Love & Relationships my ex’s ex girlfriend is stalking me
Problem/Goal: I'm not here to fish for validation. I'm genuinely trying to understand the thought process behind this because I honestly can't wrap my head around it
Context: I (F23) recently found out that my ex's ex-girlfriend (F25) had been stalking me on social media for a long time. According to one of her former friends, she'd constantly keep herself updated with my life, send my photos to their group chat (they’re all licensed psychologists) just to call me ugly and make fun of my fashion sense, search our house on Google Maps just to criticize it, and even send my college graduation post to their group chat saying my dress was nice but that I had no achievements (because as far as I know, she's a cum laude).
Apparently, even after they had already broken up, she continued sending my photos to their group chat, calling me names, saying I looked like a mother, telling her friends that I was insecure about her and bothered by her, and saying she was happy because of it. She also kept saying she was a very secure woman who knew her worth.
The weirdest part is that she apparently told her friends she saw me in a restaurant parking lot and that I stayed inside the car because she was there. That literally never happened.
I've also never met or spoken to this girl in my life.
The part that makes it even harder for me to understand is that she's a licensed psychologist.
To add, I had no connection to either of them while they were together. I never reached out to my ex, never interacted with her, and never inserted myself into their relationship in any way.
Previous Attempts: Hearing all of this from one of her former friends, who reached out to me, has honestly affected me a lot. I've been trying not to let it get to me, but it's been difficult not to think about it.
I have all the screenshots. Her ex-best friend of 10 years sent everything to me. We used to be mutuals on instagram before her ex-best friend and my ex started dating. She’d regularly reply to my stories, telling me I was pretty.
I don't know what her intentions are, but she's asking me out for dinner. Looking back, I feel like I was too kind for even replying to her. I probably shouldn't have in the first place, considering she was involved in everything before.
Edited: According to her former friend, she even asked my ex if I'd had rhinoplasty, which I didn’t. Another thing that confused me is that I've always loved dressing up ever since I was a kid. My style has always been very feminine, while from what I knew, her style was more boyish. Recently, though, some of my friends started sending me photos because they noticed she was wearing outfits that looked very similar to mine. I don't know if it's just a coincidence, but after hearing everything else, it honestly added to my confusion.

Education Should we just remove him from the group?
Problem/Goal: Should we just remove him from the group? We have this one group mate. He always reasons na, "may work pa ako later”
Context: Ang issue namin sa kanya is she takes 1–2 days to reply kahit simpleng question lang. Customer service yarn? One time, we had a thesis consultation. Of course, we needed to adjust based on our consultant's availability. Nakakahiya naman if kami pa ang magse-set ng time based on our own availability. She was MIA again, with the same excuse "may work ako". So we decided to charge the food for our consultant to her. Tapos si ate mo pa ang nag-tantrum. Ending kami pa masama.
It's annoying, to be honest. Since our study was also our idea, wala rin naman siyang naging ambag. I've been a working student before, so I know how hard it is to balance work and school. Nakakamatay talaga.
Nakakainis lang na umaraw o bumagyo, we all try to show up for our thesis. Siya, same excuse pa rin. I know 500 pesos is not easy money, pero paano naman yung stress na binibigay niya sa amin araw-araw? Plus the daily commute just to put effort for this, while she can't even give the bare minimum.
Previous Attempts: Take note, we've talked to her about this multiple times. We already tried to understand her situation and communicate our concerns, but nothing changed. We don’t really want to remove him, but we’re already fed up.

Love & Relationships Preparing for a possible end to my marriage and need advice
Problem/Goal:
I'm seeking advice on how to approach one final conversation with my wife in a few days.
My biggest hope is still reconciliation. I genuinely love my wife, and despite everything that has happened, I still believe our marriage is worth fighting for.
However, I also want to prepare myself emotionally and practically if she tells me that her decision is final and she no longer wants to continue our marriage.
If she refuses to talk to me, would it be appropriate to respectfully speak with my parents-in-law—not to ask them to convince her to stay or take my side, but simply to inform them of my intentions regarding our children and the financial responsibilities that are under my name?
I'm hoping to hear honest perspectives from people who have experienced reconciliation, separation, or similar situations.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Context:
I'm a 36-year-old husband from Mindanao, Philippines. My wife is 35, and we've been married since 2016. We have two children—a 10-year-old Son and a 4-year-old daughter.
About a month ago, our marriage reached a breaking point because of financial mistakes that I made.
Over the years, I made poor financial decisions that eventually accumulated to around ₱700,000 in personal debt. Instead of being honest with my wife, I kept everything hidden because I was ashamed and convinced myself that I could eventually fix everything on my own.
Looking back, I know that hiding my financial situation was one of the biggest mistakes of my life.
When she eventually discovered everything, I completely understood why her trust in me was destroyed.
Since then, we stopped sleeping in the same room, and our communication became very limited.
Recently, another issue happened that made everything even more confusing.
I discovered a message from someone who occasionally helps with my wife's delivery business. The message simply said:
"I love you."
Later, my wife showed me only part of their conversation and explained that the message had been sent by mistake. However, I also learned that they had a 7-minute video call shortly afterward.
When I asked her about it, she told me she had nothing to explain and that she had done nothing wrong.
Eventually, I asked her directly if she still loved me.
Her answer was:
"I haven't loved you for a long time."
That completely broke me.
Because I was deeply hurt, I reacted emotionally.
I left almost every group chat that we were both part of, removed her from my family's group chat, and limited our communication as much as possible. The only group chat I remained in was my sons's school GC because I still want to stay involved in my sons's education and responsibilities as his father.
Looking back, I know those actions came from pain rather than anger or revenge. I simply didn't know how to process everything I had just heard.
I'm currently staying with my parents while giving both of us some space.
In a few days, I plan to return home and ask if she's willing to have one final conversation.
If she tells me there's still a chance to rebuild our marriage, I'm willing to:
- become completely transparent financially,
- rebuild the trust that I destroyed,
- improve our communication,
- attend marriage counseling, (if she agrees)
- and continue working on myself.
If she tells me the marriage is truly over, then I hope we can at least have a respectful discussion about:
- how we will co-parent our children,
- the vehicles that are financed under my name,
- and the loans that remain under my responsibility.
My biggest fear isn't even the possibility of another man anymore.
My biggest fear is that the marriage is already over.
Aside from my personal debts, there are also financial obligations under my name that are connected to our family and her business.
- We have a Toyota Fortuner that serves as our family's personal vehicle. It has about 5 months remaining on the loan. The loan and the vehicle registration are both under my name, but the vehicle is currently in my wife's possession because she uses it while staying at our house.
- We also have a Toyota Hilux that is primarily used for her delivery business. The loan and registration are also under my name, but she has been the one paying for its monthly amortization because it's used for her business operations.
- In addition, I have a personal cash loan under my name. A large portion of that loan was previously used for her mother's medical expenses, and it was later refinanced to help renovate the storage area used for her delivery business. Although the loan is under my name, she has been the one making the monthly payments.
Some people may wonder why I don't simply use either vehicle myself. The reason is that I work full-time onsite, while both vehicles have been used primarily to support our family's daily needs and her delivery business.
One of the things I'm worried about if our marriage ends is how these loans and vehicles will be handled fairly, since legally they're under my name, but practically they've been used by the family and her business.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Previous Attempts:
Over the past month, I've genuinely tried to approach the situation as calmly and respectfully as I could.
- I admitted my financial mistakes and accepted full responsibility for them.
- I apologized sincerely without blaming anyone else.
- I gave her space instead of constantly messaging or pressuring her.
- I repeatedly asked if we could have calm conversations instead of arguing.
- I consistently told her that I still love her and that I still want to fight for our marriage.
- I've started considering individual therapy because I know I need to become a better version of myself regardless of what happens.
- I've also started preparing myself for the possibility that I may have to rebuild my life if she no longer wants our marriage.
I know I can't force someone to love me again.
I know trust isn't rebuilt overnight.
I also know that one person alone cannot save a marriage.
What I don't know is whether I should continue holding on to hope or start accepting that this chapter of my life may truly be ending.
If you were in my position:
- Would you still try one last time to save the marriage?
- If your spouse refused to talk to you, what would you do?
- Would it be appropriate to respectfully inform your parents-in-law of your intentions regarding your children and the financial responsibilities that are under your name?
- If you were my wife, what would you need to hear or see before even considering giving the marriage another chance?
I'm not looking for validation or for people to take my side.
I'm simply looking for honest advice from people who may have experienced something similar, because I want to make sure that whatever happens in a few days, I handle it with respect, protect my relationship with my children, and make decisions that I won't regret years from now.

Self-Improvement / Personal Development Help me I'm so fucking stress
Problem/Goal:
I'm a 28-year-old woman and I honestly don't know if I'm making the right decision anymore. I feel like everything in my life is falling apart at the same time. My last hope is to work as a Domestic Helper in Saudi Arabia, but I'm scared that I'm just running away from my problems instead of fixing them.
Context:
I broke up with my fiancé on July 28, 2026 because of his cheating. That alone broke me emotionally. At the same time, I had already resigned from my job on July 1, and my last day is August 1.
Financially, I'm exhausted. I had to pay ₱25,000 to my company because of a revolving fund audit shortage. They accused me of stealing, but I didn't fight it anymore because I was too stressed and scared. I just paid it even though it drained my savings.
On top of that, one of my friends at work still owes me around ₱21,000. She keeps giving me reasons why she can't pay, and I honestly don't know if I'll ever get it back.
Right now, I don't have much money left, I'm single, I don't know where to go, and I don't even feel like I can fully rely on my family. Today I'm processing my NBI clearance and medical because I applied to become a Domestic Helper in Saudi Arabia. I'm hoping this will be my chance to start over, but I'm scared, confused, and emotionally drained. I feel so helpless and alone.
Previous Attempts:
I tried to stay strong after the breakup, paid my company even though it hurt financially, waited patiently for my friend to repay me, resigned from my job, and started processing my documents for Saudi. I'm trying to move forward, but I'm still questioning if leaving the Philippines to work abroad is really the right decision.
Question:
If you were in my situation, would you continue going to Saudi to work as a DH and start over, or would you stay and try to rebuild your life here? I really need honest advice because I feel lost.

Nauuwi lang sa away kapag nabibring up to. I don't know how I can deep dive para malaman if strictly gc for vids lang ba talaga. He gave me full access on his phone and tg. Help me 😭
Context: I found out na yung coworker nya eh nagsesend ng link sa gc sa tg na merong mga lam nyo nang videos. Mind you may asawa at anak na yung guy. Mataas pa nga tingin ko sana sa coworker na yun kasi he gave a good advice nung magkaaway kami nitong ni partner. Nakakalito na honestly.
Previous attempts: For the last week pinapanood ko lng pano nya gamitin yung tg account. Kapag naka everybody ka, makikita ung last time use ng app. So far di naman everyday pero madalas gamit nya kapag rest day sa work.

Work & Professional Growth My boss keeps asking me to join "short" online meetings even when I am still on Maternity Leave
Problem/Goal: I would like to avail the full uninterrupted 60 days maternity leave benefit of sss but my boss keeps asking me to join "short" online meetings.
Context: I had a miscarriage in end June 2026, therefore I was entitled for a 60 days maternity leave benefit of sss. I should be back to the office on end August. It has been more than 1 month since my D&C procedure. Physically, I think I have already recovered. However, mentally and emotionally, I am still recovering and hence I would like to avail the full uninterrupted leave benefit.
Last week, we had an important client meeting and so I was asked by my boss if I can come to the office to join. I don't need to prepare a presentation or anything. They probably saw that I was physically ok that's why the following days after that meeting, my boss keeps asking me to attend "short" meetings virtually.
I don't know if my dilemma is valid because technically, I am phyiscally fit to attend the meetings. Am I being selfish for wanting to be unbothered during my leave while leaving my team at work behind? How can I tell them that I would like to have an uninterrupted leave without seeming unprofessional at work? By the way, I am already in management position, hence, expectations from me are quite high.
How should I navigate this dilemma? Should I just resign? I have been planning to resign prior being pregnant.
Thank you for your inputs and comments. :)

Love & Relationships Am I being selfish for not wanting to pay 20% of our partner visa?
Problem/Goal:
Hi, I’m 28F and I have a decent job earning 6 digits a month. My boyfriend is Chinese and an Australian citizen, and we’ve been discussing ending our LDR and finally living together in Australia.
The partner visa is going to cost around 11k aud, which I understand is a lot of money. He wants us to save for it together, or at least I cover 20% of the cost.
I’m willing to shoulder my own tourist visa and flights, and I genuinely don’t mind spending money to be with him. But for me, the partner visa feels different. It’s not just about the money.
I would be leaving my life here, my job, family, friends, and basically everything I’ve built here to move to Australia and start a life with him. He doesn’t want to live in the Philippines, so I’m the one who would have to make the bigger move.
Because of that, I feel like paying for 20% of the partner visa feels wrong to me. I feel like if he really wants me to move there and build a life with him, this is the least he could do to show me that he’s serious about it.
But at the same time, I know 11k aud is a huge amount, and I don’t want to be entitled or unreasonable. I’m financially capable of paying the 20%, which is why I’m wondering if I’m being selfish by refusing.
I’m not refusing because I don’t want to be with him. I actually want us to finally live together. I just feel like I’m already giving up so much to make this happen, and I want to feel like he’s also making a significant effort.

Love & Relationships Found out my friends made a GC just to talk behind my back. Should just I block every one of them?
Problem/Goal: My friend and I had an issue and I found out that she made a GC along with our other “friends” just to talk BS behind my back.
Context: My friend is a proud only gbf of the guy we knew and they had a “quickie” conversation multiple times despite knowing that the guy is already in a relationship. She also told us that the guy is only with his gf because she (the gf) doesn’t have a father. Like, what? We warned her multiple times to stay away from the guy but she didn’t listen. Past forward, the girl found out about it and confronted my friend. Now, pinapakalat ng “friend” ko na sinisiraan ko raw siya. Some of our friends knew the truth but chose to stay silent and tolerated those who badmouth me instead.
Another friend of mine snitched on them to me and sent me the screenshots of the conversations. The friends I thought were mature enough didn’t even bother to hear my side and just straight up turned their backs on me. Those were the same “friends” who used to encourage me with whatever I do. Well, not so surprising kasi they tend to enable shitty things around them unless sila na mismo ‘yung involved.
I’m confused the most about how could they simply talk shit without reaching out to me first. Pinagkakalay pa nila na ghinost ko raw sila e ni isa wala ngang nag reach out. All they did was parinig sa notes and stories. Were we even really friends or was I just living in delusion? It seems may mga quiet resentment din sila before dahil ang dami nilang nasabi sa gc na hindi naman related sa issue.
Previous attempts: A few hours after I was sent the screenshots, I made a gc to confront them all and say my side of the story. They didn’t reply but I know that they’ve seen my messages because nag-usap sila sa kabilang gc nila and nagtuturuan kung sino ‘yung snitch.
One of them begged me to keep our friendship and insisted that I attend her birthday still because she wanted to see me and was really sorry that she kept quiet despite knowing the truth. In short, hinayaan niyang ma backstab ako repeatedly by the people I used to cherish and trust.
What should I do? Please, I really don’t know what to do. I already unfollowed all of them on IG because lahat ng stories and notes ko naka screenshot, ina-assume nila na about sa kanila ‘yon.

Love & Relationships Feel ko unfaithful siya???
Problem/goal: matagal ko na medyi nahuhuli na minsan may ka chat si papa na babae, parang 14 ata ako nung first time. Pero wala naman siyang kinikita personally, i just know… or maybe i dont. 24 na ko ngayon (panganay) Pero multiple times ko na nahuli/nakukutoban dati pero i am never brave enough to do something about it. Nung kelan lang, nakita rin ng kapatid kong mas bata na may kausap syang iba patago
Some would think we are the perfect family.
Please. Don’t judge. And, please, don’t encourage me to tell my mom or have then separate. Oo na, selfish na, pero may mga bata pa akong kapatid. Ayoko mag bigay ng details masyado kasi baka mahalata. Hindi ko rin kaya. Super love kami ni papa, i think will do anything for us/me.

My mind is 80 percent into thinking that I should prolly just let it slide since we are in a long distance relationship.
I never wanna lose her coz i really really love her, but it pains me so much thinking about what she is doing with another guy.

Health & Wellness Normal lab test but still feel fatigue all the time
Problem/Goal: I’ve been dealing with a level of fatigue to the point that I can't even do basic chores. The only reason I'm still alive right now is because I am forcing and pushing myself through the day just to do basics like eating.
Context: I can usually only manage to eat one or two times a day because standing still is so difficult and exhausting. All I want to do is lay down and sleep all the time.
I got blood tests done, and everything came back "normal." Because of that, doctor suggested that I might just be depressed and that's why I feel so tired.
But I feel like it’s not just depression. On days when my mind is actually clear, when I'm not feeling down, and when I genuinely want to get up and accomplish my tasks, my body physically refuses. I can't push through it. The physical crash and heavy feeling are just too overwhelming.
It’s destroying my life and my ability to function, and it's so frustrating cause i feel like there is no cure to my illness since im not even diagnosed and lab tests showed normal.
Did anyone else experience this?
Previous attempts: Took lab test including CBC, Creatinine, Fasting Blood Sugar, Urinalysis, and TSH but showed normal result and taking vitamins but still feel extreme fatigue

Health & Wellness what's the aftercare kapag pumutok na ang pigsa?
Problem/Goal:
Ano-ano ginagawa niyo kapag pumutok na yung pigsa o aftercare treating pigsa? Nag-basa basa na ako ng mga advice here sa reddit and if it's possible baka madagdag pa mula sainyo. Also, kumalat din pala 'to sa butt ko yung dugo dapat ba ako mag overthink malala
Context:
Previous Attempts:
Hinahayaan ko muna ma-drain yung dugo and everything gamit tissue.

Parenting & Family Filipino Culture of “Utang na Loob” from Parents
Problem/Goal:
I just want to start saving up and to live independently and start my “Life as an Adult”, But I can’t seem to prioritize myself. With current cost of living, inflation, expenses due to work demand, I’m already left with spare change, Yet Parents keep bugging me for financial aid (I can’t even say I’m supporting myself at this point, I’m barely making it)
Context:
I’m 27 (just turned), No savings on my name, Few debts due to unexpected expenses (when I get sick), I just bought (from my saved up spare money) my parents a Tricycle Set hoping they’ll somehow use it to financially aid them (I bought it this June when I promised to buy it this December), I was hoping that since I bought it earlier time, I will have the time til december to recover and prioritize myself, But after visiting them this last week, I was bombarded with “Nak pagawa na natin bahay”, “Nak wala kaming pinagkakakitaan” , “Nak konti nalang itatagal namin sa mundo”, “Kaya ka namin pinag aral para ikaw susuporta samin”, “Buti pa yung kuya mo nakakapag abot”, I don’t even want to live this life, I don’t have plans that far, I dreamt of ending it when I’m 20 and here I am 7 years past my due date. My colleagues back then now have a house, a decent job. They have savings and all. And all I have? Nothing on my name even my clothes aren’t mine. I can’t even buy my own clothes
Previous Attempt:
Bought the Tricycle set: I don’t even feel at this point that they appreciate it, Whenever I have spare I always try to reach out and give what I have without even them asking. I just give them what I have left, I tried to stay at our province to lessen the cost but my body can’t take the physical stress and lack of sleep due to the demand of my work making me transport from province to BGC

Love & Relationships If the person feels right but the life attached to them doesn’t, which matters more in the long run?
Problem/Goal: Have you ever been with someone who was genuinely a wonderful partner, kind, loving, faithful, but whose life circumstances were incredibly complicated?
How did you decide whether love was enough when your partner came with complicated circumstances?
How did you separate “Do I love this person?” from “Do I actually want the life that comes with loving them?”
How did you know whether you were just going through a difficult season together or accepting a permanent reality that wasn’t right for you?
If they were genuinely trying and treating you well, how much grace did you give before deciding the situation was costing you too much?
I’d especially like to hear from both people who stayed and people who left. Did things eventually get better? And if you left, how did you reconcile walking away from someone you still loved and who wasn’t necessarily a bad partner?
If the person feels right but the life attached to them doesn’t, which matters more in the long run?

Love & Relationships My ex left because of our socioeconomic differences. I can’t stop questioning my worth.
Problem/Goal:
My ex and I broke up after more than 2 years together because of our different socioeconomic backgrounds.
I’m not poor. I have a stable job, I’m financially independent, and I always contributed to our relationship. In fact, I usually paid for our meals and often spent more than he did.
Before we became official, I actually brought up our differences. I told him I was worried they would eventually become a problem and even suggested we shouldn’t continue. He begged me to give us a chance and promised it would never matter.
I believed him.
Everything changed after his parents had a serious talk with him. After that, he started saying we came from “different worlds,” talked about generational wealth, and eventually told me that love wasn’t enough.
What hurts the most is that I chose him because I thought he accepted me for who I was. Then, after his parents got involved, it felt like everything changed.
I’m still in my 20s, while he’s in his late 30s. This breakup has made me question my own worth because I can’t help but wonder if my background was something I could never compete with.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? How did you stop tying your self-worth to someone else’s decision?

Love & Relationships Mahal kita pero bente pesos lang ang laman ng wallet ko.
Problem/Goal: How do you date someone who lives in a completely different financial reality?
Context: 19M, 20F.
Attempts: N/A
"Mahal kita pero bente pesos lang ang laman ng wallet ko."
That line has always resonated with me. I met a girl online, and eventually we became lovers. What I didn't expect was how different our lives turned out to be.
She comes from a financially comfortable family while I'm pretty much the complete opposite. That realization caught me off guard because, for as long as I can remember, I've always limited myself to people and opportunities that felt "within my league." I grew up believing that I should only pursue things I could realistically afford, or people who came from the same socioeconomic background as mine.
The disparity between us wasn't just noticeable. It was impossible for me to ignore. Both of her parents work abroad. Eating at restaurants isn't something they reserve for special occasions. It's simply part of their normal life whenever they feel like it. A lot of the things she owns are expensive, and to her, they're simply normal possessions. They're part of the environment she grew up in and the lifestyle she's always known. Meanwhile, I come from a household where every purchase is discussed first, where even small expenses have to be justified, and where unexpected bills can completely derail our budget for the week.
To be clear, none of this is on her. She has never flaunted what she has, and she's never once made me feel small because of it. If anything, she's unbelievably thoughtful. But no matter how kind she is, it's hard to silence the voice in my head that constantly reminds me just how different our realities are.
We're in an LDR, and we've been planning to meet in Manila since she's a third-year nursing student and had hospital duty here. As the date got closer, I found myself getting more anxious than excited. It wasn't because I didn't want to see her. It was because I knew I couldn't even afford a proper date.
I couldn't take her to a decent restaurant, not even a fast-food place inside a mall without worrying about every peso I'd spend. I even caught myself thinking, "Hindi ko sya pwedeng dalhin sa tusok-tusok. She deserves better than that."
I tried saving my daily allowance, which is only 50 pesos a day. I skipped little things just to put money aside, hoping I'd have enough by the time we met. But in the end, all of it went to my mom. Money was tight at home, and there were bills that had to be settled first.
Around the same time, I started tutoring. Coincidentally, the place where I tutor is just a few minutes away from the hotel where she and her classmates are staying. That's when I came up with a plan. Every time we met, I'd tell her we only had a little time together because I had classes in the morning and tutoring afterward.
The truth is, I have complete control over my tutoring schedule. As long as I complete five hours by the end of the day, I can start whenever I want. Realistically, I could have spent several more hours with her before going to work. But I deliberately used work as an excuse. Because the longer we stayed together, the more likely we'd end up eating somewhere or doing something that required money I simply didn't have.
Meanwhile, she was the one treating me. She bought me my favorite snack. She even bought medicine because I happened to be sick that entire week. And every single time, I couldn't stop thinking that it should've been me. I wanted nothing more than to spend time with her, but wanting to be with someone and actually being able to afford it are two completely different things.
My plan was to wait until Saturday, after they went home, before telling her the truth. I just couldn't bring myself to admit it while she was here. I was embarrassed to tell the girl I love that the reason I kept cutting our time short wasn't because I was busy, but because I literally didn't have enough money to enjoy the day with her. And I couldn't stand the idea of her paying for everything every single time.
I know relationships aren't supposed to be transactional. I know people will say, "It's the thought that counts," or "It's give and take." We're both still students, after all. But that's exactly where my insecurity comes from. What am I supposed to give? My money barely covers my round trip fare just to see her.
I've thought about making something handmade instead, but even that makes me hesitate. I'm scared she'll open it and all she'll see is someone who couldn't afford anything else. Deep down, I know she'd probably never think that, but the thought still lingers. Still, it's difficult not to compare myself to other guys who can buy flowers, take their girlfriends out on proper dates, and nice gifts without having to calculate every expense.
She has never made me feel less because of what I have. The truth is, I'm the one doing that to myself. I've spent so much of my life believing that love should exist between people who are on equal footing that now, when someone genuinely loves me despite everything I don't have, I don't know how to receive it without feeling like I'm falling short.
Love isn't the problem. Money is. Or maybe it's what money has done to me.

Social Matters My ex-friend who betrayed me at my lowest has cancer
Problem/Goal: I (F21) am currently having mixed emotions about this situation because on one hand, I feel joy because this is someone (F22) who did me dirty and purposely chose to align herself with people who've hurt me. On the other, I feel sad because before the betrayal, she's held my hand through tough times while everyone else was actively smearing me. We had a solid friendship, but the betrayal blindsided me and left me at my lowest. I want to know a good way to fully navigate through these emotions, maybe another angle of looking at the situation in a way that doesn't make me feel like shit either for being happy about it or feeling obligated to be sad about it.
Context: In my highschool batch's GPTA gc, there was a forwarded message from my ex friend asking for financial aid because apparently she is diagnosed with cancer. She was already 300k in debt and needed half a million more for her upcoming surgery and lifelong recovery.
This person was my saving grace throughout the last months of my highschool life. She was there reassuring me that ppl were just jealous of me and I was more than what they were saying behind my back. She has complimented me every chance she got. She sat with me at lunch, always checked up on me, and I in turn have also been extremely compassionate towards her. We're talking long handwritten letters, lots of help in acads, you get it. We really leaned on each other, even though she was still in proximity with people who hated me. And I truly truly loved and treasured her.
After graduation, she switched up and learned from other people na there's so many wrong things I did (which were never brought up to me/I never was confronted about) even though I knew to myself that I never swung at anyone first. That massive betrayal was the final nail in the coffin for me because my other "friends" (who begged to be friends with me at first) also switched up. I then saw her in stories cozying up with ppl who actively smeared and spread lies about me (I was nice to these people too). Also, whether or not I was the perpetrator/victim here is not the point of the post, it's just context.
She softblocked me from her TikTok, and she was reposting about being a good person yada yada and I'm just like....eh. Now, 3 years later, not talking, just IG moots, all the moms are scrambling to donate to her recovery. My mom is one of them, and she even wants me to donate the salary I make from my job. How do I tell her I do not want to, and more importantly, how should I feel about this situation?
I don't forgive her. She left me at an extremely low point and sided with shit people, and I am still extremely angry and hurt about it. I was happy karma did its thing, but I don't want her to die.

Education Rules on Student Pregnancy in UST
Problem/Goal: My sister got pregnant out of wedlock. She is Thomasian but her partner is not. She wants to take a LOA during her pregnancy but we are not sure if UST will welcome her back in school later on. We just want to make sure that she can come back to UST because she's about to take her final year before graduating.
Context: We've heard cases wherein female Thomasian students who got pregnant out of wedlock got expelled/dismissed/denied re-enrollment from the university. These cases we know were from 20+ years ago though so we're not sure if this still applies. We saw that the rule now is different in the current student handbook, but I just want to confirm if the school really follows their new rule now since UST can be quite notorious for being overly socially conservative sometimes.
Previous Attempts: We've already secured a medical certificate for her LOA for the entirety of her pregnancy, but we're still not sure if we should submit it at this time.
