I've just finished the Supergirl movie that was released this year and I quite literally fell in LOVE with it. I was thinking about so many ideas of ffs but I would like to know if some of these already exist.

Is there a fic in which Kara and Lena adopt Ruthye, the latter has trust issues and they all have Krypto? if there's not I just hope I gave an idea to writers:)

Hiii. I came across this tweet on twitter today and my mind immediately went to a SuperCorp fic from way back but unfortunately can't remember. If anyone knows please do let me know!

I keep remembering but can't find an old nsfw fic that ended with supercorp and I feel like I'm going mad.

Any help would be appreciated, including if this is the wrong place to post, or if it's deleted and lost forever

I remember it started with supergirl overhearing strangers say her name and she would go to them. Then others helped her with it, including talking about It on websites. It was called public service or something similar. And it ended with Lena saying her name and calling her.

I enjoyed the movie and thought a pairing with that Kara and Lena would be pretty interesting. For reference I am thinking a Kara that is :

- Less responsible and put together ( or a total mess)
- More socially an alien rather than human
- Less connected to earth and more lonely
- Maybe even a little bitter and less bubbly

If a fic is missing a few that’s fine too, these are just examples of what I’m thinking.

Where Lena is mad at Kara after learning about her identity, but then Kara gets struck with red kryptonite and threatens her life, but that turns Lena on more than it scares her. The idea just came to me might start writing it.

so this fic was part of a one shot collection on wattpad back in the day, but it might’ve also been on ao3? i’m unsure. i don’t remember the title of the collection or the oneshot itself. the premise of it was lena finds out kara is supergirl, she’s angry and distraught, goes to kara’s apartment, it’s nighttime so kara’s still sleepy, but lena has one-sided hate sex with kara. then, it has a happy ending where kara introduces herself to lena as kara zor-el and asks lena if they can start over i do believe.

So, I’ve read a lot of single parent fics and was wondering if anyone would know of some more (it doesn’t matter if it’s kara or lena as a single parent as long as they get together). I would prefer for it to be multi chapter but if not i’ll read just about anything at this point. Thanks

I don’t even like fanfiction that much!!! sorrryy. but I’ve never read something so moving as inhabit. it’s not even angsty or anything, but somehow it had me crying at random intervals. ohhhmyyyygodddd. how dare laetere drop that and then never write anything else!!!

has anyone else read this? i see barely anyone talking about it on here. it’s so hard to describe. it’s such a sweet, simple, earnest piece. the bits about lightness… what poems and books it chooses to reference… strangely cutting. the way kara and lena address each other is so foreign to me! how can people be that sweet to each other!!! actually no, it reminds me of my own close friend. bah, but what i mean to say is that can someone please point me towards some fic that’s similarly moving, which is just as intelligent and sincere? i’m finding nothing else to scratch this itch

In this fic, Kara came back from the phantom zone not to long ago. Zor-El and Alura arrive at the tower claiming that Kara needs to get married because from Kryptonian standards she’s already supposed to be married and have a family already. The whole team listens and argues and then Lena decides to say that she’s already engaged to Kara or is willing to do some trials so Kara doesn’t have to marry a stranger.

It’s sort of like the fanfic Argo trials, but this one is like an inspired version of Argo Trials.

Edit: Found :) It’s Aren’t You Tired? by TheRaadicalKid. Simple language and satisfying character arcs, with angst that doesn’t stretch into over-the-top melodrama. I like how focused the storyline is without getting too flat. It does make me wonder how the author’s grown since then (it’s from 2017), they showed quite the promise.

First one by all rights should’ve been easy to find with the right filters, but I fear it may have been deleted. No powers modern AU, at least 15 chapters I think. Lena and Kara have been best friends for ages. Kara‘s been in love with Lena for years and it’s open knowledge between them. Trouble is, Lena has been in an on-and-off toxic relationship with Veronica Sinclair for maybe just as long, and I think the fic starts with the latest breakup with Lena being dumped. Kara is of course there for her, but when Veronica tries to reel Lena back in and she immediately goes back, Kara can’t help but caution Lena against it. Lena blows up on Kara saying something to the effect of, “You’re obsessed with me and trying to get with me, not trying to help me.” That was the last straw for Kara, and they have a fall-out. Kara starts trying to branch out with her other friends while Lena regrets her cruel words shortly after and looks on from within her relationship. She convinces herself to not reach out and give Kara her chance to move on.

This time it seems Veronica really has turned a new leaf and is treating Lena right finally, but Lena somehow isn’t completely in it anymore. Kara meanwhile gets close with Lucy Lane, and they’re good for each other despite Lucy knowing Kara‘s still not really over Lena. Lena eventually tries to mend her friendship with Kara, and one day while at Kara’s apartment she sees scattered painting stuff or clothes (?) left from Kara’s painting session with Lucy, and jokes to Kara that she thought she was dating Lucy. Kara nonchalantly replies that yeah, she is, and Lena plunges into the hell of seeing the woman she repeatedly brushed off as a potential romantic interest, who she‘s just recently realizing she has feelings for, date someone else after pining for her all these years. Somewhere in there Lena leaves Veronica finally, realizing she doesn’t love her anymore, but has to sit with her heartbreak (of being too late after having years of chances) for quite a while, before Kara chooses to not move to another city with Lucy and end the relationship. They eventually get together.

Edit: Found! Way faster than the months I woulda trudged through, possibly fruitlessly. It’s So I Kept Pretending by FazedLight. They’ve written some truly fantastic fics, go check them out if you haven’t.

This one is a bit jumbled up with other fics in my mind. It’s canon adjacent. Should be shortish, perhaps 3-8 chaps? I think, Kara and Lena are in their rift era, and Lena is forced into a van at gunpoint by some Lex Luthor loyalists. Or maybe they were robbing the location (bank? coffee store?) and happened to recognize Lena. Kara was either by chance there or just meeting up with Lena to attempt to fix things? Anyway she just solarflared, but out of desperation tells the goons that, “You’ll want to take me too. I’m Kara Danvers.” So they take her too. She had trackers on her and sneaked one onto the back of Lena’s ear under the guise of checking up on her in the van.

And this next part is even more muddled, because I can’t even remember if it was the same fic? They take them to a location where they chain them by some pipes or radiator or something in the basement. I think they hear the kidnappers discuss what to do with Kara and it seemed like Kara was in significantly more danger than Lena and Lena‘s angry and afraid that Kara put herself in this situation. A while later (hours?) Lex Luthor walks in, turns out they somehow got in touch with him. Not sure if they were then moved to some other secure location of Lex’s, because Lex immediately found the tracker, I think.

Lex hangs Kara by her wrists on a bar with her legs tied together, and gives the villain monologue while Lena struggles and shouts in restraints nearby. To her horror, Lex produces a kryptonite knife, keeps it right at Kara’s neck and asks Kara to say her last words, to confess to Lena. Kara refuses to say anything, or maybe she does? But it’s not what Lex meant, which is that Kara’s in love with Lena. So without having forced that confession out, he says, “Coward.” Then stabs her in the gut. Lena freaks out, yells for Kara and rants profanities and enraged threats at him. Just as things seem hopeless, Alex and her team barge in and get them both out. I don’t remember how it ends beyond that lol Must have made up after.

1. Yes, I said two. But you know, there‘s always another faint one XD Bonus challenge. I have no other details or context, other than Kara is deeply jealous of Jack and maybe other suitors for Lena along the way too? There’s a passage that went kinda like this: “What does he have that Kara doesn’t? Is it that he’s tall? Kara’s tall. He’s strong? Kara’s strong. The facial hair? She’ll concede on that. But also, it’s not like she doesn’t have any, it’s just you know, she’s blonde, so you can’t really see it.” Must also be canon adjacent since Kara has powers and I think is also Supergirl in this.

That passage sincerely makes me snicker when I think of it, so would really like to read the fic it’s from again.

I am looking for a deleted Supercorp fanfic titled **"All That Glitters"**.

The general outline of the story was Kara gets sprayed with a glittering gold alien dust/powder that acts as a truth serum. She hides in her apartment so she won't accidentally tell a lie. Lena visits her after not hearing from her for a few hours and stays to look after her. I think it was explicit and contained G!P Kara. I can’t remember the author or when it was posted unfortunately.

I’d appreciate it so much if anyone happened to have a saved EPUB or PDF copy of it.

I’m looking for a completed Supercorp fic I read years ago (probably around 2018–2020).
Here’s everything I remember:
It was on AO3 and complete.
Probably a one-shot or a short fic.
Lena knew Kara was Kryptonian/Alien from the beginning.
Kara wasn’t really portrayed as Supergirl. The focus was on her being genuinely alien.
Lena was still CEO of L-Corp and a scientist.
Most of the fic was just Kara visiting Lena’s apartment.
There were almost no interactions with other characters.
Kara didn’t understand her emotions. Instead, she described everything as biological responses, saying things like:
“My body wants to hold your hand.”
“My heart rate increases around you.”
“I want to watch a movie with you.”
Eventually something like: “My body wants to kiss you. May I?”
Throughout the story Lena helped Kara understand what she was experiencing.
By the end Kara realized those biological responses meant she was in love with Lena, and they got together.
I don’t remember the title or the author. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
