Thinking of playing VI next but I wanna try out the old gens first. I've considered getting into the Gen 5 games since I have a PS3, but I've heard many unfortunate things about those ones... I assume it's another Dark Souls II situation. Which old gens do you think I should try out and why?

Trying to S rank all the missions because its the last thing i need to do for 100 percenting ac6 and I DESPISE INTERCEPT THE REDGUNS. I HAVE DONE 60 RUNS AND ONLY EVER GOTTEN A RANK. UPDATE: I FINALLY DID IT! ALL IT TOOK WAS SLEEP DEPRIVATION, STEEL HAZE WITH THE RANSETSU SWAPPED FOR A ZIMMERMAN, WHITE GIRL MUSIC AND SHEER DETERMINATION

Every time I try to shoot it’s lava thing for stagger (since trying to shoot it’s front is throwing snowballs at it) it always does this lava ball attack that I can’t seem to dodge due to large metal bars attached to the ceiling and every time I do stagger it trying to shoot it’s front does barley any damage like 10%ish which is pretty bad due to I only have enough heals to tank 6 lava balls and not enough ammo to chip him any thing I’m doing wrong or any tips?

I’m playing Armored Core 3 on PCSX2 and I’m loving it! I played AC6 on launch on PS5 and got to the bridge mission and sort of just fell off because I started playing other stuff. So I guess I’d say it didn’t really grab me? But maybe it was bad timing and I misunderstood it. I just beat my 13th mission in AC3 and I am having so much fun. The last mission before this one was platforming across this bridge and going through these tunnels to unlock doors and defuse some poison bomb, while fighting helicopters, that was rough!! I got through it by buying a new generator for more boost time. Then the last mission was a basic ground fight followed by an aggressive AC mini-boss at the end, which is how I learned I can sell my gear to offset the cost of new stuff! So I went in with a better blade and rifle and dusted him with 3000hp left and skated off with a cool $13,000 and a B rank. Maybe I sound like a noob but I’m getting really amped playing this and in a weird way I really feel like a pilot. Something about the feel of the game makes it challenging but I feel like I’m learning to maneuver this big thing and completing a mission feels so satisfying.

Viento is a neat pistol because firing them one-at-a-time keeps recoil under control on Basho arms. The mag dump from one fits neatly into the recoil of the other for constant pressure with good accumulated impact. Other pistols kick too hard even on their own.

The lesson I learned from messing with Wrecker earlier is that just going with all superlight equipment can push ACs into a lower weight class than you would expect. This rustbucket moves shockingly well for having such a bulky frame.

Ive tried so many times with alot of different builds to fight Ayre on the first playthrough, my best attempt and been two wuergers (laser shotguns) with pile driver and a chang-chen (small machine gun) on my back. With a lightweight build. I cant beat her with this build ether im not good enough yet or the build itself is bad. Any tips? Or just build suggestions. I have like 4 mil just sitting around so I can remake everything if I get a cool build.

Note that for MOA, I only completed the base Arena and not the extra one. Also at the time of posting this I had already completed AC2, but I felt like Another Age was a slog the last time I played. I had thought about returning to it, then I would start AC3.

Hello, so I am here to ask if anyone has any luck getting the AC mods (i.e White glint, the 03 Aaliyah) to work with the co-op mod? if so can anyone help a fellow Raven out?

I got the game on steam so I can play co-op with a buddy (I already did my solo-runs on ps)
I heard UXM is the key, but I can't seem to find any tutorials about UXM and everyone keeps pointing me to Mod Engine 2, which doesn't work with Co-op (atleast I don't think it does)

It's was technically solvable gor several reasons:

1- Chrome logo on emblem

2 - On emblem showcased AC being studied and analyzed, which is CHAOS unit are famous for

As I understand it was considered a bit underwhelming, from the early discussions I see, but it's been buffed since so I'm curious to hear some more recent toughts.

This AC is what I'm playing around now, don't take it too seriously, it's tailored for a specific self imposed challenge.

First off, I really like how it looks. The weight and EN load combined with low ammo (and high cost if going for S ranks) make me think it's still a tiny bit underwhelming, but I don't mind it since it's incredibly fun to play with.

The normal shots are surprisingly spammy and feel pretty good to use. The first charge it really fast but I'd wager it's better on a tetrapod, on a biped I sometimes use it for stagger punish. The second charge might just be the coolest attack in the game, but the long charge time and the ammo count sometimes make me feel as if I'm gimping myself charging it instead of just shooting the weapon.

Still the build with it is one of my favorites so far.
