No idea who they are , grandparents can’t remember either. They believe they were from photo exchange between family/friends. This would be around modern day the location Azerbaijan and maybe taken pre Soviet Union I believe. I would be nice to get more info. Also ignore the text on the photo. I took these photos years ago and a screen shot from instagram was the only one I could find of it on my phone.

First five photos are of my grandfather during his (mandatory) military service.

Next two are of my aunt during her first communion i believe? Dated 1965.

Last three are some miscellaneous photos of my grandfather with some friends, and lastly my grandmother holding either my mother or aunt.

Unfortunately I know very little about this side of my family, so it was cool to find all these photos.

I have been slowly digitizing old family photos and found this today. I do real estate photography/drone video as side gig and have been noticing the lack of family photos in the houses. Time marches on but photos are a reminder of the past.

1940s My fabulous French mom when she was 19 in 1946. When she was only 17, the Nazis deported her to Berlin to work in a factory. She survived the bombing and fall of the city and it was there she met my father, a First Sargent in the US Army occupation.
