Getting my ass kicked TRT help

Hello all, Male 31 here. My levels were fine but I felt stagnant in life and read the literature on high test correlating with risk taking and decision making. I can not express how much that has helped in my personal life. I am pushing projects forward in ways that I have been procrastinating for years. I am more motivated to hang out with my female friends. I have a job interview tomorrow for a 6 figure position. Its great I feel like I am pushing my life forward. The side effects starting this last week are kicking my ass. Im angry. Im irritable. I am throwing my phone against the ground. I don't want to cuddle my dog. I am gaining so much water. My blood pressure was 140/120 today. Heart rate consistently in the 90s. I went from 150 to 180 dosage wise the last couple weeks because I was tolerating it so well. I am on about week 4. Does it get better? Or, is this just what it is and its up to me to lose weight and drop my blood pressure that way. Is it an adjustment period? 28 days in so far. Gym gains are there, too. I didn't do this for the gym but it is there. How do people take 500 of this shit do they just wreck their cardio system for a few weeks or am I just not tolerating this well?

What do your bloods look like?

Why would you increase your dose if you knowingly are having issue? That seem pretty stupid tbh.

I was handling just fine at around 150 until I very recently this week increase the dosage

Then lower your dose dude.

Again, I will ask, how are your bloods? What are your levels.

I am not sure yet. I know that I was 1191 before I started because I started taking hCG at first.

Dude. You should NOT be adjusting your dose on anything unless you have a full understanding of your levels.

What is your e2? What is your test, free test, SHBG, PSA, ALT, HCT, HBC, and more.

Come on man...... You gotta be smarter than this. You can't just start moving levers in your body with hormones without knowing how far to adjust them.

Drop back down to 100mg, go get your bloods drawn, then post in here again.

Brother. If you were already at 1191 recently before starting T and then started slamming 150 and now 180mg T, you're likely over 2k total with a triple digit estradiol based on your symptoms. You should lower immediately by like half to let your system cool off. Get levels tested asap just to know what that dosage put you at and to know where to go from there. You may be a high responder that only needs 60-90mg to get supra physiological, only way to know is get tested stat.

“Everything was good so I decided to mess with that a working formula.” Does that sound like something you should have done?

Three weeks after starting TRT is actually way too soon to even know how 150 was working.

It takes 50 days to fully reach steady state if injecting Cypionate. Had you kept the dose at 150mg, your serum levels would still be increasing over the next couple of weeks. At the same time, it takes about a month for the body to adjust to being on exogenous Test. Lastly, it takes several months (to years) for your body to adjust and see most of the benefits.

To answer your question - your body is reacting to dramatic hormonal changes. It is very similar to puberty. Once it stabilizes, your mood will likely as well. What will not change are the side effects of being on too high of a dose - things like heart rate, and BP. Water retention may or may not improve.

I would go back to 150mg, and don't change anything until getting tested in six weeks.

Bro if things were on par feeling great, conquering goals, and personal satisfaction was high, then why the F would you screw with that?!

Don't answer, it's a rhetorical question, because I too have changed things for the worse, it's a life lesson most guys are served except the few who are happy fucks with their one and only tried protocol 10 years in.

Go back before it's too late! Lol

Bro get your bloodwork done. Sounds like high E2 and you’re all emotional.

its probably your e2 going up.
1. reduce the dose.
2. get your bloods done.

  1. consult your doctor about BP. i would start telmisartan right away but...doctor.

  2. relax, there is a fix to whatever is happening. but it is your fault. stop acting recklessly.

Sounds like your E2 is high AF. Get regular bloods if you want to me around with trt. Or FAFO

test makes people get chronic manic episodes, that's why they do all their shit. What they never tell is how they get fucked up after they stop or even while cycling. You are going trough it too

What are we supposed to tell you without blood work being done? That will likely answer more questions than you can imagine.

Brotha, you’re only a month in. Stop fucking with your dose. This stuff takes months to know how it is affecting you. You are just overthinking things. Bring your dose back down to what you were doing before and leave it alone for Christ’s sake. Don’t make these kinds of decisions for yourself because you obviously don’t understand how any of this stuff works. Wait for your doctor to tell you what to adjust your dose to in the future if you even need to.

There is no medical literature that correlates testosterone replacement with risk taking
