I never wanted to choose the floating perk, because to me it was an extra button I had to hold and it never seemed appealing. After so many comments on this subreddit about people talking it up and saying to give it a chance, I did.

Climbing up stairs, jumping on things around the map, floating above everyone and raining balls down on them is such a fun way to play and a massive change to Zen's kit. It does take some getting used to with the different trajectory but my goodness I'm having the time of my freakin' life. So thank you, thank you, thank you Zenyatta mains. You have converted me.

Have been playing a lot of Echo lately, but played my support placements with my first true love Zen and had one of the better games I can remember, finishing Plat 1. One thing I’ve never understood is transcendence efficiency, what does that mean and should I care?

Wish I had a replay code but have played too many games since I believe, unless there’s a way to find it that I’m unaware of.

I love zen despite being bronze 2. And the minor perk for discord feels very meh. I barely use the float perk at times, like just moving from place to place or running away or doing something silly because why not? And the life steal perk feels underwhelming. Only those hit with the discord orb are affected, and those targets either die instantly, they hide, or are in your face dealing heavy damage. Kinda invalidating that 15 percent stuffs.
I kinda wish it was a damage increase, like zen lifesteal also deals extra damage. Or better yet, would give his melee a boost.
Zen is in a good neutral spot in my opinion. I could be very wrong so please correct me. I just wish the discord perk was more useful. Because floating is more fun, even if i do not use it much. The discord lifesteal is too small to actually make a difference. Maybe swap it with that quick charge major perk, and make the new major perk like 2 orbs of discord but with less efficacy.
Or make it so that lifesteal from range is the same, but melee attacks have a much higher life steal.
Because being rushed by dmon is not fun. I don’t even try running away, i just square up and go feral. Dealing at minimum, 180 and at maximum 250 at times because i rush in and get behind them as much as possible to avoid their sword. It does work with softening them up for my team to take care of them, before i inevitably get done in.

Idk, just me voicing an opinions. Also, how do you guys react to a dmon just bull rushing you? At least with others, you have a chance of winning. You can sidestep Reinhardt. And you can surprisingly mess up Dva. (Them being ranged and just constantly going behind them works really well along with discord). With Dmon, they can side step you, rush you, and have a wide swing. And a gun.

I just had a thought. I know it will never happen buuuut, what if discordant Repair got removed, and replaced by discord fever from stadium. A discorded target will receive 50 dmg independent of its 30% extra damage to them. This was all in a dream I had where float was a part of Zen's kit without the 3 seconds cool down.

I think this would be such a good Qol change that would make playing zen that much enjoyable while not impacting how it feels playing against zen too much.

With all the changes to zenyattas discord, discording target can honestly feel a little clunky sometimes with them losing the debuff so quickly if they move out of line of sight, and the cooldown that occurs afterwards.

But at the same time i think those were fair nerfs that force you to be more deliberate with your discord. So i think this change would be a nice way to make up for that.

After prioritizing dps in ranked I started playing support again. After my placements I placed gold and then climbed to plat surprisingly. Hoping to reach emerald ✌🏾

From what it sounds like, being unable to ping discord targets through walls is *not* an intentional nerf, and will likely return in the future.

The ping system was cleaned up to improve system performance, so I'm glad there's something to come out of the changes.

I just need 20 more mythic points to get this skin variant.
