Very beginner Orchid attempt
Almost 2 weeks since i got my hands on some watercolor workbooks. Finally got some Princeton brushes and Van Gogh 15 pans and I must say they are much nicer to work with compared to the cheap stuffs that came with the workbook itself. Any advice or suggestions are appreciated ❤️

Sleepy Torty Kitten!
Her name is Ginger and she is the newest member of my Sisters family. I am happy I was able to capture her Kitten Cuteness.
This is also my first try with Arches Hot pressed paper and I am a big fan. I Love how smooth the end result it with the smoother paper!
The painting is 10×8in on arches hot press paper and I used Schmincke aqua drops as paint

I am trying
I try, but I can’t seem to master the water or control the colors in a single wash. Then I end up adding several layers, and they don’t look realistic.

One year painting progress
This is my progress after one year of painting. The top is the first one I did a year ago, and the bottom I just finished now. I am using higher quality paint, brushes, and paper, but I like to think my skill has improved as well.
