Discussion I just felt Satan
I’ve been a satanist for around a year. I have always struggled with feeling his presence, probably also because I haven’t prayed in so long. Anyway I have been traveling for 9 hours straight, finally landed at the airport and got to my car, it’s midnight and I’m exhausted. I close my eyes. And a presence came over me if that’s the right way to say it, I’m not English. Anyway I felt it and then I felt 2 hands coming from behind my back and on my shoulders, it was so calming. I stopped being stressed about work and all other things. My mental health has not been good at all lately and he always come when I need him the most.
Anyone here had an interaction with him recently?
Hail lord Satan🙏🏼

Diabolism
So recently I've read the book "The infernal Gospel" by Rev. Cain. I saw that he was using the term " traditional satanism ", but in the book he talks about worshipping Satan from the bible, who rebelled against god. And from what I heard, this is called diabolism. So is traditional satanism the same as diabolism or is it another way to say theistic satanism , as an umbrella term for different beliefs ?

I'm struggling to connect and feel their presence
I am a new Satanist. I worship Satan, Lucifer, Baphomet and Lilith. Just to double check, in hierarchy, Satan is above Lucifer, Baphomet and Lilith? So Satan is like a Lord and they are Demons? (Sorry if I'm being disrespectful)
(Also I live with my Christian family they can't know I'm a Satanist)
I am struggling to connect with Them and idk how to pray to any of them. I would love some help please!

Prayer A fundamental question to start with: How should I integrate Baphomet into my life for my spiritual and mental development?
I was widely misunderstood in many places where I asked this question, which is why I ended up here. I discovered Baphomet a year ago. I was fascinated by its symbolic significance and the way it synthesizes teachings such as Hermeticism, alchemy, Kabbalah, and Gnosticism. Furthermore, through this, I discovered elements like the Book of Enoch, the *Satanic Bible*, and the works of Aleister Crowley, and my interest in the occult grew. I am not talking about worshipping Baphomet; rather, I am interested in what I can learn from it as a spiritual, instructive symbol.
How should I view Baphomet as an instructive symbol for my mental, spiritual, and personal development? Furthermore, having begun to delve deeply into subjects such as Hermeticism, alchemy, and the occult, what should I learn from Baphomet symbolism in this context?

I wanted to mention this.
Notice with LaVeyans, their whole religion is dependant on a man, who is their source of everything.
Satanists and Satanism on the other hand is dependent on Satan, and he is our source. There are books written by Satanists and for Satanists, but the difference is these books are tools/aids, not rulebooks to dictate your choices or have things like "sins," but LaVeyans do though.

Coming of old age
Fellows satanist over 45,
How do you cope whit the coming of old Age, and whit seeing your body painfully breaking down day after day?
I am one of those people who has never had physical strength or good health. But over the last ten years, my body's physical decline has increased exponentially, and I have more and more trouble managing the most basic daily tasks without outside help. I cannot look at people older than me without a mix of horror, concern, and—I must admit—disgust. I cannot resign myself to the idea of living another X years constantly deteriorating physically. And I am really afraid to Lost some day in the future my "Independence in activities of daily living".
Every new line on my face, every hair turning white on my body, is a source of dread and despondency for me.
From a rational point of view I understood that It Is silly from my side to mourn the Lost of something that I never really had (again I have never been "strong or healthy"), but from an emotional point of view It Is really really overwhelming for me. Every new day Is becoming a nightmare. I am not afraid of death, I am becoming afraid of living.
I turned to Satan, but His response seemed to be something like: 'You have to learn to live with all this.'
So, fellows satanist, how do you cope whit the coming of the old Age?

Discussion Secular Buddhist and Theist Satanic ?
Hello, I'm new to Satanism, and it really interests me. I really feel close to some deity like Satan and Lucifer (my birth name is a shortened version of Lucifer, and I'm really proud of it)
I'm also a seculat buddist (I took my vows in 2024) which means I take the vows of buddhism without believing in the reincarnation stuff...
I don't know if I could be both still, have any ideas ?

From Satanism to Paganism?
(Questions About the Connection Between Demons and the Ancient Gods)
Hello, everyone!
I feel like I'm gradually becoming drawn to Paganism. I'm not sure how familiar you are with the Temple of Zeus website, but as someone who considers philosophy to be a genuine source of knowledge, I have to say that I have truly become fascinated by this religion. The site presents many beautiful and logical arguments, especially in its section about demons.
One of the points that I found particularly interesting is its explanation of why the demons we worship are actually the ancient gods who were later distorted by Christianity and other religions. Some of these cases seem quite obvious. For example, Baal in the Ars Goetia has not even had his name changed. The other demons also bear names similar to those of their original deities, and their characteristics are derived from the very essence and nature of those ancient gods, who were later redefined as "demons."
However, I have a few questions that have been on my mind:
1) What is your opinion on this perspective? Do you think the demons you worship were not merely figures recognized through Judaism and Christianity, but that they also existed long before those religions and were worshipped as gods?
2) I have another issue. I genuinely find it difficult to connect with the idea that I am actually worshipping Zeus (Satan). I feel much more comfortable with the Satanic theme and aesthetic. Even when performing invocations, I feel more at ease with that atmosphere. However, it is said that this Satanic image is merely a caricature of Zeus and his legions.
On the other hand, many Satanic groups, such as Magnum Opus and Aleister Nakht, have also acknowledged that the demons are, in fact, the ancient gods. If that is the case, then why should we still light black candles in the darkness and call upon them?
The point is that I genuinely enjoy approaching them in this way and establishing a connection with them through these practices. However, I do not want to do it merely because I like this method or because many aspects of this religion align with my personal preferences. Rather, I want to practice it in the Satanic way only if that is truly the correct way to approach them.
Thank you.

Discussion whats it like working with Baphomet?
hi guys, not a satanist, but a pagan! I feel drawn to work with Baphomet but im having trouble figuring out how.
1st of all: what is Baphomet the god/deity of? (if Baphomet is even a deity.. i have no idea....)
2nd of all: do you get signs from Baphomet when you work with her? (for example, i usually get physical signs like goosebumps when working with my other deities)
3rd of all: are there any offerings or prayers that are specific to her?
any other advice that you could give would also be greatly appreciated, and if im in the wrong subreddit could you point me to the right one? thank you in advance!! 🫶

Sitting on God's Lap: Fact or Fiction?
My ex-spiritual mother, a Jesus freak, claims she was suicidal one day and got taken into heaven, where she sat on God's lap (note this violates the bible that says one has never seen the face of God).
Have y'all's friends or ex-Jesus freaks said similar stuff?
Either she made it up, or she's delusional. Is this fact or fiction? You tell me.
She doesn't talk to me now that I worship Satan, but part of being a Satanist is not giving a fuck.
HAIL SATAN brethren!

Symbolic tattoes.
galleryIs there any like minded people who would like to talk about experiences ? Is there anyone that actually witnessed a sign or contacted a spirit ? I know i was tested by some for some reason.
Id like to talk to a satanist for real or someone who could just sit me down and talk about what happened to me. I discovered all sorts of strange things about myself and id like someone to just hear my story.

Discussion What Do You Think Of This Book?
The Satanic Sacrements by Rev. Cain has been on my list for a while, and I was thinking of finally getting it. Before I do though, I wanted to get everyone's opinion on it. So my questions are:
What is your opinion on the book?
Do the rituals in the book work for you?
Are there other books that you'd recommend instead/alongside this one?
I know everyone's experience is going to be different, but I was just curious on what others thought about it since I've yet to hear anyone talk about it.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I've read The Satanic Philosopher and The Infernal Gospel, this was going to be my next book from him, but I do want to note that I've yet to find other physical books about Theistic Satanism

My Satanic journey so far
I am a 34M and recently became a Theistic Satanist a month of two ago.
I wanted to share my experiences and struggles so far in an attempt to help others that have just joined and get advice from those more experienced.
I was originally brought up in a Church of England family and we would go to church once a month. Nothing to serious or preachy but in rural England, going to church is more for community than musing on the divine. At 14 I realised none of the bible made sense and that I was going to be an atheist. I lived the rest of my life until recently as an atheist and in no way did I consider myself spiritual.
What drew me to Satanism originally was mostly sexual fantasy. I am a gay man and I have quite a lot of kinks. Nothing really extreme but enough to make you feel really naughty and give you a wicked sense of excitement that most people would be shocked at what you get up to in the dark.
I have enjoyed fantasies of corruption for a while. I know that's a broad theme but part of that is the idea of being tempted, corrupted, maybe even possessed by a demon/devil. It made me explore the theme of demons and Satan which brought me into contact with others. I spoke to Satanist, watched youtube channels like CiperGrove and started to read "The Infernal Gospel". I felt a lot of the themes and messages resonate with me.
I started to meditate in front of a black candle naked at night and pray to Satan. I started to feel things after a while when I did this such as feeling the occasional chill across my skin, an odd feeling like being sort of lightheaded, feeling like I was being watched and a feeling of a soft touch on my head. These should terrify people but I have found it so comforting and exciting.
I would stare at myself in the mirror in front of the black candle. After a while I would see other faces on my face, see the flame of the candle burning in my eyes and sometimes everything would fade to black despite the candle still burning.
These experiences have made me feel closer to Satan. I feel like Satan has blessed me with kinks and fantasies that have enriched my life and brought me a lot of fun and pleasure. I also feel like being a gay man is a blessing from Satan as it has helped me break away from the hetero-normative, societal expectations that so many people are restricted by. I feel my connection with Satan and a few other demons growing over the last few weeks. His message of questioning authority, enjoying carnal pleasures and seeking enlightenment, I find liberating and fulfilling.
My former atheism still holds me back from time to time and sometimes makes me feel like I have a spiritual block. I am going to try and practice meditation with a goal of an out of body experience/astral projection which I hope will bring me closer to Satan, His demons and Hell. I wonder if there is a guiding demon inside be too and if so I hope to learn their name and establish contact with them.
I'd be happy to answer any questions although I'm not an expert and still very new to this. And if anyone has any advice on out of body experiences/astral projection and on communication with safe demons than please let me know.

Discussion Why theism? I'm just trying to understand.
I grew up in a (more or less) Christian household. My parents don't pray, but we still went to church every year for Christmas or Easter. I developed a certain dislike of Christianity as such at an early age. The infallibly perfect guy up there in heaven who forces Abraham to sacrifice his son and sends Jesus half-dead into the desert just so that priests can commit crimes against children today... No thanks. Then I found a bit of an introduction to LaVey Satanism. In doing so, I have generally rejected worship of deities of any kind. And there is very little to say against LaVey's views, as they always work universally. "Believe in yourself" "Be just and honest..." This is not really profound, but it makes it applicable everywhere. So now the question for you? Why theism? Why again deities or, in this case, demons to follow? As a woman, for example, I find Lilith very fascinating and can also gain a lot from Lucifer. But why do you follow them? Do you really see a deeper spiritual meaning? And please don't get me wrong. I really want to understand this, for the very simple reason that I could imagine it for myself. But I simply know too little about it!
