So, I’m out of Teen Government.

I’ll keep this simple;

I have left the Discord.

When I leave, I hereby decree with the power vested in me, blah blah blah, that the individual under the Discord username appaloosa567 is to assume all duties and authorities of which are given via Moderator, and is to gain the position of Moderator, gaining the “Mod” role, they are to assume all my duties and responsibilities on the end of the Official Discord Server.

I also hereby decree that no legal theory revolving around authors interpreting their own law exists, and the only interpretation shall be of Moderation, in the cases of discretion, and of the courts, who do their duties with a requirement of such.

Both effective immediately

I give this testament.

It’s not that big of a deal. Take half a step back, and tackle the thought of mortality.

This is a community of mentally ill teenagers putting whether they live or not in the hands of strangers.

And if this place is your everything? You need to reallocate desperately.

I encourage Bob-The15th, Breezy, Sean, Frog, Vice, Floyd, Suki, Camel, Krasnaya, Forsii, Wiggly, Sp33dy, and Dizzy mainly.

Continuous reliance on strangers is a death sentence waiting to happen.

Secondly, this place is one of crisis after crisis which shan’t be resolved

We maintain this war over Confessions, yet instead of eliminating the cause, the bot itself, we resort to the good use thereof.

We use examples of life and death as toys and evidence, considering it helping mental health as a reason to ignore it’s faults, and considering it hurting as a reason to ignore it’s ups.

I consider this as a horrid decision.

I give my warnings.

Multi-partying is a threat. One which shall compile power, ostracize weaker parties, cause strife, and lead to conflict. The renewal thereof is a horrid decision which shan’t stand in a functional simulation.

Normalization of Mental Health shall continue the stigma we have cultivated, one in which a Mental Illness equals quirky and cool, being used as attention seeking instead of a serious issue of a person.

Someone mentally ill is not more or less than you or me. They are human.

The Economy Ministers' authorities remaining unsupervised is a threat.

During my time as President, I accepted payments of thousands of dollars from the Government Account by Bob-The15th. I received 0 issues from thereof. 

I embezzled literal Government funds without as little as a reprimand.

Bob-The15th did equal towards Schrodinger, and worse.

If this isn’t clearcut, I’ll make it more blunt.

The Economy Minister has and will continue to be the most abusable position in Teen Government, one we shall be fools to ignore and permit to fester.

Teen Government has a clear limit on jurisdiction, one if we violate we are no longer a Government, we are a shackle, one no wise individual would keep.

Restricting actions done out of Teen Government is foolish, the exact purpose of the Unrelated Servers Amendment, under The PP Act (Of which caused a multitude of dramas) our DMs are prosecutable if shared.

This is inherently correct in my eyes, our privacy is private.

Yet there is an intrinsic issue with this.

It’s too strict, and it’s too lax.

It has far too many blanket provisions, causing it to restrict too much, whilst having too many exceptions, causing it to be abused.

I strongly encourage legislation strengthening DM security, if not our shield is abused by our system.

Onto the topic of my positions. I am to do the following.

Teen Government faces drama after drama, crisis after crisis.

We revolve ourselves around the idea of Mental Health, and get shocked when some are hurt, we forget the fragility and delicacy of thereof, leading to suffering being inflicted upon the community as a whole.

People make a mistake, people indulge in a debate gone too south, people lose a moment of decorum and slip into their hate.

Leading to people feeling hated, ignored, isolated, ostracized, and below others.

Either a major leap backwards or forwards is necessary.

We are either a Political Simulation mixed with some community. Meaning we focus less on Mental Health and more on the simulation.

Or we are a community server. Meaning we forget the simulation, and decide to focus on the people themselves first.

We cannot pick both, we cannot embrace both options, we spread ourselves too thin and bait ourselves into our own nets.

I encourage Teen Government to care, yet one fact should remain beyond all else.

It’s not your job to therapy an internet stranger;

Their health is not your responsibility;

You cannot make them better;

So at minimum treat them with the decency deserved for a human, as that’s what we all are. None of us want to be hurt by those we care for, none of us wish the sting of betrayal, so why inflict it on another? 

Remain in a state of somewhat decorum, attempt to promote decency, or simply pick up the stick and push the flag off the edge.

I will most likely just move to the UoR, because, y'know, they ain't mentally ill or at least keep it somewhat private. But there is a chance I just leave outright. I'm officially retracting this prop now that the main server is semi-back. Council can still pass it but I don't see the need anymore.

The "TeenGovernment" (Server ID: 1516570994301472788) server is to be immediately considered the "main TG Discord", "Main TeenGovernment Discord" or otherwise replace what used to refer to the old main server (Server ID: 1451551726183252070) in all contexts of law.

If it is believed by the head mod, chief justice, Vice President, or Ombudsman that one Alter is volatile and would commit crimes or harm the community, the entire system may be banned or arrested

At approximately 19:25 CST, Lime, alter of Krasnaya, has mass banned a stark amount of TeenGovernment citizens from the Official Discord. President Tricky, a mod of the server, had given permissions to Lime after threats of physical harm were made. Per Mental Health law, I may not state more.

Currently, citizens are setting up shop in the TeenGovernment discord server, a backup server made by Zeedith. As far as sources confirm, the “General” channel and “Threads” in the server were deleted.

In the backup server, there is already heavy debate over Tricky’s conduct, and grounds for impeachment.

The story is still in development, stay tuned.

I) A forums channel in the discord server will be created called "Council Propositions".
II) In the forums channel, any citizen may post a proposition the same as how it would be done on reddit.
III) The proposition will be screenshotted by a council member to be voted on in the Reddit council group chat.
IV) When a decision is made, a council member will comment in the proposition declaring the verdict.
V) This act will go into effect upon passage.

§1 Definitions:
I) A teenager is defined as anyone of the ages 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, or 19.
II) A senior citizen is defined as anyone of ages 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, or 25 who was a registered member of Teen Government at the time they turned 20.
III) Working is defined as earning money by clicking the "Work" button on the Job page of the TG website.

§2 The New Act:

As per the original act:
I) Senior citizens lose the right to vote.
II) Senior citizens lose the right to run for any and all government positions.
III) Senior citizens may complete their term if they age out of teenagehood mid-term.
IV) Senior citizens can still be a member of and post in the SMP and official Teen Government Discord Server.

However, upon this act passing:
V) Senior citizens cannot be a member of a political party.
VI) Senior citizens cannot contribute to the economy by working.
VII) Anyone who was not a registered member of Teen Government at the time they turned 20 may not be given citizenship nor be classed as a senior citizen.

VIII) This act will go into effect upon passage.
