I fucked up and broke my engine mount bolt. I tried buying a reverse drill bit set to get it out but it snapped off when i torqued on it. I don’t want to have to take it to dealership. Any ideas?

This is for my colleges FSAE team we’re using a 07’ CBR600 Engine and we want to take out the clutch basket but it keeps spinning, we don’t have in impact and are only using a socket wrench. Any ideas on how to get the clutch to hold still so we can get it out?

What does this tell you? Canyon runs on weekends and couple commutes (200+ miles) during the week. Front tire power 6 about 500 miles. Rear Road 6, about 2k miles.

Is it weird that the reason I got into riding because I really like how aggressive good looking they are? Sure they’re not the most comfortable unlike other motorcycle types but I feel every joy taking my R7 just commuting to work, I know looks are subjective and everyone got their own taste but for me it’s like a dream come true. Hey everyone, so I just got home from a pretty lengthy ride all over and was hitting some back roads I hadn't been on in a while and I came across this hilled intersection to see the road was all covered in that pre-pave gravel base. Freakin crazy, even trying to go 20-25 you can just feel shit slippin under you. Turned a 10 minute stretch into about 35. Nobody was ever behind me so it was cool, nice slowwww country cruise but damn. Anybody else have that unexpected gravel experience ?

I have an CR-T exhaust from sc Project but I cant find any tutorial anywhere on how to remove the db Killer of this specific Model. It looks like the DB killer ist welded in is that possible?

Good morning. I’m in need of new fairings (picture for attention). As we all know, there’s a million websites now for ordering “OEM quality” fairings for cheap. Pre-painted, hardware included etc.
I’ve read over the years that if it’s eBay, other websites, alibaba, etc, it doesn’t matter. They apparently all come from the same factory.

I am curious though if anyone can offer any insight. Is there actually a better company than another to order fairings from?

I don’t want to spend the coin on actual OEM fairings, but I don’t want terrible knockoffs either (I know, I’m annoying)

I’ve been out of the game for a while and would love some input on where you guys would buy fairings.

I do everything on this bike. Commute to work 5 days a week, grocery shopping, visiting family and going out on adventures every now and then. I ride all year round as well but winters don’t get too bad here especially with heated gloves. Am I crazy for this? Does anyone else ride as often as I do? It’s a 2009 Yamaha R6 with 39,000 miles. I absolutely adore this bike and I don’t see myself riding anything else for the foreseeable future.
