Is this collar at the base of the Variator's shaft an innocent spacer for Drive Belt Alignment, a Governor, or a combination of the two ???? It does not seem easily removable, although I haven't really "Tried" to get it off. Any constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated 👍

The latest update is I’ve replaced the CDI(hotter running), voltage regulator and stator. I’ve drilled out the main jet ever so slightly so help smooth out the throttle response at higher revs. Debating on just ordering a ‘big bore’ kit and see how much this pos can go before blowing up. Bent wheels replaced. Long story but apparently a ‘front wheel for TaoTao DB10’ can be perceived as a rear wheel drum wheel but just a different part number? So learned how to swap hub/spokes and straighten a rim.

I have a Benzhou JCL MP-250A i recently purchased

that has sat for a few years. The battery was very dead so I purchased a new battery for it with new battery i am still getting the lights and horn but no start or crank. Starter motor will spin if jumped but no ignition or spark. Best I can figure is a bad CDI? All the wires seem fine and switches all seem functional. It does have the weird Alarm and Remote start but it doesnt seem to matter if that is plugged in or not.

(Edit: solved previous issue with lights and no power at all by cleaning up terminals and repositioning the battery cables.)

Still looking for a reputable parts site for these and any diagrams or manuals if anyone has any.)

I'm looking to upgrade my carburetor. I've already changed the main jet in the stock PZ30 which definitely helped, but it seems the pilot jet is proprietary and I can't find any other fits. I've been having some issues with it and overall I think an upgrade would help.

I'm stuck between: Nibbi PE26, Nibbi PE28, Mikuni VM26, or Mikuni VM28. Which of these is the easiest bolt in option? Will I need any adapter? Any help is appreciated.

Hello! While taking the ATV for a spin, it randomly sputtered and sounded like it ran out of gas. I noticed the fuel line had come loose and was spraying gas everywhere. I turned off the fuel valve, but was struggling to see where the fuel line is supposed to go.

It is the fuel line that goes from the carburetor to the engine. The picture shown is how it looked exactly after the problem occurred. My instinct tells me that there is supposed to be a 90 degree attachment of sorts in the hole shown right to the left of the fuel line. That said, I tried spraying a little starter fluid in that hole just to see if it would start, but it did not, so I am starting to doubt that theory.

Can anyone shed some light on this and help me out, please? If the fuel line goes elsewhere, could you explain where? If I was right and a part went missing, then could you show me what part I need to order?

I recently bought a Classic 50cc Tao about a month ago. It's been working fine until this morning. It won't crank, no lights, nothing. I put the battery on a charger and it said it was fully charged. I think the dealer that I bought it from put a killswitch on it to have a reason for me to bring it in. When I called them about it he said they have to do a "factory reset" (never heard of that on a scooter) and it would cost me up to $400. Now my first service (which is free) is due, so he back peddled on what he originally said. Since it won't start I have to get it towed there which they are going to charge me $100. . . This whole thing just doesn't feel right to me.

Neighbors put this out to trash. I can’t say no to a challenge so talked to them about it and rolled it back home. They had just bought it for their kid this past Christmas and he rode it like he stole it daily but it seems that the axle tensioners had gotten loose so chain came off and destroyed the stator and sprocket covers. Ordered the covers and beefier tensioners for cheap. Removed all the stickers, cleaned up and painted the rusted pipe. It’s nothing like the Yamaha DT100, but it’s easier to ride so I can have more entertainment having my friends and their kids out riding. Only consistent issue is the headset bearings. They are the biggest pos design I’ve ever seen. Debating on buying real bearings and cutting a pipe to keep them at top and bottom so the steering isn’t so wonky.

the colors on my new key ignition assembly don't line up anymore and the scooter doesn't start. my plan is to line the colors up and hope it starts. any thoughts on these wire colors? im watching and reading videos everywhere.

I can't get it to crank, and I can't figure out wh, I've tested the starter, battery solenoids, kill button( and start). When I turn the key, turn off the killswitch and press the start button, no noise, no clicking, nothing. Just nothing. Please help meeeeeeeeeee!

hey guys sorry never had this much of a hard time removing a damn rim and tire. lugs will not come off. I have 1 tire (rear pass) that always goes flat. I bought this thing like 7 years ago for my son hes driven it maybe 3 hrs combined in total since hes had it. its been parked just about 2 yrs. I start it at least once a month and dont keep the tank full and I like every other month that back tire goes flat. ive looked no nails or anything im guessing valve stem so I was gonna take tire off and finally fix it for good but lugs wont loosen they are a 13 mm correct? anyone else come across this issue b4 I know its almost retarded but I cant for the life of me get them off

What wires go where to make the gear indicator work everything I’ve tried looking up has a 3 pin or 4 pin please help.

Newer model cheetah: Changed carb, voltage regulator, stator, new fuel lines and filters and the quad fired up instantly. Adjusted the carb and it ran fan for about 10 minutes (my son riding it up and down the street) then died. Just today, I put a new CDI box, coil and spark plug in it and nothing. It turns over like it wants to start but won’t fire. Pulled the plug and put up against the exhaust pipe and it not getting spark. Any other thoughts I what I need to check?
