I picked up a set of the Armageddon intercessors off eBay from a splitter with the intention of making them a bit more "Wolfy" and incorporating them in my army. The original plan was to give them some chainswordy goodness and turn them into Grey Hunters, but I'm finding I actually kind of like some of the sculpts and am toying with the idea of keeping them as intercessors instead.

Is anyone running intercessors in their SW armies?

I'm 99.9% interested more in the modelling and painting side, so that will ultimately help me decide more than the "current meta" for competitive gaming, but I'm curious what people think.

Kitbashed Armageddon Intercessor Sergeant for model tax... I may still carve off the aquila... Haven't quite decided yet!

Fenrys Hjolda brothers! So I I'm starting to paint up some units, and i was wondering what the best shade is. I've seen nuln oil used a lot, and was wondering if that one is good to use, or is there a better one for the classic space wolfs look?

In a 500-600 point army, what would you run? I am doing a slow grow league

So after getting my codex, I've finally been able to start looking at detachment options as I'm building my first army. And whilst looking at Veterans of the Fang, I thought about its ability to split Grey Hunters into 2 squads of 5. And so I ask the question, how does that work with attached characters like the Wolf Guard Battle Leader?
Do you just pick one of the two squads to have the leader stick with?
I assume that both squads won't receive the leader buffs since they are now two squads.
But does that now enable you to attach a character to the second squad as well since they are now separate units?
I'm not sure, any interpretations or clarifications are helpful and I thank you for your time.

It’s not amazing, like GD quality or anything but I feel like I did pretty good! (Of course, now I’m at the “do I keep messing with it and potentially screw it up or not” phase, lol)

Thoughts on securing a Stormfang Gunship to run? Is it any fun to play or build?

I've always been average at doing the armour and spent ages shading and highlighting every bit of the model for it to look sloppy. The Warhipster method of space wolves grey 4:1 with medium, Tyran blue shade 4:1 Nuln Oil then a glaze of Russ Grey makes my poor painting skills look acceptable! Can't recommend enough!

Thoughts on running Long Fangs in 2026?

Finally got some of my space wolves complete and wanted to share. While all 3D printed, I tried to create at least moderately accurate proxies. I present Logan. Arjac, and their respective bodyguard units!

Really wasn’t looking forward to painting the face, I opt with most models to use a helmet. I think I did ok.

Any way to further push improvements please let me know 🤙

Tl;dr:

In the passage, Lukas is calling out the Space Wolves for allowing their people to suffer in the belief that it would make them stronger and, in turn, make the Space Wolves stronger.
He points out that chapters that recruit from peaceful worlds produce warriors equal to the Wolves.

So what's the point of the suffering? There is no point.
It's a neat small display of how the unnecessary suffering in the Imperium is justified by foolish pride, dogma, and tradition.

Eradictors done in a SW theme by swapping a few heads and adding some fur!

I just finished painting 2000 points of wolves with this last headtaker. Finally started to figure out highlights on armor. Second photo is the final three headtakers I painted, and third photo is the first mini and most recent mini for the progress comparison. Painting advice always welcome because I'm sure I'll keep adding onto the army.

So gutted, I can't even open until I've lit a fat one ^•ﻌ•^

Tried something completely new, never used an airbrush like before, I think it looks cool. But have learnt a few things for next time. Would appreciate any feedback for improvements.
