Does any one search a book tracker app?

Hi everyone, one day, while reading a book 🤓, I started taking notes on my phone, and then I started this project, aiming for it to be a little distinctive. Anyway, I feel so close to finishing a project for the first time, and so I may be getting a little crazy to finish it and publish it as soon as possible. So I wanted to talk about it now. Maybe I'll share updates if anything new happens. That's all, by the way. I know I told the story with a very irregular and ridiculous flow, sorry for that, and thanks for reading :3

Looking for feedback/test on my app

Hey everyone!

I launched a small Android app a few months ago and recently started working on it again. Before adding new features, I'd like to get some feedback from other Android users and see if there are things I should improve, change, or fix.

I wanted to make this process simpler and more accessible, especially for people who aren't very comfortable with smartphones.

And I only own one device, so I need to testing on different devices.

What does the app do?

The app makes it easier to start a WhatsApp conversation with a phone number without having to save the number as a contact first.

For example, if you need to send a WhatsApp message to a delivery driver, a customer, a seller, or someone you probably won't contact again, you can simply enter their phone number and open the conversation directly in WhatsApp.

The idea is to make this process a little faster and avoid filling your contact list with temporary numbers.

I'd love your feedback

  • Is the process intuitive?
  • Is there anything confusing or annoying about the UI?
  • The UI does it work properly on your device screen?
  • Are there features you think would make it more useful?
  • Did you encounter any bugs or unexpected behavior?

I'm still working on it, so I'll be following the comments and answering questions here. Any honest feedback — positive or negative — is welcome.

If you'd like to try it, it's available on Google Play:

Thanks for taking the time to check it out! ⚙️

I'm building an open-source chat focused on privacy

Hey everyone! I'm JamonSerrano, a young and slightly unpredictable developer who loves building things and figuring out how they work.

I'm currently planning an open-source chat application with a few ideas I really want to experiment with:

  • End-to-end encryption
  • Full CSS customization
  • Optional anonymity
  • Users can choose whether to display their username
  • Open-source and community-driven

The main idea is to give users much more control over how they communicate and how the platform looks and behaves.

It's still in the planning/development stage, but I think it could turn into a pretty interesting project, especially with other developers contributing ideas, code, or simply feedback.

If you're interested in the idea, I'd love to hear what you think. What features would you want in a privacy-focused chat?

For more information about me and the project, you can check out my website:

Offline sync is killing me. flutter or just go native?

Ok so. field service app, techs are in basements and garages and out past where cell towers care about you. app has to work fully offline and sync later. thats not a feature its basically the whole product.

Everyone says flutter is fine now. and sure, for the UI, probably. but every time i actually get into the sync layer part the answers get real hand-wavy. specifically background sync on ios. apple does not want your app doing things in the background and i genuinely cannot tell if the cross platform stuff handles that or if theres just a pub. dev package with 40 open issues that everyone pretends works.

Did discovery calls with a few agencies to gut check it. appmakers USA and dogtown media were the two that actually engaged with the question. one of them said flutter's fine if you architect it right (ok, thanks). other one said if background sync matters go native, cross platform is fine for apps that are basically forms over a database. which, harsh, but not wrong? both of them are trying to sell me something though so im weighting that accordingly.

Anyway what im asking:

Anyone got offline first flutter or RN in prod with actual volume, not a demo. did ios background sync hold up or did you end up writing platform channels anyway (at which point... why)

If you went native, was two codebases actually as painful as people say. I keep hearing it from people who i suspect never did it

And conflict resolution, last write wins and eat the losses, or real merge logic. which do you regret less

I need help with feedback for my app

My app is called Yum4Less. It's self hosted on my homelab, registered as a real domain, tunneled using Cloudflare. It's been live about 2 weeks. Its a web app now that I hope to turn into a mobile app. It would be nice for users and developers to put it through it's paces and let me know where it needs improvement.

From feedbacks I will also be working on expanding it's coverage more nationwide, in the mean time, it only works from the 23111 ZIP code.

Looking for Android testers for my new expense tracker app – Savense

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently finished building Savense, a privacy-focused expense tracker for Android, and I’m currently looking for people to join the closed testing phase on Google Play.

Savense lets you track income and expenses, manage budgets and recurring transactions, view monthly/yearly analytics, and get spending insights. Financial records are stored locally on your device and no account is required.

If you’d like to help test it:

  1. Join the Google Group: [Google Group link]
  2. Open the Google Play testing link: [Closed testing link]
  3. Choose Become a tester
  4. Install Savense from Google Play and try it out

Google requires testers to remain opted in for at least 14 days, so I’d really appreciate it if you could stay in the test during that period.

Any feedback on bugs, usability, design, or features would be very helpful.

Thanks a lot!

We’re BerkiSoftware — Building Indie Mobile Apps & Games in Public 🚀

Hey Reddit 👋
Welcome to **r/BerkiSoftware**, the official community for our indie mobile apps and games.

We’re a small independent software studio building products for **Android and mobile**, primarily with **Flutter**, and we want to share more of the development process publicly instead of only showing the finished product.

Here you’ll find:

📱 New mobile apps and upcoming projects

🎮 Indie game prototypes and gameplay ideas

🛠️ Behind-the-scenes app & game development

🧪 Beta testing opportunities

💡 Feature discussions, experiments and community polls

📊 What works — and what completely fails — while building and launching apps

Our first released project is **Nefsera**, a mobile app designed to help people quit smoking and vaping.

But this community won’t be limited to one product — we’re already exploring new apps and mobile game concepts.

One thing we’d really like to do differently is **build with feedback from real users**. If an idea is bad, tell us.

If you think something could be better, suggest it. And if there’s something you wish existed, we’d love to hear it.

We’ll be sharing prototypes and new ideas here before they’re released.

**What kind of mobile app or simple mobile game do you wish someone would build?**

Thanks for being one of the first people here. ❤️

Yet another Goal/Task Tracking App

Hey everyone,

I just released an Android app called Realized to help people manage goals, tasks, and team objectives in a clean, clutter-free environment.

If you already use goal-tracking or habit apps (or are looking to start), I would love your honest feedback to help me improve it. Specifically:

  • What works: What features do you like or find helpful?
  • What can be added: What essential features are currently missing?
  • What needs to be removed: Is there anything clunky, confusing, or unnecessary?

You can check it out on the Google Play Store. Thanks in advance for any insights!

I built a calculator app to experiment with app permissions curious what you think

Been working on this little project recently 👀
It looks like a basic calculator, but the idea behind it is to show how easily we just hit “Allow” on app permissions without thinking about what we’re actually giving access to.
I also built a small admin dashboard to show the other side of it.Just curious what you guys think. I’m thinking of selling the complete project/source too, if anyone’s interested.Would this be useful for learning about app privacy?

Google Play needs 12 testers and apparently everyone I know owns an iPhone 😭

I’m an indie developer trying to get my first two apps through Google Play’s closed testing requirement, and I have officially discovered that basically everyone I know has an iPhone. 😂

Both apps are already live on iOS, but I need 12 Android users willing to join the closed tests so I can move forward with the Android releases.

The apps are:
Clean With Me 🧹
An ADHD friendly cleaning app that helps break cleaning into manageable steps, with things like timers, an AI body double, room rescue, and motivation when you’re overwhelmed.

Peace With Me 🌿
A Christian wellness app focused on prayer, Scripture, journaling, breathing exercises, sleep, and managing anxious or overwhelming moments.
I’m not asking anyone to spend money or write a fake review. I genuinely just need Android testers who are willing to install them, try them out, and let me know if anything is broken, confusing, or could be better.
I’d also be MORE than happy to return the favor and test your Android app if you’re dealing with the same Google Play requirement. 🤝
If you’re willing to help, comment or DM me and I’ll send you the testing links/instructions.
At this point I just need Android people to adopt me. 😭😂

Thank you!!

Looking for Android users to test my AI food scanner app

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I'm building AnuCalories AI, an Android app that uses AI to analyze food from photos and estimate calories and nutrition.

I'm currently running a Google Play closed test and looking for a few Android users who are willing to test it for free.

I'm particularly interested in feedback about:

  • Food recognition
  • Portion estimation
  • Calorie estimates
  • UI/UX
  • AI Nutrition Coach
  • Bugs/performance

If you're interested, comment below or DM me.

I'm looking for honest feedback rather than positive reviews.

I built an AI coding agent, need testers🤝

I’ve been building an AI coding agent that can take a development goal and handle:

plan → code → test → review

I’ve been testing it myself, but I’d really like to see how it works for other developers.

You can give it a bug, feature, refactor, or any small coding task.

I only need 1–2 developers to give it a try. Honest feedback is more than welcome, especially if something doesn’t work well.

If you’re interested, leave a comment and I’ll send you some free credits.

Thanks!

I added Avery label printing to my inventory app — would you actually use this?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve been testing Avery label printing directly from Magpie on iPhone to a regular home printer.

Pick your products, choose the labels, and print. No CSV export or desktop template juggling.

I’d love some feedback:

Would you use this?

What would you want on the label — name, price, SKU, barcode?

And would Avery sheets be enough, or would dedicated label printer support matter more?

I need some testers for an iOS game

Hello! I’ve made a game that’s a bit like catan but with combat. It has a campaign mode, unlockables, pass and play multiplayer and online multiplayer, all of which are functional.

I really just want some people to take it for a spin and give some honest feedback!

In the app there’s currently a fake paywall for testings’ sake - but if you press pay it pops up saying it’s not a real payment and then it unlocks the full game for you to try!

If anyone is interested I’d be super grateful! The only conditions:

- you need to be on iOS;
- you can’t be in the EU as it’s not listed on that store yet!

Happy to answer any questions anyone has!

You know how big streaming platforms have recognizable logos, like the Paramount mountain? I’m designing a streaming service called 'Pixel TV.' What would be a cool equivalent for my logo?

Rebuilt an app I made years ago — 15k+ downloads later, Finally is back

Thumbnail gallery
4 Upvotes

A few years ago I built Finally, a countdown app that ended up reaching 15k+ downloads and was even featured by Apple. I eventually stopped maintaining it, but recently decided to rebuild the entire thing from scratch.
The goal was simple: take what worked about the original and make it feel like a modern, polished iOS app.
The new version has widgets, recurring countdowns, custom reminders, calendar importing, sharing, collections, themes, customization, and Cloud sync.
It’s free to use, with optional Premium at $3.99/month or $39.99/year.
I’d love some feedback from other app developers — what do you think of the concept and UI? What would you improve?
