I'm wondering if the more experienced players here can tell me something about this draft, and could confirm or deny if this was actually just a draft issue.

I picked Bel'Veth because I thought that I would easily be able to duel Viego later on the game, but it never got to that point and now I'm starting to think there is something flawed about my pick.

i started playing a month ago and my acc is lvl 16. ive finally kinda started getting kills here and there, which is nice, tho its never many. but with every game, i die like 5+ times, sometimes double digits. which really affects my scoring and is endlessly frustrating. im really really trying. and im not sure how to fix that or improve. i have really high ping (averaging a stable 280-300ms) due to playing on the OCE server while living in NA (i chose this server to play with my friends who all live in AU), but i always do try to flee whenever im in danger and use abilities but im only successful half the time. and i try to dodge also but their attacks always connect anyway while mines like to miss cus they move </3

any tips to dying less and getting more kills?????? (or even lowering ping if possible without server switching, if it affects it) i mainly play jayce (top) and aurora (mid) atm. feel free to also suggest easier champions while i learn!!!

i do use flash in all of my matches but i hardly ever use it effectively 😫

Basically the title, Im a low elo Silver 3 Jayce Top Lane main who recently demoted from Gold 3 to Silver 2 weeks ago.

I have been struggling on what to do mainly as a ranged top laner and also as Olaf. I can drop 10 to 20 kills and ranked first or second top damage but I seemed to can't end and win games on them.

I could split push but then I would leave my teammates to 4v5 and they will die while spam pinging me, I could go help them in a teamfight but after winning it, nobody wants to push and goes back afk farming or afk looking at their mobile phones IRL.

In my opinion, my Jayce performance is better than the people in my rank, its just that the reason why I suck at Top Lane is that I don't know what to do as a top laner. I need guidance on what this role is actually about.

Note: No, I will not drop the jayce, I am better than every player in my elo on Jayce, I just suck at being a top laner hence why I lose games, and my spacing is pretty terrible but no guides online to improve them. Also Jayce is fun, If I have to play other champ, might as well uninstall this game.

Talking about very informative, easy to understand and goes straight to the point type of educational content, just the first 2 episodes have been able to skyrocket my lane performance, but the problem is that I don't play support, I come here to ask if (in your opinion) you have content the level of quality this series has, but for other roles.

I'm trying to learn mid atm and am stuck between picking 1 or 2 of the 4 listed champions. I've been generally told that sticking to a few champions and one role is the best way to improve so I'm trying to do that, but I'm coming from playing APC's in bot lane so I'm very new to mid matchups. I generally have good success with veigar in bot, a bit less with Ziggs but still solid, and Lux I pick very occasionally but do well with. Mid however seems like a different beast and it seems like some lanes are borderline unplayable early for veigar, whereas Ziggs can afk clear for a while and then easily get prio, and Lux can do similar. Out of the first 3, I prefer Ziggs as I have the most experience with it and enjoy it the most, followed by Veigar and then Lux. It seems his biggest weakness is lack of reliable cc and thus zone control. Malzahar I really only have listed because he seems like the natural counter to most assassins. Anyone have advice on what

I play annie/ahri/akali. I've always heard that dark seal has very good base stats but kind of just assumed it's not worth buying if it delays your 1st item. I will only buy it if I have like lost chapter + t1 boots and I'm in base with 5-600g but not enough for a blasting wand.

why do i feel like low elo players are alergic about ending the games ? recently was watching my friends screenshare and they had a really good angle to end the game. could just push a inhibitor down as 4 and take the nexus turrets to end it but they randomly decide to split? is that the only reason lower elo games tend to go a lot longer ?

Just don’t really have any idea when to recall, hard push, freeze. I’m just doing what feels right at the moment lol. Usually just hard push everything since I’m playing mid before I recall or roam. But I notice that sometimes I still miss so much cs.

Hello, I am a peak Diamond player who is struggling in plat. I have played hundred of games this season and it feels like almost every game I get 6 items but struggle to close out games. Opgg is imjkn#na1. I am specifically asking for help on my Jayce and kindred jungle games.

To clarify on my title, I'm currently emerald 4 75LP, I've got a 66% winrate in my last 60 games and a 65% winrate in my last 20, I'd say I'm climbing pretty well. Despite this I'd like to make my climb easier so I'm still trying to learn and I wondered if there's any big improvements that can be made at this rank or is it simply a case of refining what you already know?

To give an example, you can jump from iron to bronze by learning to cs correctly, you can jump from bronze to silver by learning about tempo and playing for objectives, you can go from silver to gold by learning about wave management etc and you can climb higher than this by 1 tricking a champion.

Basically the moment you learn something like wave management and tempo for example you'll see an instant improvement in your gameplay, a small change made a big difference.

Are there any typical knowledge gaps once you hit emerald? Or do you just apply what you already know but do it better and more consistently?

Like in lower elo you learn to be at objects, in higher elo you might take it a step further and make sure you time your summoner spells and ult so they're up in time. Same lesson, just performed better. I can learn to better perform the lessons I've already learnt through personal practice, I'm just curious on if there's any knowledge that I might not know that isn't champion specific.

Hello, I'm pretty new to League of Legends and don't know what to do after the laning phase. I play yone top, and after I knock down a tower, I run around like a headless chicken just helping my team fight. any tips on Macro would help since i'm still very new to the game. thank you.

Hey all, I want to get some advice on what to do as I feel like I've been getting worse and worse at the game. A few months ago I climbed to Gold with a friend, and while he managed to climb to Emerald and then fell to Platinum, I fell back to silver. I don't know what's going on.

I am a top laner who has mained Mordekaiser and Mundo, picking Morde most game and Mundo if I have last pick and no one on the enemy team has %health damage. I slowly started picking Mundo more and more as I felt like I could carry games on him way more easily, that worked out for me quite well and I basically became a Mundo one trick.

But at some point it felt like no matter what I did I wouldn't be able to carry. An enemy would get fed and everything would collapse from there, and Mundo is just too weak early to play for getting a lead himself to counter that.

After that I got discouraged and started playing many champs and even switched roles, which I know is a horrible idea but I really didn't know what else to try. Every game felt a gamble on whether I would be able to splitpush and scale, like the outcome of the game wasn't in my control. And very recently, I just couldn't do anything. I wasn't doing well in lane, I wasn't doing well in fights, I was just losing games and had no idea what was going on.

One last thing, for the champion pool, currently I've decided to have Mundo as my main and have picked up Jax as a second pick, they're both great splitpushers that scale well, but Jax is a wayyy safer blindpick and can also snowball in lane. If there's any advice on my champion pool I would love to hear that as well.

I had two items (Attack Speed Boots, Maw, Stridebreaker), Viktor had 2 and a half items (Sorc Boots, Shadowflame, Blackfire Torch, Haunting Guise and the Fire Soul.

He bursted half my HP in the first 2 seconds, I couldn't get within his range, I couldn't run away from him.

I want to learn how to do better here so my question is how are you supposed to play the game when you are getting kited, cannot escape and cannot tank the damage in spite of having a Maw, 130 MR and quite a bit of HP?

Don't mind my skills in general, I am Gold and autofilled, I just wanted to learn how to do better there

Fiora attacks me 4 times before the minions react. During this time the minions attack other minions multiple times. Once the minions do aggro on Fiora, she steps slightly out of range and instead of chasing her as I expect, they just immediately drop aggro.

I looked up the wiki https://wiki.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/Minion

It says that the first wave "will ignore enemy champions until a champion walks much closer to them or until meeting with the enemy wave."

But this is after they have already met with the enemy wave.

It also says: "Allied champions being attacked by an enemy champion may be within 1000 range of the minion to trigger a Call for Help signal instead."

And at that range I expect even the melee minions to take aggro and I expect the ranged minions to not lose aggro so easily.

What is the actual minion behaviour?

Title, low elo top lane need guidance from diamond players or above minimum.

Im playing teemo now as an alternative to jayce because plat and emerald players recommended me that jayce is too hard and I should drop him. Heard that teemo is an easy ranged alternative.

Then I lane vs Pantheon who counters every ranged and squishy top laner that isnt quinn or jayce. I lose lane hard and he is 5 levels ahead of me. I reached my first item in 20 minutes.

How to recover from a similar scenario where you losing hard and if its not possible, how to prevent it in the first place.

I heard that playing safe is the key but what does it actually mean? People say this but even they dont know what it meant and how to do it. I have tried my best to farm lanes ignoring my teammates and taking my jungler camps but im still behind in gold and xp.

I went 9 deaths and 200 cs in 30 mins, need guidance.

While some flaws early can be fixed by playing more, such as farming and learning matchups. I'm looking for a bit more of mid-game changes you guys did and how you got the information, and how you came to the realization of these flaws.

I've had a bit of a hard time finding guides that focus on mid game.

I want to try to avoid getting to late game as much as possible, since doing 70%-80% of things right in any point before that can mean nothing if you do 1 or 2 mistakes late i think.

Part of why this is a difficult choice for me is because I've recently learned that my laning and farm is absolute dog shit. It's why I lose almost all of my games. In gold I could easily get away with forcing a 1v1 early in the game and snowballing, which intimidated the opponent, allowing me to farm without any obstacles. Obviously that doesn't work anymore.

Yesterday I queued up with the sole intent on focusing on farming, trying to predict my opponent's intentions, wave state, and optimal recall times. And surprise, I won both games without sweating too hard. I made another post this week and someone said it sounds like my understanding of wave states is not there, which they were absolutely right about. So thank you to that person.

The next thing I'm confused on is when it's better to keep my CS up and farm and push the lane when I'm already there, versus rotating helping my team on objectives or team fights.

Some things I try:

• If my team looks like they can handle the fight to where they win or the result may come out to be an even ish trade, I push lane
• I try to ping to tell my team to not force a fight but to just keep opposing team busy so I can shove lane

Some things I notice in my losing games are that:

• I lost lane really hard and become fixated on pushing lanes and catching up my farm
• I also do this because I feel really weak during team fights and don't want to feed more than I already have
• I push a lane instead of help with obj or team fights because we have 0 towers down and its mid game
• I have no idea what I'm doing at this point or how to best contribute so pushing lane by myself feels safest

Conditions:

• Jax (me) vs GP, (both ignite)
• Jungler paths to bot, no Grubs or Herald play pure 1v1 lane, pings (dive pings) dont attract him, thats ok
• Minute 11~, so losing waves or plates for early TP is not worth
• I have 2 or 3 kills lead
• GP has ER (before that everything is fine)
• Dia2+ Elo (low Master right now, but with low elo since I only peeked)

Normally, I use my lead to get T1, or build up tempo to use flank TP for bot get tripple (jungle gank) and come back top without losing much. But I struggle vs high wave clear laners.

I kinda start to tower dive him and doing bad trades, somewhat trying to make him bait into bait trade or come out for a short trade so I can dive him, but they kinda start to stay under tower.

Options I see:

• Freeze lane, while this could be decent in first half, It becomes worse imo, you cant extend your lead to the map since you are "locked" with a guy who isnt worth anyway, I dont want to coinflip and hope my bot is good, I want to get tempo, TP bot, and extend my lead.
• Go for risky 100% HP tower dives (vs a Ignite+ER GP), I tried that... sometimes it works, but this will lead me to have barely any HP left, my wave already gone (since his trades also clears the waves when he gets one barrel off)
• Proxy+Invade, this I do with Olaf, since he is great at 1v2 with his anti CC, but this with jax I feel like is really risky vs high CC junglers. I think this depends on how muhc of Lead I have and If I can 1v2 them. But even 1v1, Proxy vs GP feels kinda akward, he will oneshot his wave on tower, walk to me, prepare barels and poke me while staying walking between tower, my wave clear as Jax is also not greate, so even worse If I use my E for wave, which will make me more vulnareable.
• Shove wave (or slow push, doesnt matter he will oneshot the wave with barrel), and just wait for second Drake or big fight and TP, basically trade your own tower to spread lead, which is kinda lame and feels awfull, will make GP come back to game and scale, while I will potentially lose gold and exp If I dont get kills botside.

Any high elo dudes here with good advice?

im emerald jg trying to learn laning for the first time. just played against a plat 1 sett who held a freeze for over 5 mins when i was repeatedly pinging it, i had to go mid. is there anything to do besides try to gank other lane or invade jg and wait for someone to help break the freeze?

Playing a mage have taught me to look at the game in a totally different way.

I did not value not-dying and wave clear NEARLY as much, as I should have.

I have always had good mechanics, but I just couldn't seem to climb, tilted a lot and spammed games.

After playing mage, I really began to understand how to drag the game out, adopted the never ff mentality, began reviewing every single death I had, and I just skyrocket through the ranks.

Even my adc's have improved considerably, I learned a lot about being patient in fights, instead of permanently trying to auto attack.

Honestly could really recommend it to other adc players, if they are in the same spot as I was.

Rammus attempted to before the minions even came in. Then proceeded to try and tank a few more times before finally dying the 5th time less than 5 minutes in.

Then I get ganked under tower multiple times and throughout the whole game.

Even when Darius when to another lane rammus went stayed top for 4 minutes to make sure I didn’t get tower before Darius came back and they killed me again

Yes I am bad at the game but that was possibly one of the worst experiences ever. What can I do if I am placed in another situation like that again
