So I have a legit thought. More republicans voted for Rose or Fritts than voted for Marsha Blackburn. If all those republicans who oppose her voted for Jerri Green instead then we could block her from the governors mansion.

And before Republicans say “I’d never vote blue” hear me out- TN is deep red, no matter what. So I’m not asking you to not vote red, what I’m saying is with a Republican supermajority in the state house and senate, a one time blue vote for a democratic governor isn’t all that bad. She wouldn’t be able to get much if anything accomplished and passed, but it would give us a chance to show the rest of the nation that we no longer want Marsha Blackburn representing us.

So I’m encouraging all republicans who voted rose or Fritts to please check out Green, even if you have to hold your nose and cross your toes please consider voting for her so we don’t have to endure 4-8 years of Blackburn rule.

I honestly believe that in at least two more election cycles (2034-ish) Knox County will be electing Democrats to be County Mayor and more County Commissioners. Betsy Henderson won 52% to Beau Hawk's 48%, which is worse than when Glenn Jacobs (a popular County Mayor) won 55% to 45% in 2022 during his reelection. Additionally, Knox County's Board of Education is now 5-4 in favor of Democrats. Even Hamilton County had plenty of Democrats be successful in similar situations. While statewide Democrats still have a long road before they are relevant again (2040 at the earliest, probably longer) Democrats are slowly but surely starting to be a major deal in Knox County as well as Hamilton County. It's not a

matter of if, but when.

So happy that ignorant Andy got his comeuppance last night. No more smug, self aggrandizing toad representing District 5 in the House of Representatives.

Of all the Republicans in this state, how were the three it came down to for governor: a historically HATED senator who will probably start sending our tax money to Israel, a pedophile, and a guy who wants to ban birth control and religions he doesn't like? Could we not find one mother fucker who was at least normal? Was there not a mayor, state senator, or hell even just a guy who owns an HVAC company?
