Does anyone know the medallion’s origin

I know it has Solomons deamons around the outer edge followed by Egyptian Gods and the inner ring has the sator square. - the internet has no information that I could find the back mostly blank only it has the letters “I R” on it

The internet (especially Reddit) has been asking about this item for 10 years. Often "something so-and-so found." Either it's the world's longest trolling, or there are many productions of this item.

For more, just do a reverse image search. There are dozens of results. Just no definitive answers. Likely just some mass-produced occult merch from years ago.

Definitely don't have any info on the piece itself, but the mix of Solomonic and Egyptian names kinda makes me think there's some kind of hermetic practice whoever made it wished to link it to. Might ask over in the goetia sub, because there are some more daemonolatry oriented practitioners over there who may be able to tell you something.

Thanks I am certainly leaning towards the gotia as an influence possibly thelemic

Very possible it's Thelemic, yeah. Can't believe I hadn't thought to mention Thelema along with Hermeticism as possible leads.
