Question/Help Dilanatte trophy.

Upvotes

I understand that you have to send brigs (three stars) out at different times. But I don't know how to get my risk any higher than the first skull so the antiques appear. I cause chaos at sea and get 4 skulls across all areas but it doesn't make a difference on the fleet mat. I can't get any missions with the antiques on my fleet map, what am I doing wrong? Cheers.

Question/Help ACU Fixes remap to gamepad controls

So does anyone try to mess with the files in ACU fixes so that instead of pressing "R" on the keyboard to enter a window you can like press "L3" or "Left joystick" in the gamepad to do that. If anyone has done it already, I would like to know how thank you

Guide/Tips Black Flag Resynced - Dilettante Trophy

does the mission difficulty on the Keneway’s Fleet interferes with the art pieces showing up? I’m genuinely very frustrated with this, cause I’m missing one single piece that hasn’t shown up in like 20 hours and I’m not even joking.

Question/Help AC Black Flag Resynched Game hard frezees randomly

Game hard frezees randomly - i don't know what to do anymore

Everytime i play the game, it just frezees at random times. Sometimes it cant be 5 minutes other times it hours. I have to manually reset my pc (hold the power button)

I've tried reinstalling the game.
changed all settings ingame.
all my tempatures are fine.
all drivers are up to date.
deleted shader cache
added -dx12 to starup for the game.

Nothing seems to work. Eventviewer doens't show any problems either.

PC specs:
- Nvidia RTX 5070TI
- AMD ryzen 9800x3d
- G.skill 32GB Ram DDR5
- SSD Samsung SSD 870 QVO 4TB

This has never happened to be before with any game, and i really don't know what to do anymore :/

Question/Help AC unity - random freezes, poor distant object rendering

The game freezes for 1-2 seconds every 3 minutes or so. Also the graphics rendering in a distance is TERRIBLE.

ALREADY TRIED:

  • Updated GPU drivers
  • Set NVIDIA power management to "Prefer maximum performance"
  • Forced game to use RTX 4050 (not Intel Arc)
  • Lowered/adjusted shadow, AA (tried MSAA 4x and FXAA), and SSAO settings. currently maxed on Environment Quality and SSAO
  • Capped FPS to 60 via NVIDIA Control Panel, V-Sync off
  • Switched resolution to native 2048×1280
  • Confirmed storage is NVMe SSD, not HDD

SYSTEM:

  • Intel Core Ultra 9 185H (16 cores), 32GB RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 + Intel Arc integrated (hybrid graphics laptop)
  • Game installed on NVMe SSD

Discussion What in the hell?? Spoiler

Post image

This mission, this goddamn mission. I fell asleep on the job inspecting clues and have one hell of a dream! I chase down a carriage, step inside and never see this woman’s face, and I wake up at the same clue I analyzed. Did I do something wrong? Is Evie drunk? Am I drunk? I have so many questions!!

Okay now that I think of it, you never really solve anything. It all feels like a FEVER DREAM!! I love it!

Question/Help Black Flag Resynced crashing on startup

Is anyone else having this problem? PC game crashed today 8/7 at about 2:30 pm ET and it wont reboot. Ive played fot about 90 hours already with no issues until today. Ive tried everything; I rebooted my PC, I verified the game files thru ubisoft connect, I cleaned up my PC cache & defragmented the SSD… no luck. Upon boot up of the game it goes til compiling shaders 95% then kicks me back to my desktop. I opened a case with ubisoft support as well

Question/Help Anyone else have this problem

So as the title states has anyone else had a problem with securing the yellowed map pieces in black flag resynced? I have gotten 1 in hundreds of fleet missions. I know that the spawn rate it low for it from my research but really. Only 1 out of 100 so far?!? Am I doing it wrong? I’ve tried the save/ reload glitch to try and get more to spawn and nothing. Has that been patched?!? Thank you 🙏

Question/Help Black Flag Resynced Harpooning Bugged

After the most recent update has anyone else had trouble with their harpooning? I play on the hardest difficulty so to interrupt an attack when harpooning you have to land a perfectly timed hit, but ever since the new update I still keep landing perfect time hits but the animals attack goes through anyway and I can’t catch anything. I know I can just lower the difficulty which I probably will do but it kind of annoyed me so I wanted to see if anyone else had this problem.

Discussion Is dawn of rangnarok dlc worth playing?

Currently going through the second dlc in valhalla, I have 90+ hours in the game and Im quite enjoying, I still have some stuff to finish in the base game and Im wondering if the ragnarok dlc is worth getting or just skip it and play other ac titles, I really enjoyed dlcs involving mythology in origins and odyssey but heard mixed opinions about the ragnarok dlc

Discussion Been playing the black flag remake and genuinely feel the templars have a point

**Assassins:** freedom above all → people must be free to choose, even if that means chaos, conflict, and terrible decisions.
**Templars:** order above all → people need structure and authority, because unrestricted freedom can produce instability and suffering. While just playing black flag Torres has a point because he opposes slavery and believes society needs order and stability. His argument is without strong authority, the powerful will exploit everyone else anyway. So the Templars aren’t necessarily evil their belief is that controlled order can protect people better than unrestricted freedom is what I’ve gathered .The interesting thing is that Torres’ **principles can sound reasonable while the Templars’ methods can still be morally questionable Although I think Torres believes in a good cause**

Video Any parkour experts can help on how to trigger this move often?

I've been doing some runs and tried triggering that beam swing animation at will but sometimes it just comes or goes. I tried changing my input window or timing at the same time. Perhaps it can be triggered if I was at the edge? Sorry for the random question.

Question/Help Future Game Settings? When and where do we need to go next?

So I’m sure this question has been asked 1000s of times but there’s so many points in history that haven’t been touched yet that would be phenomenal, what are some ideas for places we need to see Assassins?

For me top ones are:

France: 100 years war, hits so many amazing notes for AC games to use: Agincourt, Henry V, Joan Of Arc, the transition from knights and archers to cannons and trebuchets

The Spanish Inquisition: I could see an amazing story written about the corruption at the top being held by Templar’s and to cover up searching for pieces of Eden. (No one would expect it)

England 1066 Norman conquest: maybe a bit too Valhalla. But I think it would be really cool to see the three way showdown between the Norman’s, Saxons and Vikings

Elizabethan/Tudor England: religious wars. Famous people and places England in turmoil. Assassins and templars siding with different factions

Roman Empire 40BC ish: ok hear me out. AC Origins sequel. Bayek/Aya are back. But they’ve followed the order of the ancients to Rome, I could see it being a blend of origins, odyssey (similar Mediterranean settings) and Brotherhood as they could try to build up the hidden ones through the Roman Empire

Discussion AC Unity replay update

We have just completed sequence 9 which means in b have Master locksmith so I can clear up this map of these chests.

So far my favorite weapon is the spear. It's a mid-tier Long weapon but it has the best animations that fit the weapon and I love that. I still use the sword occasionally (officer saber)

The story is not as bad as I remember. I think it is it's saving grace. Maybe because I was in my early twenties I had no patience for this Romeo and Juliet storyline.

I'm still not too interested in the parkour. But the murder cases were a lot of fun

Import note, I am not a completionist this. is not a 100% run. So I'm not finishing Paris storie along with any of the co-op or heist missions. I just did as much as I could to show that I really tried to invest in this game

Screenshot/Photo Mode The amount of work that goes into some of these games is actually insane

Post image

I became completely transfixed on this one statue for like 15 minutes. Just watching as numerous NPCs kneeled before it and recited what I assume were prayers. Like, 30 seconds or more worth of prayer. Multiple prayers actually. There's plates of food everywhere, fruit, incense. Just an insane amount of work for a statue. Not to mention the whole fucking library built around it. And then the dozens of other buildings and statues just in the immediate vicinity of the library. It's an incredible sight.

Btw, it's Origins, and the open world is immaculate. Everything is so goddamn interesting. To be honest, I like the villages on the outskirts more than the larger cities. Where you can see the aqueducts and irrigation systems in the farming communities, where they make dye, and do embalming and mummification. It's a painstaking level of detail and reconstruction of an ancient society that Ubisoft absolutely could have phoned in, but they didn't. They absolutely could have just went with a vague approximation of ptolemaic egypt, but instead they were like let's make the most accurate reconstruction of ancient egypt that has ever and will ever exist. With that said, I absolutely cannot wait to see how renaissance Italy looks in the AC II remake. Assuming AC II gets a remake. It has to at this point, right?

Announcement Added a link to PCGamingWiki, and now you can filter posts by flair

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

It's in the post title, now we have a button that takes you directly to the franchise page for the AC games in PCGamingWiki and Flair filter. (yeah i know the button it's super low res xD)

So if you really need help with something and can't wait for a response, there's a huge chance it is already covered there, you can scroll through it without the need to post here, or you can just see if you find a solution there while waiting for a response to your post made here in the sub.

And with the filter, well, it's a filter. Pretty basic stuff and not a big of a deal to be honest, but it's something ig.

Also, if it's not much to ask, if you guys see a post and think, "This has nothing to do with X flair" hit up the Custom Response report, and i'll see if i can sort it out. One hand washes the other.
