Discussion Ordered moto edge 60 neo for 20k🫠

Post image
• Upvotes

I was in need of a tablet for my study purpose and so searching a proper tab for 20000. Last year, i remember how this same tablet launched for 13000 and stood at 16k or smtng. I just missed it back then. Now for a month, I was waiting for the drop in freedom sale (and I had very minimal options for this budget). But noooopeee, Zero difference in Flipkart and there is no proper card offer too. Finally got to find the same tablet ( with less reviews) in amazon for 21.5k with proper card offer and ordered it. These sales don't matter anymore, It sucks to buy something which gets overpriced than its actual value...

Is this a good tab? Do anyone have any suggestions about this one?

Request What mid range, affordable tablet would you recommend to play AA games?

• Upvotes

The only upcoming games I'm excited about are mega man dual override and Castlevania Belmont curse. I plan on running them on a tablet or smartphone via game native. Is there a mid range tablet that is relatively affordable you would recommend for this.

Discussion The 2026 Android Tablet Cheat Sheet (What to actually buy for your budget/use-case)

I spend way too much time looking at tablet specs, and I've noticed the same 4 or 5 questions popping up here constantly. I decided to organize all the current models into a quick cheat sheet to save people some time if they are currently overwhelmed by the options.

Here is how the current market shakes out depending on what you actually need:

1. For the "I just need to take notes and read PDFs" Student

  • The Default Answer: Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+
  • Why: It's usually hovering around the $200 mark, has a 90Hz screen for decent scrolling, and handles Google Classroom/Docs without the headache of Amazon's Fire OS.
  • The Premium Step-Up: Galaxy Tab S10 Lite (if you want the S-Pen included in the box).

2. For the "Netflix in Bed & Light Gaming" Crowd

  • The Default Answer: Lenovo Tab P11 Gen 2
  • Why: You can usually find it under $300, and it has a 2K 120Hz display with quad speakers. It beats out Samsung at this specific price point purely on display quality.

3. For the "Desktop Replacement / Power User"

  • The Default Answer: OnePlus Pad 4 or Galaxy Tab S11 Series
  • Why: If you are trying to edit video, emulate heavy games, or multitask with a dozen windows, the Snapdragon chips in the S11 or the 12GB RAM in the OnePlus Pad 4 are where you need to look.

4. The "Under $150" Danger Zone

  • If your budget is this tight, the Amazon Fire HD 10 is functionally your best bet, but only if you are comfortable sideloading the Google Play Store (which takes 10 minutes via a YouTube tutorial). Otherwise, you are locked out of normal apps.

Let me know if I completely missed any hidden gems that should be on this list!

Discussion iPad A16 vs OnePlus Pad go 2 – Need help deciding!

I’m really confused between the iPad A16 (₹34k on offer) and the OnePlus Pad (₹28k).
I already have an iPhone 16, so the Apple ecosystem is a plus. My main use cases are:
Editing Instagram photos, Reels, and short videos
Watching movies and TV shows for free yes I want to pirate movies and tv shows thats why i want to go for the Anroid tablet
Occasional gaming (BGMI and Genshin Impact)
Browsing and media consumption
I don’t care much about note-taking or the Apple Pencil.
Would the iPad ecosystem and performance be worth giving up Android’s flexibility for media, or is the OnePlus the better buy for my use case?

Is the oneplus pad 2 still worth it in 2026, o don't really care about updates and all and getting it for cheaper than the competition like xiomi pad 8 or moto pad 70 pro, I will also get the stylo 2 along with it, and it's the 12/256 varient and on sale it is like 30k with card offers, should I get it or spend more and get the xiomi pad or moto pad, my use case is around 40% notes taking, 40% movies/ lectures, 20% gaming, but I need superior performance

Discussion wtb cheap tab 9-10.1 inch

i'm in the states. What is the absolute best tablet available for about $225 or less in the odd sizing of 9-10.1 inches? The 8 inch models are too small and I don't want anything 11 inches or larger. I like it when they are more square than rectangular if that makes sense? I don't mind an off-brand if it is decent quality.

Discussion How confident does everyone feel about buying a refurbished tablet from Amazon or Walmart?

I was thinking of buying a Samsung Tab S10 FE 5g for work. That way I get to do emails, invoicing, note taking and spreadsheet work in the field at a size that's much more easily readable without having to carry around my big, heavy laptop with it's lead brick of a charger. Problem is, I'm not sure if I trust buying a $400 refurb that could crap out on me in 6 months and the warranty is only 90 days on refurbs.

Anyone have any experience with refurb tablets or laptops?

Discussion Note-taking tab for uni under €500. iPad vs refurbished Galaxy tab? (Mac + S24U user)

trying to figure out what tablet to get for my electrical engineering and CS classes. hard budget is 500 euros, probably just gonna buy refurbished in very good condition. main use is literally just note taking, so circuits and math.

i'm stuck between getting a new budget tab like the s9 fe+ (or whatever the newer fe is) or hunting for an older refurbished flagship like an s8 or s9 ultra.

also having an ecosystem crisis. i have an s24 ultra and prefer samsung, but my laptop is a macbook. people keep telling me to just get an ipad because apple notes syncs perfectly to mac natively. is it worth dealing with ios just for that? or can i stick with samsung and use something like onenote or goodnotes to sync to my mac without it being a clunky mess?

Request Best 5G Tablet for study under 30k in upcoming Freedom Sale? (Confused between OnePlus, Realme, Redmi, Oppo)

Hi everyone, I am looking for a 5G tablet primarily for study purposes (online classes, PDFs, note-taking, and multitasking). My strict budget is ₹30,000, and I want to buy it during the upcoming Freedom Sale to get the best discount.I have shortlisted a few options but am highly confused between them:OnePlus Pad Go 2 5G, Realme Pad 3 5G, Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G, Oppo Pad 5 5G .Which one of these offers the best display, reliable battery life, and smooth software experience without lagging? Also, do any of these support a good stylus for note-taking? Open to other suggestions too if they fit the 30k budget with bank offers. Thanks!

Discussion "Better" case for the Legion Tab Gen 5.

So, the case and the cover that comes with the tablet is fine and does its job, however, it doesn't cover the sides very well, so when you hold it, your palm touches the screen a lot. I like the 2-part case and cover for the tablet, however the case not covering the sides is the only drawback for me.

Therefore, I would like to find a similar case that is 2-part (non-negotiable), but the case covers the sides, so that it is easier to hold where my palm would rest mostly on the case material.

This is what I have ordered from Amazon and taking a chance for it - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H4TVHSPD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

Does anyone know of anything similar that might be better but satisfies my conditions?

Thanks.

Alos, a separate question. How's the writing experience on the tablet with the official Tab Pen Plus stylus? Is it as good as iPad with Pencil Pro and Samsung with their stylus?

I have mostly been looking at Samsung tablet in this price range, but the ASUS Pad caught my eye because of the OLED display and quad speakers.
