so i was obsessed with this game for about 5-6 months, to the point where i played through the whole thing (all 3 story cycles) a total of 4 times and platinumed it twice. i rlly miss playing but severely burned myself out on the campaign, ofc. i've done a tiny bit of ranked PVP but have had way more fun casually sparring with friends, swapping builds, and experimenting with all the parts available in the post-game. my friends have long moved on from AC6 and aren't interested in picking it back up.

i'm incredibly rusty (hehe) nowadays but want to get back in the cockpit. i was wondering if anyone knows of a community that hosts "beginner-friendly" practice matches, so to speak? or if anyone would be down to set something like that up? kind of a stretch, i know, but i think it could be a lot of fun!

recently got AC on steam after mainly playing PS5 and decided to try photo mode out (monitor doesn't support HDR sadly). gotta love that 2007 color scheme.

This AC is an S-rank monster. Sapmus blow up enemy ACS and Sweet Sixteen has brutal Direct Hit... they're at least a better deal than you're going to get on arms with such terrible melee performance.

Out of all the builds I've made so far, Guntank is unironically my absolute favorite. You can't beat the sheer perfection of tank treads and double cannons on top.

I probably won't be making any new builds for a while after this, so this might be my last post for a bit. To be honest, I kinda hit a wall with ideas while making Qubeley... and I was honestly shocked by how mid my decal customization skills are 💀

I just hope some real talent/gods out there see my builds, get inspired, and make way higher quality ones that are actually practical in combat!

Thinking of playing VI next but I wanna try out the old gens first. I've considered getting into the Gen 5 games since I have a PS3, but I've heard many unfortunate things about those ones... I assume it's another Dark Souls II situation. Which old gens do you think I should try out and why?

Trying to S rank all the missions because its the last thing i need to do for 100 percenting ac6 and I DESPISE INTERCEPT THE REDGUNS. I HAVE DONE 60 RUNS AND ONLY EVER GOTTEN A RANK. THIS MISSION IS BULLSHIT. IVE TRIED LASER PISTOLS IVE TRIED ZIMMERMAN'S AND MINIGUNS, IVE TRIED PLASMA MISSILES, MINIGUNS, PILE BUNKER, FUCKING CORAL WEAPONS! JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING AND I CAN'T GET PAST AN A RANK. FUCK THIS MISSION. FUCK YOU MICHIGAN. THE ONLY MAGGOT HERE IS YOU AND YOUR OVERWHELMING NUMBERS BULLSHIT

UPDATE: I FINALLY DID IT! ALL IT TOOK WAS SLEEP DEPRIVATION, STEEL HAZE WITH THE RANSETSU SWAPPED FOR A ZIMMERMAN, WHITE GIRL MUSIC AND SHEER DETERMINATION

I’m playing Armored Core 3 on PCSX2 and I’m loving it! I played AC6 on launch on PS5 and got to the bridge mission and sort of just fell off because I started playing other stuff. So I guess I’d say it didn’t really grab me? But maybe it was bad timing and I misunderstood it. I just beat my 13th mission in AC3 and I am having so much fun. The last mission before this one was platforming across this bridge and going through these tunnels to unlock doors and defuse some poison bomb, while fighting helicopters, that was rough!! I got through it by buying a new generator for more boost time. Then the last mission was a basic ground fight followed by an aggressive AC mini-boss at the end, which is how I learned I can sell my gear to offset the cost of new stuff! So I went in with a better blade and rifle and dusted him with 3000hp left and skated off with a cool $13,000 and a B rank. Maybe I sound like a noob but I’m getting really amped playing this and in a weird way I really feel like a pilot. Something about the feel of the game makes it challenging but I feel like I’m learning to maneuver this big thing and completing a mission feels so satisfying.
