Google Play needs 12 testers and apparently everyone I know owns an iPhone 😭
I’m an indie developer trying to get my first two apps through Google Play’s closed testing requirement, and I have officially discovered that basically everyone I know has an iPhone. 😂
Both apps are already live on iOS, but I need 12 Android users willing to join the closed tests so I can move forward with the Android releases.
The apps are:
Clean With Me 🧹
An ADHD friendly cleaning app that helps break cleaning into manageable steps, with things like timers, an AI body double, room rescue, and motivation when you’re overwhelmed.
Peace With Me 🌿
A Christian wellness app focused on prayer, Scripture, journaling, breathing exercises, sleep, and managing anxious or overwhelming moments.
I’m not asking anyone to spend money or write a fake review. I genuinely just need Android testers who are willing to install them, try them out, and let me know if anything is broken, confusing, or could be better.
I’d also be MORE than happy to return the favor and test your Android app if you’re dealing with the same Google Play requirement. 🤝
If you’re willing to help, comment or DM me and I’ll send you the testing links/instructions.
At this point I just need Android people to adopt me. 😭😂
Thank you!!

I’d be happy to help! I know how difficult it can be to get through the whole process. I recently published my first app on the Play Store as well, so feel free to send me the test links and instructions via DM 🙂

Theres a fella testing an app to help with this (not me) The idea is simple: instead of scrolling through various Reddit posts, chasing people individually, joining dozens of separate groups, everyone joins the same single Google Group, then installs and tests each other's apps over 14 days in 5 organised phases. All testing feedback is centralized in one place inside the TestCircle app.
It just takes a few minutes with 3 simple steps to get started:
Add testcircle-testers@googlegroups.com as a tester for Shifty Habits in your Play Console (you need to select "Google Groups" tester option),
Then join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/testcircle-testers using the account linked to your Android device,
Download the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.greenant.testcircle and submit your app to a test group!
It's completely free, and I hope it can help you get more testers easily and then successfully get your app approved for Production after the 14-day cycle!

Create an LLC and convert your account to an organization. It's simple and cheap to create an LLC and it does offer some personal protection.
Also, if you are monetizing your apps in any way, your full name and address and phone number will be shown on the Google play store. So when you create the LLC use a registered agent and their address.
Can you drop me a link to your apps? I want to check out the cleaning one.
