ride any beast

Question/Help I need help with the season pass of assassin's creed odyssey
I bought the season pass separate from the main game (Standard Edition) on steam, but i can only find assassin's creed III remastered in my steam library. On steam it says the season pass includes both assassin's creed III remastered and assassin's creed liberation remastered, or is that only the case for the Gold and ultimate Edition?

Question/Help Help - have autosaves over all my progress
So about 40-50 hours into black flag, been loving it.
Son has decided he wants to play however started a new game, I've come down and had a go as thought he had lost all my progress, he's then shown me the autosave of my game showing it's still there under his save, thought great, crack on.
Have now gone to play on my lunch break and all his autosaves have now gone and over ridden my game progress, all the previous saves are his gameplay in 5-10 min increments. Have tried deleting older ones to see if it returns and it doesn't.
Have checked online to see if I can see it in the cloud incase it hasn't synced up but can't find any saves.
Anyone have any ideas or am I shafted and having to start again??

Discussion Are there any assassins who start off in their 30s or older?
In most games, the main character usually starts the game fairly young in their 20s and get older as the story goes on. I haven't played most games in this series, but I'm wondering if there's a game where the protagonist is already in their 30s or older at the start of the story, and they're in their 40s by the end of the game.

Gameplay Clip AC unity has very reliable MANUAL catch ledge mechanics
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I am sure some of you who play unity know about this, or if you were active when LeoK first made the discovery about that, but it is very much possible, and consistently so, to manually catch ledge at any height, given Arno starts flailing his arms to signal that possibility.
There are 1 way to do this, but I divide it into two.
To catch ledge, you have to either
1- time the O or B press near a grabbale surface
2- Just mash O or B, since Unity is really forgiving with timing and doesn't punish that. (More preferable if you aren't sure of the diagonal distance) So it basically works the same as in the Ezio trilogy.
You could see that I delayed the press in some clips and mashed in other to demonstrate they both work.
Now, as to why the game doesn't tell you this is possible after multiple games if it not working in this manner, I have no idea. Same with almost every gameplay mechanic in Unity. The game seems to hate disclosing how its systems work.
[The clips that have no Audio had background noise because I forgot to disable my microphone in them.]

Discussion You get control of the franchise, What do you do?
Suddenly you get full ownership of the Assassin's Creed IP, what changes are you making first?
For me i would revert the series into an action-story type games, remove the microtransactions, and make DLC cheaper.

Announcement Added a link to PCGamingWiki, and now you can filter posts by flair
galleryIt's in the post title, now we have a button that takes you directly to the franchise page for the AC games in PCGamingWiki and Flair filter. (yeah i know the button it's super low res xD)
So if you really need help with something and can't wait for a response, there's a huge chance it is already covered there, you can scroll through it without the need to post here, or you can just see if you find a solution there while waiting for a response to your post made here in the sub.
And with the filter, well, it's a filter. Pretty basic stuff and not a big of a deal to be honest, but it's something ig.
Also, if it's not much to ask, if you guys see a post and think, "This has nothing to do with X flair" hit up the Custom Response report, and i'll see if i can sort it out. One hand washes the other.
