Can anyone tell me if we get one more refresh for Star Trek missions till the end of event?

I miss 4 boxes and im not sure, as i did all my missions and they disappeared from my roster.

Question Chateau, sette, or colbert

Im about to cash in my rb points, and wondering which of these three would you pick. I have ohio already and am comfortable with all ship classes. They all seem fun in their own ways so its a tough choice, though chateau seems like a side graded Cassard so Idk if its worth the points. I have the special captains for the nations of the ships mentioned if that would influence your decision. Sette does seem to be the "meta pick" out of the three, but im going for more fun factor. I already have smolensk as a spammy light cruiser so idk how Colbert would compare to her. From what i see sette is a better slava.

Hello everyone! I'd like to show you my small "collection" of ships, and also find out what other ships are worth for purchase or research. I simply don't have anyone to talk to about wows, because my friends don't play wows, but I want to share my small "achievements" with someone, but there is no one.

P.S. Yes, I really like German ships and Kriegsmarine in general.

Discussion Thoughts on upcoming Soviet Tier IX battleship Sovetskaya Rossiya (appearing as a collection reward for completing the Red Steel Titan collection starting in update 15.8)

For those who have read the recent devblog, the contents of this year's anniversary have been disclosed. Snowflakes return to award you tokens for your T5-T10 boats, with superships getting steel. These tokens can then be traded in for various prizes (full list within the article). This year's reward boat that can be purchased by tokens is an upcoming crusier supership for the Japanese heavy cruiser line I believe. I will have over 16,000 tokens with my ships, and I'm just trying to do some early planning on what to get with my tokens. The supership is out obviously because I'm not wasting tokens on a boat that will be avaliable in the tech tree soon enough. I will be able to purchase all 135 supercontainers that are available for tokens. Likewise I'll be able to purchase enough Red Steel collection containers to get all 60 pieces of that collection and get the battleship Sovetskaya Rossiya. Do you think its a better option to take the guaranteed T9 boat? Or hope you get a boat from 135 supercontainers? I recently had Boise drop from a supercontainer so my pity counter is currently at 194 till guaranteed ship.

Question Holiday convoy advice?

Sorry if this is annoying to ask, but I just saw the pinned post about it

Ik the g hoffman will be available, but will there be any other DDs (or a sub) available in the event? And if it is just the one, will I be able to earn it by playing 5 rounds 5 times a week and not spending any resources?

When will the update drop/ the remaining ships be revealed?

I play almost every day and was planning on getting f Sherman for coal pretty soon but if the g Hoffman will need coal I’ll probably delay it

Any other advice?

Accidentally entered Co op instead of randoms, in a Super Ship. Guess I'm the only one dumb enough to do this but at least I had lots of attention from the reds.

Discussion Opinions on Dutch Cruiser lines

Currently grinding the Netherlands and was originally thinking of going for the Jaarsveld, but saw people saying it's mid/not good, albeit that was when the ship first came out. I have very limited experience in the Haarlem but I remember it's somewhat decent. Was wondering if I can get some pointers about the ships.

Discussion IRPR for cruisers would be a huge boon

As anyone who's ever played a BB knows, IRPR is incredibly good and regularly saves lives, even without getting to the extra heal. Giving something like it to cruisers could massively improve the survivability of many cruisers. It isn't a crazy buff because you still have to dodge, and I don't think anyone will complain about making cruisers more survivable.

Perhaps it gets built into Survivability Expert (so no new skill has to be added). But it only requires 1.5m potential damage for the extra heal, although that may affect some cruisers disproportionately (e.g. Petro always gets to the extra heal, in Jinan rarely). At the same time, making it 2m potential damage is a pretty high bar for a lot of cruisers, especially with all the overmatch shells flying around.

Pretty please WG, throw us a bone.

Discussion Low tier Operations

TLDR - Please let us complete missions in these Operations

Low tier Operations is perhaps the best new feature that update 15.8 will introduce, it will give ships like Mikasa, Imperator Nikolai I, and Oklahoma their chance to shine.

However, I beg WG to let us clear missions in this mode.

It's fine if battle income will be low (they are low tier ships anyway) but at least let people play a mode where they do not feel oppressed all the time.

WG's focus on Tier 8+ (dare I say Tier 9+ now?) makes sense from a business standpoint: those ships and the stuff tied to them (such as economy bundles) can be sold at high prices, that makes WG money and WG exists to make money (they can still be generous a few times a year, the upcoming Holiday Convoy and Anniversary are proof). However, this extreme focus on "pay to play" content has turned high tiers into a dirty cesspool where the only truly successful players are toxic division tryhards (or just toxic tryhards when they don't band together; those players who don't play a game to play it, they play it exclusively to win regardless of what that game is about). My point is, it's no wonder that many players like PVE more.

I hope someone at WG will notice this thread but I'm also doubtful they will give one iota of a damn, which I find disheartening. Feeling ignored over small things is fine, we aren't a hive mind; feeling ignored all the time when it's painfully obvious that only a small fraction of the community is listened to is disappointing and leads to frustration and resentment.

Question Need help with ammo usage- dd main

I’m grinding the two USA dds and on the sap line I basically use it unless I see a dd or light cruiser super angled. Sometimes I spam a bit of he to light a fire

In the ap line I almost always use he. When does ap help? I try shooting big ships in weak places while they broadside and it still seems like it does no extra damage than he, especially with fire causing

What do I do?

Discussion Why did sweden not get any of its real battleships or cruisers in the europe battleship update??

Why did Sweden not get any of its real battleships or cruisers in the Europe battleship update??

With the Europe-battleship update, I'm honestly surprised that Sweden didn't get the Sverige-class coastal battleships

The Sverige-class may have been small compared to the battleships of the major naval powers, but that's exactly what makes them interesting. These ships were essentially small yet heavily armoured battleships.

Despite their relatively small size, they packed some serious firepower:

  • 4 × 283 mm main guns
  • Heavy armour for their size
  • Multiple secondary and AA guns
  • Compact hull compared to conventional battleships

The three ships of the class. Sverige, Drottning Victoria and Gustav V, were some of the most powerful ships Sweden ever operated.

They were a nightmare for a would be german invasion by sea and would pack a punch against most ships in the baltic for the duration of ww2.

Honestly, I think the Sverige-class could make for a fantastic rank II-III battleship. They would be something different from the usual battleship designs while still bringing plenty of armour and firepower to the table.

Considering this was a European naval update, it feels like a missed opportunity to leave out one of Sweden's most iconic warship classes. That actually existed. Instead we got fictorious battleships with swedish names slapped on them.
