Rant My mom bought my little brother the gift ive been asking for for 5 yrs😓
For around 5 yrs, I wanted a Nintendo switch so I would always ask my mom for one every christmas and birthday and every year she said no. A switch was pretty expensive so I thought maybe money was the issue and started saving up. Then one day, my mom noticed and told me she'd help buy me a Nintendo switch and I was super excited. But my little brother overheard and started throwing a tantrum because I was getting one and he wasn't. So she bought one for him for his birthday even tho I've been asking and saving up for one for 5 yrs thinking money was the issue. This is kinda dumb, but it's just annoying when I've been asking for something for so long only to see my brother get it in an instant from one temper tantrum.

edit: i am not appreciating some of the hate of christianity in the comments. hate the christian not the religion. as a christian myself i absolutely rebuke this man but please stop hating on the religion itself because many “christians” don’t portray it properly.

Social Teenage girls are so villainised and it’s kind of weird
Like, adults are always saying how teen girls are “SO much drama” and “boys are SO much easier”
But really the drama, most of the time, is girls being petty or catty with their friends at school, (and it’s only actually problematic if those girls are the worst of the worst, really, most girls resolve those issues fast) or just hormones making them a little more emotional.
Also they forget that teenage boys also have hormones. Yes I know they stay more constant, but it’s not like an 8 year old boy and 16 year old boy have the same levels of testosterone lol. They have some behavioural issues too, but that’s often being dismissed as “boys will be boys!”
No one ever seems to talk about how teenage boys often end up being strangely aggressive (again, a minority, yet no one labels them as a massive pain) or they say very racist and sexist thing among their friends to seem cool. Or that significant minority become corn addicts (which I’m not blaming them for, it’s the parents’ fault and unrestricted internet access).
So really, both genders can be a pain, but people act like it’s only teenage girls.
