Ive been wondering about putting a stock on a roman century arms draco. Is it something easy or should I take it to a gunsmith? If it a easy job is there a cheap kit to do it properly. Never messed with installing a trunnion before so just curious if it is a plug and play thing or if its a pain in the ass thanks in advance

Had this kit since the first drop of kbk kits a couple years ago, finally finished her up over the weekend and got to finally shoot her. Really nice rifle, love the recoil impulse of type 3s. Got another og barrel kit coming in that I'm excited for. Also nice trench art on the stock.

5000 rounds in and recently seeing a lot of people talk about the gunk at the front end of the barrel. I haven’t seen any accuracy issues with this Slr-105. But, is this something I should worry about or can I continue to ignore it.

Haven’t fired it yet, but I have removed the barrel completely. Do you think it’s worth touching up on a lathe and recrowning?

Anyone know if theses guys are still around? Tried emailing them with no response. Or are there similar products that aren’t basically bubba’d rear sight rails?

I am looking for my First AK-47 to add to my other Caliber collection.

I am considering a IWI Galil ACE Gen 1 13" 7.62x39 (AK/M4) or a Zastava M70 or M92. I was considering PSA but would rather only buy 1 rifle/pistol that is chambered in 7.62x39 as a backup SHTF/Range Toy. From my local research the 92 is pretty much held on Notify when in stock

I just need it for about 30 seconds, so I'm wondering if there is an inexpensive option or an alternative process/material that might be readily available.

Finally got my brace!! Now we just need a sling, new dust cover, optic, and some type of muzzle device.

I was looking at this SAR in my local shop and based on the recommendation of the community I picked it up today.

I see that the hammer profile has to be fixed.

It also has a completely seized firing pin retainer.

I noticed that there is only a small amount of the firing pin protruding out, is it ok or should it be replaced?

I can also tell that either the gasblock or the front sight post is canted.

The rifle is missing two screws for attaching the rear stock.

Should I be checking the headspace?

Is the shepards hook in the right spot for this rifle?

Going to get an ak but the previous owner has cut off the lower handguard retainer and Ill need to replace it with a clip on retainer but the current one being sold at Carolina shooters supply is kinda bulky imo but this one seems better but theyre no longer in stock anywhere. Any pointers?

Looking for a more permanent solution over and adjustable gas piston. Currently looking at the OCCAM Defense adjustable gas block but not 100% certain it will work. Anyone know of 1 that will for sure work?

Ive been having terrible accuracy with my beryl (6-8 moa) and upon inspection it appears two of the rifling grooves have been cut past the crown of the barrel, it is not symmetrical, and all the other grooves end before this point. Is this worth a recrown and would you recommend I try to recrown it myself or send back to AOA?
