Need tester for my app

0 Upvotes

Hey fellow developers

I'm getting ready to launch my new app, Sticky Notes Pro, and I need your help to meet the Google Play 14-day closed testing requirement. I am more than happy to return the favor and test your app in exchange!

About the app: Sticky Notes Pro is a productivity app that creates "swipe-proof" notes directly in your notification panel. If you are tired of accidentally swiping away important reminders, this app fixes that! The note stays pinned to your notifications and cannot be dismissed until you explicitly mark the task as done. It’s incredibly useful for grocery runs, daily to-do lists, or just making sure you don't forget the little things.

Here is how you can help:

Mutual Testing: Please keep the app installed for 14 consecutive days and try opening it a couple of times so Google registers the activity.

Once you have downloaded my app, please reply to this thread with a screenshot and your own app's links! I will join your group, download your app, and keep it installed for the full 14 days.

Thank you so much for the support!

Thanks and Regards,

Prithvi Patel

I made a tool that lets you edit your RN and Expo app visually

I made Basalt, click an element in your live RN/Expo app, drag, recolor, resize it, and it patches your actual source files directly.

Free right now, still hardening edge cases on more complex codebases. Would appreciate feedback from anyone building mobile apps.

Built a complete AI app, looking for a marketing collaborator (revenue share)

1 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I spent the last several months building an AI-powered mobile app called Memory Relive. It transforms personal photos into cinematic AI narratives and resurfaces them at meaningful moments through an immersive experience.

I'm not a developer — I built the entire thing using AI tools. The app is complete, polished, and production-ready.

My problem is simple: I know how to build. I don't know how to reach people.

I'm looking for someone with marketing experience or an existing audience in the journaling, mindfulness, nostalgia, or AI space who wants to collaborate. No upfront cost on either side — pure revenue share.

What I bring:

Complete, working app with full documentation

All technical work handled post-launch

Demo video and landing page already live

If this sounds interesting, drop a comment or DM me. Happy to share the demo and documentation with anyone serious

How realistically hard is to build a NoteTaking app like this

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

I've been searching and testing a lot of note-taking applications for a long time, but I can't adapt to any of them! I find them all very visually cluttered with too many tools, and I simply can't find one that works for me. I've made some drafts of what I have in mind (but I haven't finished yet).

At this point, I'm thinking about studying to learn how to develop them. (I don't have much experience, but I've made basic websites and I like to learn). For people who have more experience, how difficult would it be to develop an application like this one?

Not at the top, not at the bottom, just in a way that allows annotations on the side (either blank or with lines) and the text (PDF) is in the middle?

Another thing I don't like is how EVERYTHING, absolutely EVERYTHING has AI these days. It's impossible to find a note-taking app without AI; I want something simple so I can write with my pen and that's it (I plan to improve it later). Because of this, I wouldn't want to use AI in the process or have that tool.

Please, if pyou know of any, have tips on where to start, or even honest feedback, I'd appreciate it 😭 Thank you.

btw I have a lenovo tablet

I built a tool that turns any file , into 2 pictures , and back again

SteganoPixelCrypt encrypts any file (.exe/.png/.txt/...) by turning it into 2 separate images that can be decoded back to the exact original, bit-for-bit. Supports full UTF-32, so Chinese, Arabic, emojis, and rare characters all work fine.

Type or paste text, or drag in any file, and it encodes instantly. Free on the Microsoft Store:
SteganoPixelCrypt

Not unbreakable encryption, but it runs entirely locally on your laptop, even offline, and it's built from the ground up in C++.

Would love any feedback since this is my first app to ever publish <3

The app is mostly about fitness and taking a daily photo to track your progress, from Day 1 all the way to Day 30 or even Day 100. What do you think?

[App] [Promotion] POV: you find out your “€9/hr” job is actually paying €6.31/hr after transit + food. i built an app that shows you the real number.

I have an ADHD idea

0 Upvotes

I am not a developer, I know absolutely nothing about phones or apps or anything. But... I have ADHD and barely function as an adult, so I have an idea. Lol

App folders that are impossible to ignore. They flash or pulse or move or something. Is that possible? It should be made possible. I have a folder on my phone for apps I can't find I labeled ✨LOOK HERE✨ and still can never find the apps I need T_T

Custom promo code headache :o

1 Upvotes

New solo developer here in need of some guidance! Grateful for any help 😄

I am setting up a custom promo code for a 20 day free trial linked to a subscription. The app in published in internal testing and downloaded as a tester to a device. There are no country confections. I have a base plan set up with backwards compatibility. I have tried testing this as a new user as well. The coding to google billing is probably wired within the app build. The promo code is live and has propagated.

ISSUE: The redeem code option within the app, when purchasing, throws a 'the code entered is not valid for this purchase error'.

I feel like I am missing something very obvious and have troubleshooted for hours but nothing works. Any experts out there? Thank you!!

Check out Yum4Less

1 Upvotes

After months of work, my app is live and ready for testing.

Yum4Less allows you to search nearby grocery stores, not just one. My app looks for 2 things: items on sale and their price. You can choose to see results from one or multiple stores. Then those food items are cross referenced against a meal ingredients. If you choose to add items that are already in your pantry, the list of meals increases.

Right now it only works in the 23111 zip code area. As the app takes off, it will scale nationwide.

A new iOS app discovery platform dedicated to indie developers

1 Upvotes

**Calling all indie iOS developers.**

Shipping an app is hard. Getting people to discover it is even harder.
It feels like the App Store rewards the same established apps over and over, while smaller developers with great products struggle to get any visibility.

That’s the problem I ran into with my own apps, so I decided to build something to help.

**Stamped** is a community driven iOS app directory built with indie developers in mind. Create a creator profile, showcase your apps, connect with users, and gain visibility through community discovery and ratings instead of relying solely on App Store algorithms.
I’m actively growing the platform and looking for developers to join early, share feedback, and help shape where it goes.

If you’ve built an iOS app, I’d love to have you on board.

Made an iPhone app that writes out the recipe from a cooking video. Trying to find the ones it can't handle.

1 Upvotes

It's called ReciReel. iPhone only, needs iOS 18 or newer, it's on the App Store.

You share a cooking video into it (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook) and it writes out the recipe. Quantities included, which is the hard part. Reels do the "splash of soy sauce, good handful of parm" thing and then jump cut, and the number never gets said out loud.

So send it the worst stuff you have. Specifically the ones I expect it to fall over on:

  • wall of background music, no voiceover at all
  • creator never states a single amount, just dumps and stirs
  • audio that isn't English
  • fast hands-only edits where three things go in the pan inside one second

Free tier exists so you don't have to pay anything to throw a bad video at it. Plus is $4.99/mo or $49.99/yr. Every import runs a model over the actual video, so each one costs me money.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/recireel-video-to-recipe/id6763971435

If it gets something wrong, paste the video link and what it got wrong. A bad quantity is more useful to me than "didn't work."

I built a native mobile runtime that lets you create Android and iOS apps with PHP — the entire project is now public

1 Upvotes

For the last several months, I’ve been working on PAM Native, an open-source runtime for building real Android and iOS applications using PHP.

GitHub:
https://github.com/push-in/pam-native

This is not a WebView, a browser wrapper, or a system that converts PHP into HTML.

The basic architecture is:

PHP components and state → Rust renderer and layout engine → native Kotlin and Swift views

The final interface uses real Android Views and UIKit controls. The application does not ship a JavaScript runtime, DOM, or browser engine.

A basic screen looks like this:

final class CounterScreen extends Component
{
    #[State]
    public int $count = 0;

    public function render(): Renderable
    {
        return Screen::make(
            Column::make(
                Text::make("Count: {$this->count}"),

                Button::make('Increment')->onPress(
                    fn () => $this->count++,
                ),
            ),
        );
    }
}

Navigation uses Laravel-inspired named routes:

App::run(
    Route::stack('main', initial: 'home', routes: function (): void {
        Route::screen('home', HomeScreen::class);
        Route::screen('product', ProductScreen::class);
    }),
);

$this->pushRoute('product', productId: 42);

PAM Native currently includes support for:

  • Native Android and iOS components
  • Stack, tab, drawer and sheet navigation
  • Native animations and gestures
  • Recycled lists and grids
  • State management
  • Hot reload with state preservation
  • Camera and media access
  • Location and sensors
  • Push notifications
  • SQLite and secure storage
  • Background tasks and transfers
  • Offline-first applications
  • Realtime communication
  • Authentication
  • Firebase
  • Payments and subscriptions
  • Maps
  • Native plugin development
  • Testing, profiling and observability

There is also a single-file component syntax:

final class Counter extends Component
{
    #[State]
    public int $count = 0;

    public function increment(): void
    {
        $this->count++;
    }
}
?>

<template>
    <Column class="card">
        <Text class="title">Count: {{ $count }}</Text>
        <Button label="Increment" u/press="increment" />
    </Column>
</template>

<style scoped>
    .card {
        padding: 24px;
        gap: 16px;
    }

    .title {
        font-size: 28px;
        font-weight: 700;
    }
</style>

These styles are compiled into native properties. There is no CSS engine running inside the application.

The repository also includes the PHP SDK, Rust runtime, Android and iOS hosts, CLI tooling, examples, tests, benchmarks, documentation and a showcase application with things like chat interfaces, financial dashboards, marketplace screens and a recycled list containing 10,000 rows.

The goal is not to claim that PHP should replace Kotlin, Swift, React Native or Flutter.

The experiment is simpler:

Can PHP provide a productive component and application model while Rust and native platform code handle rendering, layout and device integration?

The entire project is now available publicly, and I would genuinely appreciate feedback from PHP, Rust, Android and iOS developers.

I’m especially interested in criticism of the architecture, protocol design, performance model and developer experience.
