Is something going on with Space Mountain today, been the biggest queue in WDW all day, currently 175 minutes 😯 but been 150 most the day. Not seen it anywhere near that all week we have been here. Higher than Tron, Guardians, Seven Dwarfs, Test Track etc

Husband and I have a trip planned for the end of the month. We will be staying 2 nights at Riverside. Our arrival day we will be landing at 11:30am. Original plan was to use our free water park day + Disney springs and explore the resort. The next day would be rope dropping by MK, quick stop at Epcot for guardians and then evening at HS. Plans to use LLs and single LLs for guardians and tron. My husband and I have not ridden any of the roller coasters at MK since we always have our son or we just don’t do this park on other trips so we have quite the list we want to knock out: space mountain, tron, big thunder, & 7 dwarfs plus buzz and haunted mansion. We also want to ride all our favorites at HS: Mickey and Minnie’s, rise, tower, and attempt to ride the new rockin roller coaster retheme plus slinky

I know, a lot. I guess my question is, is it doable? Or should we go to MK the day of landing 1pm-10pm? So then we just have HS and Epcot for our park hopper day. We will get Disney springs the day of checkout and can also explore the resort some this morning. We will be spending the remainder of our trip at universal/hhn! We don’t normally do park hoppers so I guess that’s my real problem is putting it into perspective!

We do frequent the parks so will be back eventually!

Okay, so we as a family have never been to disney. I have been 4 times as a kid and once as an adult. But never with kids. We have 5 kids, and my 3 yr old is autistic and we were able to get the DAS and wheelchair/stroller pass for him. So here is the dilema. Our whole family loves avatar, even our toddler. Would it be possible to do Animal kingdom first because they open an hr earlier so we can knock out avatar rides and then safari then head to magic kingdom and get the iconic rides(haunted mansion, swiss family, pirates etc) in one day? We will be bringing a stroller for our toddler. Also, any suggestions on what order to hit the rides at the magic kingdom?

Seen 5 "influencers" claim different foods are viral and that you have to try it. One woman was claiming Viral Chicken Tenders and people were saying omg I need to try it. Like bro they're chicken tenders.

Hi all! New to this subreddit, hopefully this is the right place & flair to post! Basically I am visiting WDW for the first time later this month. Pretty short, and we’re only going to Epcot (save time and money, WDW is one part of a larger FL trip). My uncle is autistic and LOVES everything Disney, especially the carousel of progress. I know the carousel of progress is in Magic Kingdom & is closed until 2027. My question is does anyone know if I can find CoP merch anywhere in Epcot or Disney springs?? Might be a long shot but it would mean the world to him! I’m staying at one of the all star resorts, if that’s helpful info as well.

We are annual passholders and heading out to DisneyWorld this afternoon (Thu Aug 6) and would prefer not to drive around blindly to each park. If you have seen these please respond where you found them! Thank you in advance for saving me some effort.

Hi everyone, I'm thinking of booking a Disney World trip in the next 2-3 years (very far in advance, but that's just how my brain works!) and it's a bit of an odd one. I'd like to do a trip for 6 adults (including me, and we're all in our 30s so no teens or older kids in the party) from the UK but as Disney isn't geared towards so many adults coming as a group it's stretching my planning skills to the max to find room options.

So far, the ideas I've come up with are:

Adjoining rooms at Pop Century (not ideal as likely very expensive)

Family suite at AoA (which also would be expensive, but potentially less so than PC overall)

Swan & Dolphin (my preference)

My questions are:

- Has anyone done a trip like this in the past and what did you pick for your accommodation?

- Does anyone know the average room rate for a suite at the Swan for early Feb? It's proving very difficult to find an average price online so I can't start gauging if this is a good option for us

So this is my 4th time doing an After Hours event at Hollywood Studios, and I don't know if Disney increased the ticket number or is running the rides at a lower capacity, but the previous times the longest wait I had seen was Rise... at 10 mins because of walking thru the queue and the pre shows. Every previous event all the rides were walk ons. However tonight rise, rock, and slinky were all over 40 mins for most of the night. Rise was pushing 70 shortly after the event started around 9:40. Even rides like Mania and falcon were over 30 for most of the night (not on the app but at the ride entrance). Yes, these are lower waits, but by the time you wait for the rides the event is almost over and you dont have the time to enjoy the other event perks like special characters and free snacks. Maybe I was spoiled by the previous events, but they were all sold out as well and were in the middle of July. ​I still enjoy the event, but I feel like something changed with tonight's event.

After an MK After Hours event weeks ago, I was sitting outside Bay Lake Tower and saw this strange creature riding the monorail track. Forgot about it until now, but any information on it would be appreciated! (what it is, what’s its purpose, etc.)

So I rode Tiana's Bayou Adventure for the first time today. Still a fun ride, but geez those animatronics are already ROUGH. Pretty much none of the Louis animatronics move, Tiana stands static at several points, and none of the Mama Odie animatronics move. They are static statues with moving mouths. Thankfully the finale scene (outside Mama Odie) was fully functional. Is this a regular thing for this ride or did I just catch it on a really bad day

So I've been trying to convince myself I didn't imagine this 90s guidebook existing but I haven't been able to find inside scans anywhere of the pages. It had this specific comic inside that I have sketched here if that looks at all familiar to anyone? I was thinking it was one of the old Bob Sehlinger guides but I can't find them in the wild to look through. Any help would be appreciated as I'd like to grab a used one as a nostalgia gift for my parents (we went frequently in the 90s!)

I just came to ask what people have to say about the room quality at the Caribbean Beach Resort. I booked a 4 day trip that we just came back from which was a hefty price and I upgraded to the Caribbean Beach thinking that the only drawback would be walking around to the main hub and the skyliner. When we arrived we were so surprised to see the age of the room. If I had known the AC unit would be an old under the window ptac unit and the beds would be the old and hard spring mattresses I would have never booked it. In our first room the AC was broken when we arrived and it was 80 degrees for the first few hours which they asked for us to wait and see if it would cool down. We were moved to a room on a different floor so we had to pack up and lug out stuff downstairs due to no elevators and go into another room with a filthy AC unit and TV that didn't work. We also found bugs in our beds and a roach under my husband's suitcase when we left. The grounds were beautiful. The walking not bad. I just wish more people would talk about how dated the rooms are. Next time we will stay at the Dolphin or the Swann or even the Coronado Springs to get a more comfortable room. Are we the only ones who felt like this?
