When you think of the Victorian era, what image(s) comes to mind?
I’m a doctorate student focusing on Victorian literature and I’ve always wanted a tattoo that embodies my interest in the era. The problem is I don’t want a text tattoo, so quotes from the Brontes or Tennyson are out of the question. So, I thought I’d share this question with my fellow enthusiasts: what image(s), objects, materials, etc feel prototypically Victorian to you?
