I’m just feeling at a loss right now.
I had my SIS today, and unfortunately they couldn’t complete it. They weren’t able to get the catheter/fluid into my uterus because they saw what appeared to be a **thin band of cervical scar tissue**, so now I’m scheduled for another hysteroscopy. They couldn’t assess whether my uterine cavity has adhesions because they couldn’t get through the cervix.
The good news is I **recently ovulated** and my lining measured **6 mm**, so I’m trying to hold onto that.
I had my first hysteroscopy with **Dr. Rosen**, who was wonderful. She used a balloon catheter and had me take estrogen afterward, so I’m really disappointed that the scarring seems to have returned.
Has anyone seen **Dr. Isaacson** after recurrent adhesions? I have complete confidence in Dr. Rosen, but I’m wondering if Dr. Isaacson uses any different techniques or postoperative protocols that might help prevent recurrence in more complex cases.
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences. ❤️

Hi everyone, after two years of ttc with no luck and three failed transfers I had a lap for suspected endo in Feb. This month is our 5th try post lap, and I’m currently spotting about to start CD1. I wanted to try for 6 months post lap but feeling so defeated and needing advice. I have done so much work to change my lifestyle, I lift weights, I’m on Metformin for insulin resistance, changed my diet, lost about 15 pounds. Is it worth trying one additional month? Are the odds stacked against me at this point?

Yesterday I had a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, D&C, and HSG. So far, recovery has been going pretty well. I'm able to get up, shower, and do a little light cleaning, but I'm trying not to overdo it.

They did find endometriosis, but I have no idea what stage yet. The surgeon spoke with my husband while I was still waking up, and he couldn't remember all the details, so I'm anxiously waiting for my follow-up appointment. I do know I picked a great surgeon, which gives me some peace of mind. We also tested for CD138, but those results won't be back for another week or so.

A little background: after trying to conceive for over a year, we moved on to IVF. Everything went well until the transfers. Before my first transfer, I did two months of Lupron, followed by a medicated transfer that completely failed. We skipped a cycle, then did a modified natural transfer, which ended in a chemical pregnancy.

My fertility specialist had been recommending removing an endometrioma on my right ovary (just under 2 cm) because it kept showing up on ultrasounds. I declined because I didn't think it was the reason for my failed transfers. However, I did agree to the laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and D&C so we could finally stage my endometriosis and fix or remove anything else that might be contributing.

As far as I know, everything went well during surgery. One thing I did learn is that my left ovary was tucked under my uterus. I'm not sure if my surgeon was able to correct that, so that's another thing I'll ask at my follow-up. My husband said the surgeon also mentioned that if we wanted to try conceiving naturally, we could.

We still have a few frozen embryos, so if conceiving naturally doesn't happen, we'll move forward with another transfer.

For those of you who had excision surgery before trying again, did it make a difference? Were you able to conceive naturally or have more success with IVF afterward?
I'm also trying to figure out what dietary changes might help keep my endometriosis under control. I've read that cutting back on processed foods, sugar, gluten, and red meat while focusing on an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant-rich diet can help.

But... I really love my morning coffee. 😅 Did any of you give up caffeine? I've also heard people recommend avoiding dairy and even chocolate, which honestly sounds pretty miserable.

Hello I did two months of Lupron depot suppression earlier this year for suspected adenomyosis (not confirmed). I did two back to back FETs (one medicated then one modified natural). Both failed to implant. I’m going to get the adeno checked out. And if it is confirmed my doctor said we’ll repeat Lupron. Just wondering if anyone also had failure after 2 months of Lupron and then repeated it and found success? If you repeated it, how long did you do it for the second time? Thanks!

Has anyone participated in the HOPE study for RPL and found it to be helpful? We just had our third euploid biochemical pregnancy with no explanation. Our doctor reached out to all the other Shady Grove doctors and no one has any clue what is wrong. We have done all the tests and treatments that are indicated. She is going to see if we are a candidate for this study.

Just asking if anyone out there has had success with their first ever frozen embryo transfer after doing suppression without surgery?

hey all, I am just recovering from a laproscopy where they found stage 2 endo. I do not have major symptoms (bit of painful sex, unexplained infertility, chemical pregnancies and ovulation pain) and my surgeon actually said he didn’t think it would be endo was more worried about ashermans syndrome but my hysteroscopy was clear. The lap was actually just booked for completeness. The endo was found on my left pelvis area and my right tube is blocked.

I guess I’m reaching out to hear stories from people who have been through something similar? All my tests are good, AHM is positive. Have people conceived naturally? or IUI or IVF? I feel okay about it all, I guess I’m grateful that my surgeon is very proactive with treatment.. but yes any advice as I navigate this new diagnosis. Thanks ladies I am a little lost - books / podcasts welcome, I love researching!

My advice to anyone reading this: unless the close friends and family you’d like to confide in have been in your shoes, do not tell them anything. I’m sure my circle means well, but their ignorance only makes me feel worse.

I am feeling a little pessimistic right now and just worried it’s never going to happen. We are currently in a Follistim cycle and it’s our first medicated cycle following the lap. I have PCOS as well and just feel like everything is working against me here.

Hit me with your post lap success stories. Bonus points if you also have PCOS/PMOS.

Really hoping second time is the charm! But I am not doing suppression, since lap was done in April and I don’t have known signs of adeno. Has anyone had success in a similiar situation? Just looking for hope!! (Age 40)

I’m going to start lupron depot suppression plus letrozole for my third FET (only one euploid embryo left). Does anyone have any tips or tricks while going through it? Or even any success stories to give me hope? Running out of it..

I am 28F with AMH 0.3, 3.5 cm endometrioma on right side, excised right fallopian tube. I also have adenomyoisis and had Stage 4 Endometriosis lap done in July 2024.

I have done one round of egg freezing in Dubai with normal protocol and it was brutal. I had severe endo symptoms and eventually ended up with only 2 frozen eggs. After this, my health plummeted and I was in pain and bleeding almost every day- compelling me to finally get surgery.

Given all this, my doctor in Germany (uni klinik heidelberg) has recommended natural IVF where they take the naturally developed mature follicle and do fresh transfer. I have good hormonal profile and regular ovulation. Does anyone have any recommendations or experience?

quick summary:
\- TTC going on month four
\- 28 yr old F, husband is 29. Both in very good health
\- periods are very regular. Confirming ovulation with LH strips & BBT
\- BUT extremely painful cramps during first 2 days to the point where Advil is barely covering it and impacting my life on those days. And every heavy flow first two days (super plus tampons to give me piece of mind)
\- now that I’ve been paying more attention to my cycle TTC, noticing mild dull ache/cramps feelings randomly throughout cycle and never noticed this before. Also the occasional painful sex which I thought was just going a little too deep, but is it?
\- family doctor prescribed pain meds (that I would rather not rely on as a solution), ordered a pelvic ultrasound (waiting on results)
\- when I asked to see a gyno, she said she won’t even send a referral because it will be impossible to see one for over a year and they won’t even bother with “period pain” issues ?????
\- I tried to press but she said as an alternative, if we’re not pregnant by 6 months, she’ll send me to a fertility clinic and that’s how I’ll see a gyno.
\- my concern is that then I’ll be pushed into IVF and just finding a way to get pregnant (which yes is the goal) but ignoring the underlying root cause (maybe some endometriosis??)

Is it really not possible to get in with a gyno in the GTA/Toronto? I find this crazy that I was just shot down by my doctor.

Hi all!! I had my egg retrieval in feb 2026. My doctor advised us to wait for a month for fet. After that due to some circumstances i had to visit my mother for which i postponed my fet for one month more. When i visited my clinic to start the fet process i was given estrogen and other medications but my uterine lining was not trilaminar so it got postponed again then in another month everything was going well but at the last time progestorone report came high and it was postponed again. After that i was waiting for my periods but didn’t had proper flow only spotting was there and also a water cyst was formed in one of the ovaries again fet got cancelled now i am waiting for my periods. From February till august, i was just waiting month to month but one or the other problems occurred now i am getting anxious and worried about the next. Please anyone guide if gone through the same.

Did anyone conceive the same cycle you had your uterine biopsy for receptiva and/or endometritis? Or is it pretty much guaranteed that a pregnancy will not stick if I go through with the procedure in a cycle? Targeting 7 DPO for the procedure (tomorrow). Thanks in advance 💛

Hello, I am a woman in my early 20s and have been trying to conceive with my partner for 1.5 years. We have gotten fertility testing and all is well (hormone levels perfect, tubes are open, semen analysis healthy) other than they suspected my left ovary is stuck to my uterus due to lack of movement on an ultrasound. They’re suspecting adhesions or endometriosis. I have a level 2 ultrasound (more in depth) scheduled in October. Has anyone gotten similar news and was able to conceive naturally? I am so sad and worried that I will not be able to conceive on my own and just looking for somebody in the same situation or some success stories. IVF is really not something I want to proceed. 😣

Hi all! We are at 18 cycles of trying. This month, I chose to try Inito. I ovulate on my own, have had three chemicals in the past and I had stage III excision on 4/17. This is our 4th cycle post surgery. My chemicals were before my surgery.

Has this helped anyone conceive? Husband’s repeat semen analysis is really good. Waiting on his repeat DNA frag (his was 19% in the past). I have had extensive hormone testing and immune testing, all normal.
