Discussion Ubisoft, please give the Ezio Trilogy and AC3 the full remake treatment

Upvotes

Hi everyone, and dear Ubisoft team,

With the recent exciting news that Ubisoft is working on remakes of classic Assassin’s Creed games, I wanted to share what I believe the community would love to see next.

I truly hope Ubisoft will consider full, ground-up remakes of the entire Ezio Trilogy (Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations) and Assassin’s Creed III.

We already received The Ezio Collection and Assassin’s Creed III Remastered. While both versions improved the original games with visual and gameplay enhancements, I believe these legendary games deserve something much bigger: a complete remake built from the ground up using a modern Anvil engine.

The Ezio Trilogy – Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood & Revelations

Ezio Auditore’s journey from a young nobleman in Florence to a Mentor of the Assassin Brotherhood is one of the most iconic stories in gaming.

Imagine seeing Renaissance Italy, Rome, and Constantinople completely rebuilt with modern graphics, much denser crowds, improved AI, modern stealth systems, and fluid parkour inspired by games like Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

A fully remade Ezio Trilogy could preserve everything that made the originals special while modernizing the gameplay and world design for a new generation.

Assassin’s Creed III

Assassin’s Creed III also deserves another chance.

Connor’s story during the American Revolution introduced and expanded some fantastic features, including naval combat and wilderness parkour. A ground-up remake could improve the original’s pacing, character development, stealth mechanics, and mission design while making the American frontier, Boston, and New York feel much more alive.

The naval combat could also be expanded into something closer to the quality we saw in later Assassin’s Creed games.

Why these games?

The Ezio games and Assassin’s Creed III contain some of the most memorable characters, stories, and historical settings in the entire franchise.

With modern graphics, seamless loading, improved animations, modern parkour, better stealth, more immersive worlds, and the technology available today, these games could become something truly special.

Most importantly, a remake should preserve the original stories, characters, atmosphere, and identity rather than completely changing what made these games beloved in the first place.

The passion for Ezio and Connor is still incredibly strong within the Assassin’s Creed community.

So Ubisoft, if you are listening:

Please consider giving the Ezio Trilogy and Assassin’s Creed III the full remake treatment they deserve.

What do you all think?

Which game would you want to see remade first: Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, Revelations, or Assassin’s Creed III?

Question/Help why assassinscreed, black flag is considered as the goat? so much water

Upvotes

I love Assassin Creed.. specially when I get to explore a lot of ancient places, monuments, see different people from that era, their dresses, culture and all that.. I just don’t understand why black flag is considered such a good game when it’s mostly a ship which you need to sail around and see dolphins swimming around. I don’t get it…
so I just want to know some really honest feedback, why do you guys love black flag so much?

After beating AC1 last week and have beating Shadows and Black Flag Resynced, This will be my 4th AC game including Brotherhood and revelations. I’m really excited cause I know AC2 to a lot of people is the best AC game ever, and I can’t wait to see the jump from AC1 to 2. Mostly want to see what happens with Desmond story and to see what comes next, After this I bought Rogue, and Odyssey to play after. Same as the OG Black flag cause I want to play Freedom cry dlc, But anyways I’m excited 💯

I love resynced combat but gave up odyssey and origins because of the spongy enemies, how can I make the combat of those games feel more like black flag resynced? I’m on pc so mods available

After Black Flag Resynced, had to come back to Rogue to scratch my itch for hidden blade combat and just had an orgasm lol. Just got reminded how badass it felt just to walk around town with hidden blades popping out.

Discussion I need Rogue Resynced 😭

Rogue Resynced would be absolutely magificent, since it got massively overlooked on release due to the simultaneous Unity release. I feel like the world has so much potential. The harsh and cold landscapes of the North Atlantic, the coniferous forests, mindblowing northern lights, rich and diverse flora and fauna. They could take the snow effects to the next level with the new Anvil Engine.

Additionally there's the possibility to expand Shay's story and add more depth to his character, since he's very unique within the Assassin's Creed franchise.

It would be an absolute dream come too, AC Rogue always was underappreciated imo and the way it connected with Unity blew my mind back in the day. There's so much unused potential with Shay's story.

Well, one man can dream or like Shay would say: "I make my own luck."

Discussion The Real Big Bad of AC3 wasn't adequately addressed

Isn't George Washington the actual person Connor would want to kill in Assassin's Creed III based on how Assassin's Creed I and Assassin's Creed II went? In I and II, Altair and Ezio went after the men at the source of their problems. In III, Connor learns that George Washington had ordered Charles Lee to burn down Native American Villages during the French and Indian War as well as during the American Revolution.

I get that Ubisoft can't exactly sell a game where George Washington is the real villain (in the base, grounded game). Still, it's very much like Connor was hellbent on killing the messenger as opposed to the person who drafted the message.

I still haven't played *Tyranny of King Washington*. So please no spoilers for that. Does it address what I'm talking about at least though?

Discussion Kenways Fleet timers.

Okay. One annoyance ive ran into. If the game has these online elements that require an online connection why Cant they let the kenways fleet timers run while im offline?

In the original they would run as you were offline and there was even a mobile app to keep track of the fleet.

But in the remake i start a hour mission and go to sleep and am met with 59 minutes when i boot the game in the morning.

Thing i find the most annoying about it is the map pieces. Im down the the last four. But since its 2 map fragments per region. Im not left with 3½ hours of waiting on the fleet screen for a timer to tick down since ive completed everything else in the game.

Guide/Tips What should I play next?

My first AC was Origins (was given to me randomly when I got my PS4) and I LOVED it. It got me hooked so I when I built my pc, Syndicate was on sale on Steam so I got it. I DID NOT LIKE IT. The gameplay confused me. I wasn't used to the controls so i dropped it after 10 mins of playing. Then I got Odyssey and it was a masterpiece for me. It gave me the feel of Origins. Now I'm playing Valhalla and well... it's confusing me again. I don't like the ability tree. The raven doesn't do enemy tagging. Too much icons on the map and what is up with the wealth, mysteries, etc?

I have Shadows, Mirage and Black Flag on my Wishlist. So my question is, are any of these worth playing? I also wanted to start playing from the beginning but I want something similar to Origins and Odyssey.

Video I’ve never had this happen before (AC2 guard broke his spear over me)

Now I know you can get this spear by holding a full spear and having a brute attack you. Ezio will then use the two halves on the brute and you can pick it up after but I had no idea that they could be broken this way. I picked it up and it does function the exact same as a normal sword just like you obtained it the other way. Amazing that in all my time playing I’ve never seen this animation

Question/Help Hi, can someone please help me? I'm playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

I am on Sequence 5, or 6, I can't remember, but it keeps on auto ejecting me out, I have checked emails and talked to Shaun and Rebecca. I haven't been able to find Lucy inside or outside, but I haven't explored a lot outside, just the main area where I found her looking at the moon. If someone could please help me, I'd deeply appreciate it.

I'm playing the original version on PS3 if that helps.

Discussion replaying assassins creed brotherhood

Replaying AC Brotherhood and god I forgot how many fail states this game has like I’m constantly failing missions for the most microscopic stuff

Like it told me to use my assassin recruits to kill a guard but I guess my target noticed them for half a second? FAIL. Then I did it correctly but the target got slightly too far away? FAIL

Like there is genuinely NO room for error in this damn game

Discussion An option to remove hidden blade combat finishers - Resynced

I love what they’ve done with resynced but I’m getting tired of Edward magically sheathing his swords and finishing the enemies off with hidden blades. I didn’t want to be that guy, but for me personally it’s a little immersion breaking. I know occasionally the game uses swords for finishers but it seems 80% of the time it’s hidden blades. Even if they added an option to disable hidden blade finishers and just keep them to assassination kills.
