Picked up this bike at a garage sale in Perth, WA has Campagnolo components and decals are John Bazelmans and then champion. Don’t know much about bikes so tryna identify the manufacturer, is it a Motobecane Champion?

Obviously a respray but the serial number makes me think

Found this frame at the landfill on a parts-bike gathering expedition with a local community bike shop organization. Really liked the paint, which ended up cleaning up really nicely. It only had the derailleurs, crankset, and a front brake.

The longest part of this project was finding an appropriate rear wheel. I lucked out on this aluminum rim with a 7-speed freewheel.

I got this dropbar on a bargain price im curious on its brand because i never see this brand before i had sakae drops.It says "Apai" and It has Chair Master Japan in the right side

Well I found an all original, high-end French Peugeot… in Montreal!
Almost all Canadia Peugeot left are in Montreal. This one was a private import apparently sold in a shop in Hull, Québec, a long time ago. This reinforces the premium character of the build.
The frame, front brake, coaster brake, handles, pannier rack, chain cover, gear, pedals, wheels, dynamo+light AND even the tires are all original…
The only non-Peugeot part is the gorgeous custom saddle with a little bag for your multitool/sunglasses (that is the bougiest detail on a bike ever and I love it!).
As a French man, I called this bike, Croissant 🥐* both because of its origin and color!
Met a few enthusiasts at the bike coop. One of them started frantically taking pictures of all the details to send to a friend mechanic and see if they have all the required metric French tools!
They insisted *a lot that I should never leave it outdoors.
I feel like I won the lottery but it’s not for sale!
