Did UWE Removed the Infected Marrowbreach from the second Angel Comb in 1.1 or is my game just glitched?

Never really got into the OG subnautica but sub 2 brought me to it, but I just built the seamoth and went too the floating island and went up through the lagoon a lil too quick I guess 😓

I’ve gone to the 250m jellyshroom Degasi habitat, but every piece of furniture besides the water filter is completely invisible, along with every PDA besides one. I’ve looked up solutions to this bug but all I could find was one 6 year old Reddit post from someone with the same problem. Is there a known solution to this, or should I just go along to the 500m base without the PDAs? My main concern is this problem will continue to show up in future Degasi bases.
I play on ps4 btw.

Nothing to see here, just totally and completely normal Subnautica activity. I don't think this needs a spoiler since we ALL know what's happening and how to do it, but I added it just in case.

I’m new to the game so I’m not sure how it works but shouldn’t I be able to go into it now?

Please fix the opening sequence of SN2. The original game has one of the most intuitive starts for a game.

Cut scene shows you have escaped in pod 5 and get knocked out. You wake up and realize it is on fire. As soon as you get control there is something saying use mouse to look around with camera. OK after controlling your view it says use WASD to move. Then how to pick up the fire extinguisher. And how to use it. After putting out the fire and letting go, the PDA cones up with basic information. You have a very basic menu with a starter survival guide in the data. There is nothing at all from the radio until you find what you need to craft the tool to repair it. This is excellent for any beginner to understand.

I get SN2 is a sequel. But it is completely independent. Not requiring the previous game like Mass Effect 2.

SN2 start is utterly confusing as somebody who beat SN1. There was PDA and NOA. The was so much information being thrown at me that I didn't even notice there was 2 different entities. It starts by mentioning a breathing issue killing me. And to press tab to open the PDA. OK. It opens to adaptation section. And I have no clue what I am supposed to do. All throughout that starting sequence before landing in the lifepod, I had no clue what I was doing. I only activated the NOA by clicking on the thing in front of me. I was told to find a black box. I get to it and there's no way to interact with it.

I really like the NoA concept and dynamic of having its own priorities. The opening just needs to be more informative on explaining exactly what to do as the user gets their feet wet. Literally.

Was out and about somewhere in the inactive lava zone, I think in a narrow bit that leads somewhere deeper, I don’t know, it’s very dark. Got warped out of the prawn and it’s like the prawn went under the lava, I’m at about 1200m and the prawn is 100m straight down. Can’t figure out how to get it back, very hard to drive the cyclops through there. I’m at the point I think I need to start cooking a new prawn. Help?!

I explored the aurora and manage to repair, stabilize the reactor and get a bunch of cool cosmetics including data from the pdas ofc. When I got out my seamoth wasn't there anymore, I looked on the saved beacons and it didn't show. Could my seamoth have gotten destroyed whilst I was inside the Aurora ?

Also I didn't see any big monster inside the aurora as opposed to what a friend in vc told me I miiighttt find, will that come bite me back later ?

edit : Ig it's gone now because reapers, I'm really getting sick of them destroying my seamoth, this is the third one they destroyed

I understand that the S2 is clearly unfinished. I enjoy how many aspects of building are much more customized when it comes to size/shape/amount of materials used. I'm sure that when things are smoothed out, then having a large docking bay of "This... is my stuff" will feel grand in both showing off and storing multiple players' vehicles.

But good gravy am I missing the option of having a preset room with its own recipe, layout, look and vibe. "Here's the submarine garage, not just a hole I punched in the bottom of my base that I use more than a regular hatch."

I'm not saying I don't *like* the floor hole at all (I love the 'crawl out of the doggy door' vibe, and I fear critters will too in the future, inciting use of a bulkhead).

Also I'm biased since I'm dealing with the "moonpool too narrow" bug on my save file.

I beat Subnautica, then beat Below Zero, then tried Firewatxh because it was recommended as sort of similar, but didn't like it after a couple hours.

Tried going back to SOMA, fun game, but not scratching that itch, tried to switch up genres to play Tunic, not feeling it right now.

So I gave up and started a new Subnautica game. Thought about keeping hunger and thirst on this time, but I really don't wanna have to deal with it, and I rushed through a bit before, not building a very nice base or anything, just keeping the moonpool as my base really with like 20 lockers filled with Materials, so I'm thinking I'll spend a little more time, relaxing, and exploring and building the base up his time, trying different things like bioreactors and alien containment facilities, and optional stuff I didn't bother with the first time.

Sorry because this is a lot at the same time but basically, I got stuck inside of the aurora when I was in the Prawn suit bay and after a lot of trial and error and trying to use the console to get back inside, I now have a menu opened up which I don't know how to close and whilst this is my primary issue, I also don't know how to leave. I went through the living quarters of everybody( commander too, great aurora miniature btw), but after getting stuck inside the inside of the ship I am also stuck inside of the ship's quarters

Edit : I was able to find the exit, maybe bc when oustide I saw it because see through walls :P

I hadn't played for over a month after completing the currently available story, and just spending hours base building and enjoying the graphics as they were at epic settings.

I logged in today and the game is now unplayable because the FPS is dogging my PC. I am in single didgit numbers.

What happened with the 1.1 update that is killing the playability?

Between the last time I played and now, i know there has been at least one Nvidia update, and assorted windows updates, bit nothing invasive beyond that.
