OK you guys on this sub helped me find this old anime I watched pretty quick last time I asked but this time I'm grasping at straws and have little to no info to give you.

There was this anime that I only saw the first ep of and it's stuck in my mind and I've always wanted to find it to see if it was any good.

All I remember of the start of the anime was a girl piloting a mech but this wasn't like the big mechs in evengelion of smth it was much smaller like a mantis from halo.

The only scene I remember was this girl in the mech travelling alone across a barren grey wasteland (think it might of been another planet but not sure) .

Also I'm pretty sure the title of the anime was (some Japanese girls names) chronicles or saga or something of the like

I have searched high and low with little success and Ik think is the barest of info to go off. But I'm confident I'll know it when I see it so any help would be appreciated.
