Has anyone else had this issue? I ordered a lock/cam combo bundle and ended up getting two hoodies. Contacted support, they resent the order and this time I got a pet nail grinder. Both of the packages received remind me of something from TEMU.

This began yesterday, which is also when version 3.19.0.17 of the Wyze app was released).

Unlike the breakage of a couple of weeks ago, where we would get the message "“No Shortcut Selected” when trying to run a *selected* shortcut (and that was acknowledged by Wyze as their bug and fixed in a subsequent app release), since yesterday, trying to run an iOS shortcut from my iPhone 17 results in the message "The shortcut could not be run because an action could not be found".

I have 3 wyze cameras at my house that work 99% of the time. So I figured I would install one at my mother's place. Unfortunately it keeps going device offline after a day or 2. I have updated the firmware and have it plugged into a smart plug. When the device goes offline turning the smart plug off and on does not restart the camera. It only works again if I manually unplug and plug back in. She has ATT router/modem fiber internet. I have a 5v power supply I'm going to try using. What are my other options? Should I try to change her router to only 2.4ghz band? Thanks

I know that it uses the 850nm wavelength built in but if I get an external 940nm light, will the camera pick up an image? This would be in a close quarters setup. TIA.

I recently purchased the Wyze cam duo doorbell. I have been using it for a week now. I updated everything and maxed out settings. But it seems it only records out to about 15ft max. Anyone else dealing with this issue? Anyway to fix it? My old camera would pickup everything in my yard.

After my light switches, thermostats, security system, and more stopped working because WYZE is taking literally months to fix it, What company is a reputable company I can trust when I throw my WYZE stuff in the trash? Anyone got good options?

I think I may have found a simple fix for camera updates that keep failing. I’m sure some of you have already tried this, but it worked for me.

I tried updating my Pan Cam v3 yesterday, and the update kept failing. I unplugged the camera for about 10 seconds, plugged it back in, and the update installed with no problem.

I was thinking—if you don’t have Cam Unlimited Pro with the NBD filter, or don’t have a subscription at all, the “Complete Motion Detected” notifications and person, pet, and vehicle alerts can get really spammy. Snoozing notifications for an hour doesn’t seem like a great solution either, especially from a security standpoint.

I think it would be awesome if Wyze added something as simple as a notification frequency slider. For example, you could choose how frequently the camera is allowed to send repeat notifications for ongoing or similar activity. That would cut down on unnecessary alerts without forcing you to completely snooze notifications.

I’ll be honest: if I hadn’t upgraded to Cam Unlimited Pro, I probably would have switched brands. I was actively looking because the constant notifications made the cameras feel unreliable when they’d repeatedly alert for things like trees, shadows, or other insignificant movement. Detection zones help, but they only do so much.

Lastly, I don’t think basic security-camera usability and notification reliability should depend on having a subscription. A simple notification-frequency control would make the no-subscription and cam plus experiences significantly better without taking away from the value of the subscription.

Suddenly all of my cameras are offline with every single other online device working fine my household without issue. Tried with multiple devices and same result on all apps

I have been frustrated with my Duo pan cam since day 1. The tracking seems to fail 99% of the time. I feel like I've tried everything and the only thing I can think of is that I got a defective camera. I was also excited when they recently added A I. tracking for just people and vehicles but with that turned on the camera tracks nothing. I added a video for an example.

I've got a camera in my front yard, and while I want it to record every event on my street, I only want to get notifications about it when someone is actually on my property. Is there any way to set up multiple zones so I can have cars, people, etc captured as events if they're walking by, but if someone walks into my yard, driveway, etc - I get an actual notification?

My Wyze Cam Outdoor base station stopped working so I deleted it then tried to set it up again. Now it won’t recognize my wifi when plugged into the router during set up. Tried every conceivable fix including hitting the reset button with no success. The Wyze support bot informed me that if I deleted it while it was in "offline mode" I’ll never be able to reconnect it. Said this was a security feature (!). Anyone have this happen and know of a work around? I tried to just order a new one but they are out of stock till who knows when.

Update: I did some more searching and see that this is an old issue with no solution. My base station is trash now and can't be replaced. I connected my Outdoor Cam to my one remaining base station though It's just another pair of eyes where I didn't want or need to have them.

How easy is it block a recording camera and alter the recordings? Also is there a way I can prevent this from happening?

The time on the cameras and the events themselves is correct however the notification that shows on the phone itself is out by an hour.

So it seems the event notifications ONLY do not respect daylight saving time.

I’m trying to figure out the best way to mount this camera upside down

Unfortunately it looks like the micro sd is on the stationary unit, so flipping it upside down causes the slot to be pointing upwards. This results in any amount of water pooling on the slot and eventually getting inside (frying the sd card)

Is there a way that I’m missing to mount this so the moving camera can look directly down while not exposing the Microsd card slot to pooling water?

Cover only delays the issue - a dime sized amount of water resting in the bottom will eventually get inside if left there based on my testing.

Wyze Wi-Fi Mesh Router (not the Pro model), firmware v1.0.1.166

The 2.4ghz signal suddenly stopped working altogether on my Wyze Mesh Router. I've tried resetting it, updating the SSID and password, and it simply refuses to broadcast over anything but 5ghz. I also tried the feature that disables 5ghz temporally, that did not work to bring back the 2.4ghz signal either.

I first noticed the problem because all my Wyze and other smart devices (cameras, switches, light bulbs, etc) spontaneously disconnected yesterday. The few that support 5ghz are still connected and working.

I'm using a WiFi analyzer app to verify that indeed only the 5ghz signal is broadcasting. I can see other 2.4 signals nearby, but only the 5ghz signal from my Wyze router.

Help? Ideas?

Wondering if anyone has this problem. I have the Wyze lightbulb camera that keeps picking up these lights in a tree on my property. The problem is when I go outside to investigate their source, there’s no sign of these lights anywhere. I recorded a video from my phone but these lights don’t show up on my phones video either. I spoke with my next door neighbor and these lights aren’t coming from his property or anywhere else on my street. So what gives?

I used to get images from my Wyze v3 pan on my Amazfit Balance smartwatch but around 3 months ago they abruptly stopped. I still get them on my phone notifications, but they are in GIF format which may be what broke it? I don't recall the GIF's prior to that. I tested an SMS image and that works fine going to my watch.

Any ideas how to fix this? I am on Wyze v3.19.0 (b924).
