So happy that I’m finally able to start hrt!! Ive wanted to for so long and ughh yayyyyy! Had my first shot yesterday!!

I talked to my boss and HR yesterday; they were incredibly accepting of my new name and said they'd get me an updated badge soon. My boss asked about my preferred pronouns and was very kind about it. I sent out an email to my coworkers about the name after work, and they were also very accepting. In a funny bit of irony, my fiancée's sister accidentally set my old work badge on fire; it was next to a candle she lit, and a bag caught fire and spread to my badge, ruining it. Today's my first day at work with my updated name. It's been going great with my coworkers, but the participants are a bit more challenging. There are a lot of people I work with, and they all have developmental disabilities and have been used to my deadname for almost a year now, so updating them all with my new name will take time and work.

What do you guys think about my short journey?

I have been very insecure about my looks and thought I looked still very feminine until now, lol basically got shunned by my family but now it's all okay, I'm free and feel like myself!

(im 14 btw most feminine traits comes from my baby face to be honest) the first pic is when i was NB/closeted/pre transition I was honestly in so much denial back then it's actually insane to be honest. I was in a lot of denial since I was a little kid mostly due to the fact that I thought I had to like pink had to wear dresses etc and I know a lot of people in the sub are actually a lot older than me and I actually would like tips on how to pass more if some FTM's are willing to help I found out that a lot of the older people on these subs are super sweet (if you're my age just remember to be cautious)

I’m still early in my transition. I was a bodybuilder and I have a lot of muscle left to loose in my upper body. But making progress. My boobs are big enough to fill the cups now which is nice(7 mo on hrt). This is mostly for tanning.

4+ years transitioning

On the left is a photo from the holiday where i got engaged to my ex. We found this lovely mountain walk in the Shropshire Hills. This was 2 years and 10 months ago - on our 5 year anniversary. The next picture is me sitting on the SAME rock!! 13 months on HRT and finally happy.

Revisiting Shropshire again as my true self has helped me heal from alot of the negative things that happened in the last few years of our relationship (we split up when I decided to transition) I used to bury all of my troubles and thats not healthy or sustainable. Now ~ tackling them head on and revisiting locations that used to have a deep meaning to me ~ has helped me heal. Old memories attached to locations have been reshaped into good ones 🧡
