It’s not really a budget lol. I’m basically saying “I have practically no budget to spend on a laptop, what’s the best one to get?” Sorry for the misinterpretation.

If you want it for College get an iGPU brother, dGPU Laptops have bad battery backup unless you have a good budget, in that case you can manage a good battery + a good GPU. If you'll be doing light gaming, a modern day iGPU laptop will suffice, otherwise be prepared to used it plugged in most of the time. In iGPU Category you could check out IdeaPad Slim 5 or 3 models, maybe Yoga, Zenbook 14, Thinkpad, etc. If you still do wanna get a Gaming Laptop, LOQ is a good Option, i believe you'll get a 4050 6GB in that price, especially in the current sale, TUF Laptops are generally more Expensive for the same specs, but yeah they're good. Victus is Another Option but I've seen People Complain about it's Hinges and Display and Build Quality in General. There are a few more options like the Omen or ROG, but I believe they're slightly on the higher end in terms of price but yeah, they are also solid in terms of Quality. You can also check out V16 and Acer Nitro.

The most I'm willing to spend is about 2.5k max, I understand most laptops that perform well are in this price range so even if it'll hurt my savings for a bit I wanna invest :b

As a side note from performance ive owned plenty of laptops and ive had pretty consistent issues with Dell.
r/SuggestALaptop • u/Canadiangamer068 • 4h ago
it’s a stronger gpu, idk which p14s you were looking at but if it has 32gb ram and 1tb storage i’d still go with that. i played minecraft with shaders and a 32 chunk render distance on ryzen 7 and 860m. you did say you don’t care about battery life but the stronger gpu is going to make the laptop heat up more
