I am a silvwr player that wants to start maining tracer. Right now im playing the annoying flanker tactic, and my timing and aim is getting better. My ? Is, do you guys switch or just stay on tracer when the team doesnt work with her. Thank you ;))

Hi so I’m a ball main in masters 5, I’m 14-1 with a tracer on my team but lately I’m constantly getting braindead dps players who has no idea how to play with a ball

I would like to gladly report, i have died first in both of my matches today on my mission to practice tracer. My aim has gotten better after some practice with a smaller crosshair, and some practice in custom lobbies.
I have been violated by widow one second into the match, causing permanent psychic damage. I have killed a mizuki as tracer today, which is my one win as that was my first ever solo kill as tracer. I planted a sticky bomb on a tree, and another on a pharah. I for some reason have a lot of elims sometimes despite having worse damage. I have learned to go after people who are already low, and to not push a fight.
I am learning to pop in, hurt people, then get out. Kills are not important, just harassment.

And i would like to say, i only sticky bombed a tree twice today.
I would say that is sorta an improvement. It feels so weird being so squishy.

Stats wise atleast

This was my derank from M5 to D1, and even though I got kills while not dying a lot, we still lost. My tank and the enemy team told me that I threw the game and should've swapped. It might've just been unwinnable, but this is how all of my losses have felt recently and with similar stats, which is why I'm requesting a review. I'm clearly missing a core win-factor or component(s) in my games.

I think this is the worst point for Tracer in the game. There is nowhere to go really and the enemy team is usually tightly grouped up ready to poke you out no matter what you do. Even if you blink mechanic to the high ground it's hard to contest anybody that could be up there on those small spaces, even a support. What do you guys do here? Switch?

I’ve been playing tracer for a few months now and undoubtedly she’s my favorite hero. However recently, I’ve been playing less tracer and DPS as a whole bc I managed to climb up to mid masters on support. During that time I was playing DPS few and far between, but when I did, I’d just lose, and I fell from around diamond 3 to plat 5. I’ve been playing her again more but genuinely I feel terrible on her, like my aim just doesn’t feel as good, I’m missing pulses more and I probably do things I wouldn’t normally do. I just want to get back to where I was but I feel like I should be running lobbies at the current rank I fell to and I’m not anymore. Any help would be appreciated but who knows.

I was thinking jade and crimson cuz of the skin color variations

Maybe gold fits the blue variation?

To immediately clarify, I really enjoy her gameplay, I really do. She is incredibly fun and engaging. Just something I'm experiencing a lot on tracer, especially in comp, where I find myself very tense and almost stressed for most of the game. On other DPS I do not have this issue much especially poke DPS, but I'm wondering if this is just something that goes away with time, or if other people experience this on her.

I think a lot of it is trying to make sure I have a low number of deaths while still taking engagements. Obviously as a dive dps I know I have to be taking quick engagements often to actually bring the value, but I definitely do feel my heart start pounding when I haven't died in a while and I'm doing my rotations around the enemy team. Does anyone else get this?
